“I Began Collecting Them Years Ago and Now Have Over 650”: This Man Has Been Powering His Home With Laptops Since 2016 An ordinary homeowner turned discarded laptop batteries into a powerful energy source that has kept his house running for nearly a decade. This surprising approach combines old tech with solar power in an unexpected way. 24 440 watt capacity s Each battery pack is rated at 100 amp hours Since 2016, a dedicated energy autonomy enthusiast in Farmingdale, New York, has been powering his entire home using more than 650 recycled laptop batteries. His system is installed in a shed roughly fifty meters from his house, where discarded lithium-ion cells are carefully harvested and assembled into a custom battery array. This unconventional energy solution combines recycled batteries with solar s to create a fully off-grid power system, providing continuous electricity for nearly a decade. Silent reader most of the time. Parents still have a role, a critical role. I have read arguments for and against, Have you seen Nigerian motor park boys who literally brought themselves up or were brought up by that environment? Can you compare them with home trained kids? While parents may not be very good judges of which career will be the financial equivalent of striking gold. Parents help kids with training that put the kid on a pedestal for success. It is at home kids are best suited to learn responsibility, discipline, and perseverance which translates to a strong work ethic. The best place to learn active listening, empathy, and conflict resolution, which are essential for teamwork and leadership in the workplace is through parent child communication at home. The safest place to practice curiosity, exploration, and independent thinking is at home, if these values are nurtured, then their children can develop problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities which are vital for navigating workplace challenges and fostering innovation. ive parenting helps children develop emotional resilience and the ability to adapt to change, crucial traits for navigating the dynamic nature of the modern workplace. ive parenting helps children develop emotional intelligence, including the ability to understand and manage their emotions effectively, leading to better workplace relationships and reduced stress. Parental belief in their children's abilities can significantly boost their confidence and self-efficacy, making them more likely to pursue ambitious goals and persevere in the face of setbacks in their careers. The take home is this: Parental training and active involvement in their children's lives significantly shape the skills, values, aspirations, and emotional well-being that contribute to their success and fulfillment in the workplace or business. While parents maybe bad judges of which career will fly, parents can be good builders of the foundation on which the kid can launch any career of their choice into stardom. So while it is true that we must factor in individual talents, a ive and guiding parental influence provides a strong foundation for professional achievement. And what parent would consider himself a good parent without offering valuable advice, resources, and encouragement as their children explore career options and make educational choices? 7 Likes 2 Shares |

This argument seems to have left the forum poorer. Someone very knowledgeable has completely erased all his contributions to the forum. It is a net loss and not a gain. 2 Likes |

Peterlove11: This is solid information. As someone said be weird or be broke. In other words, there are so few people from Nigeria in your industry that make these kinds of videos. Don't stop. Over time you may even be ed by the manufacturers themselves to test these on behalf of their intended markets. You will also receive special invites to industry events, etc. In conclusion, continue to distinguish yourself. Money will follow name recognition. 6 Likes |

AdisaMighty: Words on marble. But he faces a chicken egg situation. Learn code on an empty stomach or not. That is to say without a means to survive he will find it very difficult to give learning to program the undivided attention it deserves. Does he even have a laptop? Access to the internet? A stable accommodation? He didn't say but you get my drift. That said never were truer words spoken in response to his question. Then the other issue. It takes a while to learn to solve problems when school taught the majority to learn to follow directions. (The conflict between being self directed and following directions) Finally, you need to realize that you will need to learn to solve several problems before you hit the one that is the equivalent of striking gold. He must bear this in mind. Very rarely will the first problem you solve be the problem that results in a financial breakthrough 6 Likes 2 Shares |

This is an objective question and not a diss or an attack. What are the pros and cons of purchasing a battery from our guy here Valto versus any other packaged batteries? I've read here that Felicity batteries overstate their capacity but that Valto states the real capacity. What other issues play in favor of Valto? If there are any cons, please share. Want to make an objective purchase decision here. This is going to be my first lithium battery purchase and I don't want to get it wrong. Comments on the below will be helpful: Capacity, Cycle life, DIscharge rate, safety features, Build quality Will be helpful This list is by no means exhaustive 1 Like |
