I am disionate about this things just seek to understand the reason behind things and use common sense and logic to justify.

I am a humanist and my thinking is how all of Nigeria can thrive. If I can correctly we had at least 2 Fulani (Saadatu and Binta) from Kano in our set of 90 and both of their families are doing well and at least one of them her children are foreign trained graduates and her grandparents were actually traders in Onitsha. This is in the 70s and 80s oh.

Often times the Southeast wants to believe they are the only ones advancing in education when most who are not exposed are delusional about what is happening in other states.

You have to think about the planned location of the borehole. My advice is to locate the borehole in the front and the soak away at the back because it is unlikely that they can both stay in the same place on 25ft wide.

I once saw 1 twobed and 4 onebed on half plot of 120ft by 30ft.

dapotemi:
Pls I'll appreciate your input here.
I have gotten to the soakaway stage in my bungalow. I have very limited space. It's half plot (100 by 25), and I was able to squeeze a two bedroom flat and two mini flat on it as a single unit.
The problem now is, the only space remaining in front is where d soakaway will be and aside from the conventional soakaway, which other option do I have.. I won't consider Biodigester because this is a rental property. Tenant hardly follow rules. The remaining space can manage two small car. The car will be parked ON d soakaway always and this bothers me. My dad's soakaway just went down on its own last year after 9 years and car is not even allow on it.
Someone is advising I consider the ring soakaway due to space. Is there any disadvantage to this ring's own..My land is not very hard, tho not swampy..its just in d middle. What other options do I have? Appreciate any response

You have an answer in your head which serves your I better my neighbor believe which you are entitled to.

You like to repeat how much better you think the southeastern person is compared to others when what matters is the individual and the positive impact we make in the world.

Sorry, you didn't answer the direct question I asked.
gabbytabby: 6:24pm On May 18
This proves the point that the more opportunities people have the less likelihood that they will be bribed into criminality.

Your solution is to handover everything to the southeast and you wonder why others are reluctant to vote you to superintend over their affairs. Equality to try to maintain some balance is crucial.

The capacity for logical and rational thought is missing because of greed, selfishness and covetousness.

Are they likely to get the crème dola creme from other regions representing only 15% of the year’s population absolutely not.

You can’t compare apples and oranges and the last time I heard they did riot and broke so many things in the school because the teachers would not let them cheat during waec exams unthinkable during our time and we still all got 5 credits( in our time we were counting how many A’s) I think currently the rate (5 credits) is the low 50s percentile.

Most Genz have not known poverty so they are not as determined and disciplined around their education and this phone distraction wahala e get as he be.

Una no like equality and some balance of federal character at all. God forgive you for not being your brothers keeper.

I went to a unity school and as at today some of the 27 in Yobe her children are all graduates and some even doctors. Whilst she came in not speaking any English and she spent 2 year in year 1 and year 2 and by the time I left she was in year 3 and fluent in English. I thank God for her and her parents perseverance and she no carry belle.

We are as strong as the weakest of us and we need to continue to draw all closer to the middle so that there is improvement all round.

State governments are responsible for primary and secondary education in each state. Unity schools are set up as part of the recommendations after the war to unify Nigerians now I am not scared of any people from any part of Nigeria.

In my time parents were not interested in sending their children out of region (it is probably still the same now) and got the letter never discussed it with me. I Just happened to spot my name under the TV and had to convince my parents that I want to go as this was in Anambra state now I ask myself what was I thinking. Only about 15% was out of the region.

PresidObi:
If you score 2 in yobe, you have ed, meanwhile a person in Anambra will need to score 139 to equal the boy who scored 2 in yobe?

They have really cheated the north, thinking they are doing them a favour. This is a way to destroy the youths of a place with illiteracy, masked as opportunity. That's also why Nigeria will never work.

The Benue Plateau versus Fulani people issue has been ongoing for over 40 years.

Nobody should be allowed to threaten another and the government need to find a middle ground.

The benefits of going to a pro unitate school is you get to see that on an individual basis, nobody is a monster we are all looking for what to eat and not what will eat us.

I have always wondered what the reason for it is. My research to date suggests the following please add yours

1) Farmer/ herder conflict
2) Exchange rate which makes product not worthwhile for our neighbors to sell to us.
3) Few Nigerians involved in farming and we are closing our borders to imports
4) Sanctions on electricity etc with our neighbors and counter sanctions from our neighbors from loss of electricity income (hence increase in electricity tariffs) and withdrawal of agricultural goods.
5) Because of exchange difference and a lot of japa market, exports have become more attractive so a lot of farmers have shifted to production for export.

Which can we do something about and what are we doing about it.

UN because una be pretend men that have been emasculated.

Mbanda:
Wetin this one dey talk self?
So you never hear when Kanu and his group dey tell una say they want a UN supervised referendum?

So, UN supervised referendum that Kanu and his group has been championing, is now translated to "forceful inclusion and grabbing other people's land" by feeble minds like you?

If that is the case, where do you know Igbo land extends to? Can you point their God's giving boundaries!

Your covetousness in trying to forcefully include and grab other people’s land and stop them from their independence when they are not interested in yours has been the reason for the downfall of Aburi accord. There is no Biafra and there will never be a Biafra.

The true Africans are trying to work closer together while the Jews need to be with other Jews and be spat at by their masters.

When we came we came with nothing and when we leave we leave with nothing why can’t people live and let live.

Your reasoning is failing you. What most of us wants is Biafra.

Often times people mistake manipulation, gaslighting, blackmail, aggression for their version of equity, fairness and democracy.

I keep saying you can’t force people to hand things to you by force. Build positive relationships and let people decide who they want to lead them.

Nobody get 2 heads and the more 2 keep threatening violence or aggression the less the likelihood of getting what you desire.

There is a test you can do to test for this. I have a friend who went through similar and had 5 pregnancies with 2 life births cos the test is 50/50 as could result to pregnancy termination even where the foetus is not sickle.

I also had similar experience with the test where I was told at secondary school and university entrance by 2 different places that I was AA when this is not the case.

Once issue identified the corrective action becomes self evident

1) Break the floor area from inside and correct the mismatch with good quality pipe and connecting bend and then seal the surrounding with good cement/sand making sure there are no gaps.

2) Remove the second waste and the connecting pipe and properly seal at an appropriate point such that no flow goes towards this direction. They had to break the wall but re plastered at the end.

Even if you do externals piping there will always be some sections which will always be inside the block work connecting the internals to the externals.

In rentals I would always recommend doing external piping because of how some people live eh and you don’t want to be breaking walls all the time.

If you as a landlord shares the building with tenants also ensure that at least your kitchen pipe is external he get why and unless your tanks are located in an open area (front or side of building with regular traffic) share tank cos there are murderous tenants.

There is one sand they call 3 in 1 in Ayobo area but it is more sharp than plaster and I only used it for fence work.

Mi aroron. I no want katakata problem in the future but people use it to build and plaster.

bixton:

I want to believe the your use of term "stack" means blocks with mortar mix are laid one on top another horizontally and vertically.
If that's the case then it's only advisable that one uses sharp sand and portalnd cement.

I hope you are not mixing it up.
The only time where clay is used in place of plastering sand or gum sand is when plastering works or rendering on walls is to be done.

When I have had this problem the culprit has been

1) Waste, pipes and tiles not properly connected and/ sealed so further leaks through the sides of the tiles.

2) Initial plan and plumbing for additional waste when bathroom is washed but tiler covered the spot so we did not see this until the leak from the wall and at least one attempt of changing the bend and re sealing which did not work.

debeey87:
Two of the flats in my rental property have water soaking the walls from the toilet area.

First plumber I contracted said the issue was from opening between the floor and wall tiles, so he used water proof cement on the edges but that didn't stop it. We also noticed that the floor doesn't direct water into the floor drain so you still have some left over water on the bathroom floor. This was corrected by tiler recently by redoing the floor and water flows completely to the drain. However the issue is still there.

New plumber is saying the water supply is the culprit considering how much the wall is getting soaked and seeing it spread across the outside wall. He's suggesting we break the wall to find the leak ( I will prefer to rather run a new surface supply line instead of breaking the wall).

Has anyone experienced such and how did they solve it. Can waste pipes be responsible as well.
gabbytabby: 12:30pm On May 15
Mercenaries in the Sahel only escalated the problem because it’s like asking the cat to look after the fish.

Most of them are the ones funding the bandits for the purposes of natural resources theft and that is why they are refusing to sell reconnaissance and military hardware to Nigeria shouting human rights we need to buy from others under the radar even if it means China, North Korea or Russia, India, Pakistan, Iran etc.

When our pretend friends are more interested in the human rights of murderers, kidnappers, bandits than the preservation of life and property of lawful nationals then you have to ask are they friends or foe.

We need to start building our own weapons too.

I think foreign saboteurs are also using some of them and probably promising land grab and the spoils of mineral resources theft.

It is a complex issue that needs a well thought out response. I was really hopeful that Buhari with his military background would be able to make a dent.
