Energy prices especially have really gone up. Petrol use to be $1. 90 but now it’s above $3 per gallon.
Electricity bill has almost doubled., if you live in a single family house here and pay less than $350 a month, that is cheap. Raise in home value has impacted tax amount. Even groceries have gone up, in most instances 20- 30%.
All these take big chunks off savings.

He is not really overcharging you. POP screeding is 1000 per sqm.

If you want to reduce price . You can supply him materials and pay him for labour alone.

1000 per sqm is the standard price. I am sure any POP will agree with me. Anyone giving you a lower price is probably doing that to get the Job and you need to buy sure whether they deliver a quality job.

My last bill was $58 and the only appliance that uses gas is the range. This is a family home with Basement, main floor, upper level and attached garage. I will go solar if i pay as much as you do.

Good evening my people, so I just want to advice people on here not to make the mistake I made with pop, always ensure to choose your designs and have a solid conclusion, I’m not satisfied with my pop designs as I just let them do their thing.. however we move.

The opposite was my case. With all the Instagram my wife and I browsed, there is no way we would have been able to come up with the designs my POP people did. All very beautiful and unique. We were tired of checking designs and just allowed them do their thing.

Something has been bothering me on my interior, my hdf living room wall design can be seen in PIC 1 , I complained I didn’t like how it doesn’t have a straight line with the line on the pop and the installer said ppl will not notice and they are trying to make the tiles on the floor straight in PIC 2 because the front wall design isn’t straight as in PIC 3 ( something like this _/—-\_ )


I hate the sight whenever I look at it from up, so please Ild like opinions on if it’s better to be straight and tiles on the floor doesn’t allign or bent up and tiles allign on the floor, thanks
