what are the down sides of using biodigester?

Here

Rany4all:
The biodigester soakaway is a much smaller entity than the regular soakaway, so the artisans claim it is cheaper and requires less space. They put certain products containing microorganisms and enzymes inside the biodigester soakaway, which are meant to breakdown faeces into gas that is then released into the atmosphere through vents.

Now the catch, which the artisans will not readily tell you upfront until after you're fully committed, is that the biodigester soakaway is only meant for your toilets. It is too small to take on waste water from baths, kitchen, washing machine or wash hand basins, and also the soap used in these places will deactivate the microorganisms and/or enzymes, so you still have to do a separate soakaway for your waste water, which may actually nullify the claim that it is "cheaper" or requires "less space".

And again, just as soap can deactivate the microorganisms, your regular toilet cleaning agents can also do the same, so you have to buy special cleaning agents meant for use with biodigester soakaways and these cleaning agents are not just readily available on your supermarket shelves.

most of this complex designs you see online are done with plasterboard and steel frames

Meaning it is more complex with pop cement?

Are you talking about the black belt lines? If Yes, He can still fix it, provided that there's still materials.

For the initial design, The boxes obviously can't fit in considering the space, if he adds those boxes the design would be choking (too close) it can only fit a wider space (not just lengthy).

For the initial design, it was meant for the full parlour and dining but he decided to cut the dining... I forgave him for that, now he has changed it again..

Yes, the black belt lines... It can still be done right? Okay...I will let him finish with the entire house, if no more materials, I will buy some cos I don't like how the parlour is looking..

Bolu1986 hamtabfawaz please help access this.. I told my pop guy that I need the lines in picture A in the design I gave him and he is saying that the lines can't enter there pic B..

The initial design was pic C but he said the boxes won't fit in so, I had to reduce to a box in 2 sides with those lines in the other 2 places, which we agreed on, only for him to tell me a different story this morning.. In fact, the lines were to be where he fixed the boxes and the boxes were he left empty.. I am already annoyed with the entire change he did without telling me, I don't even know how to react.. Please can those lines still be fixed? Different excuses from the lines won't enter to it will be a waste of materials bla bla bla

Your Soakaway dimension depends on the numbers of s while your method of construction depends on your soil type but I prefer to have top and bottom slabs.
Here's one we did for 6 flats of 2bedroom apartment
(24 s) with cars parking on it
Size: 4.0 x 2.75x3.0m deep.

The slab, beams and columns were designed to vehicular load. So we made the slab 200mm thick while the perimeter and internal beams were 450mm deep.

Various sizes of iron rebars were used from Y10mm for the links, Y12mm for the slab & beams and Y16mm for the beams and columns. In total, 42 lenghts of steel were used.

The blocks were 9inches and about 400 nos were used. The holes in the blocks were filled with lean concrete.

It's just for a 3 bedroom....

Good day engineers in the house, I'm at the stage of casting the top of my soak away and waste water, I'd like to know what quantity of cement and sand would be needed, aswell as what size of iron rod is best to use, I have granite available at the site. Thank you all.

Good evening everyone.. I am also making plans for soakaway.....will have cars parked on it... How will it go? I mean, how many feet deep? What is the best suitable dimension? Should I make a separate slot for waste water or just don't cement a part of the soakaway so it can absorb the water from beneath? What materials and quantity of materials will I need for setting and casting? How much should I budget? I'd really love to have these informations so I can start making plans for it..

Good evening my people, so I just want to advice people on here not to make the mistake I made with pop, always ensure to choose your designs and have a solid conclusion, I’m not satisfied with my pop designs as I just let them do their thing.. however we move.

Please what do you guys think of this pop staircase bar design ? Boring in my option but then.. what can I do to bring it to live ? Someone suggested putting glass inside the boxes ?

Note: interior painting hasn’t been done, just screeding.

Inputs will be appreciated, thanks

It is actually not bad, just add some few finishing touches and warm lights..
