Oh yes if you speak normal Spanish people will understand but if they speak Chilean Spanish to you and you only know normal Spanish it’s gonna be hard to understand
Exactly what I was thinking. Good to know. Thanks.

Lol. It seems we are only allowed to type in English on this forum. My initial response to this post was in Spanish and the bot banned me. The second time it's happening. I thought it was an error the first time. Shame on seun.
Anyway, I was saying that the general way of saying these words or phrases would still be understood if you used them, right? Like if you said "es/toy abu/rr/ido", you would still be understood as being bored, yes?
Yes. If you type an entire post in a clearly foreign language, the anti spam bot bans you. Mrbrownjay has suffered the same when he types in French.

I am not sure it has to be an entire post. The first time I was banned, I typed just two words

Saw this on Reddit and I ed when I told my guy Gerrard59 that I am yet to meet any Chilean of my age that has 2 siblings. It’s always one or they are the only child. I have been here for 19 months now and I haven’t seen anyone with 3 kids even at church. It’s always 2 or 1. Having even two kids here signifies that you be odogwu o. In a way I kind of like it cause the quality of life here is very high not like in Nigeria where we give birth like animals without any resources to fend for them.

Chile is a wealthy society, so lower birth rates aren't surprising. Although, there hasn't been any non-wealthy country with a low birth rate, Southeast Asian countries are likely to form a trend where not so wealthy countries have low birth rates.
Apparently, having so many children is a sign of poverty.
But the rate being so low (below 1%) makes Chile synonymous with South Korea. One common tie between both countries is extreme Ndi ifeminismi

Chile’s entire population is roughly 20 million. Santiago, her Capital, is just a little above 7 million.
Whereas the densely populated Lagos houses close to 20 million, if not more.

The funny thing is chile is slightly smaller than Nigeria by landmass and its real population figures is around 18 million. If you include illegals, probably around 20 million. We are too much in Nigeria 😂😂

We are too much for a country that lacks the basic things.
A country where there are no working systems, enforcements and structures.
Poorly tracked metrics.
Zero or inadequate provision for the masses.
Those in power can’t be held able.
Uneven distribution of wealth/proper living, where only a tiny chunk of the population benefit.
It’s sad.

People always say the worst mistake a man can make is marrying the wrong woman. I actually feel that as a man it can only be the worse mistake if you allow it be the worst mistake in your life. Men have leverage and men can always walk away from any situation. Men easily abandon their wives and children and move on like nothing happened. Out of 10 men at random, 9 men will easily abandon their families and feel absolutely no guilt. It’s completely different for women. The worst mistake a woman will ever make in her life is marrying a bad man. I used to be so judgmental to women especially with how hypergamous and all they are but with what I have seen so far, women aren’t even brutal enough with regards to the choice of partners they have to make.
Look at my father, I have never seen someone in my life that is so useless. Honestly, I ask myself how my mom even married someone like that. It would have been better for her that she never married or she even became a single mother because that’s what she is. Would you believe that since I came to chile my father never sent me one dollar 😂😂😂. Your only son went to study in another country and you couldn’t even send him money. The money I used to come here was my savings from when I was working. If the fool dies today, family will be disturbing me to perform rights as an only son for someone who never did anything for me. To think my story isn’t even unique. There’s so many like me and so many married women that are pretty much single mothers. So many Nigerian men are completely useless and that’s one of the reasons Nigeria can never get better. It’s not just the politicians. The average Nigerian man living in Nigeria is completely nothing to write home about. Completely useless and extremely stupid.
I also my neighbor. Very beautiful soul. Came from a middle class home and married a poor man for love. She lived in poverty until she died. It wasn’t even up to six months after her death this man was already showing another woman on his status. Her first son now steals and does yahoo. Her younger son was just expelled from secondary school for homosexuality. I just pray her daughter is alright. It’s not even up to a year and the man can’t even hold his family. Doesn’t drop any money at home doesn’t do anything. Not even a year. Like what was the point. Wouldn’t it have been better for her to never have gotten married at all

The program must be very good. If possible, get a job in a physical setting where you can learn hands-on and get mentored. Also, a physical setting (hybrid won't be allowed for new entrants) ensures a structured environment to learn from.
This means you have to apply to as many openings as possible. Job hunting is a numbers game, especially at entry level and most especially in changing industries.
You need that hands-on experience to hone your newly acquired skill. Three years later, you can aim for higher positions.

Currently, I'm a university student and it gets quite busy with my course. However, I always always have time for the extracurriculars.
That means my best option is a WFH setting.

Unsolicited advice alert!
Just look for an internship and grow from there.
Alternatively you can skip that, start something that solves a real problem and raise funds.
If I were to advise my younger self, I will pick the latter. You are very unlikely to ever become wealthy coding for a salary.
PS: I have been coding for almost 20 years, I have seen both money and lack thereof

Honestly, people need to hear this often. This applies to mothers, even children too.
Marriage/parenthood is a sacred thing and should be done seriously.
