Hiring more professionals with qualified certifications is too expensive. The ones we have now already have working experience with foreign aircraft manufacturers.

VLO tech employed consist of RAM, design parameters and adjusting some.......

The French company was hired for line overhaul and is not an accredited Lockheed mro so even if they could do an entire overhaul it wouldn't be accredited.

Naahh we will continue using an accredited Lockheed service center for our maintenance and overhauls.....if what you say is indeed true and Lockeed is not even involved in any of your C130 overhauls only God knows what cooked up chinese copy parts are used instead of genuine Lockheed parts.... Lastly at least I've seen all but 2 of our 9 moribound c130s in the air in the past year and a half.

I've literally only ever seen NAF:913,917 and 918 operational... Ever!!!

Already, Nigerian security personnel from the Army, Police, Department of State Services (DSS) have been dispatched to Russia for training as Special Forces to combat the Boko Haram insurgents who are mounting stiff challenge to the Nigerian security services.


As part of the agreement between Nigeria and Russia, a group of Nigerian security personnel are already in Eastern Europe for training as Special Forces with another batch, made up of the Army, Police and DSS billed to leave Nigeria next month to the other three batches that are already in training.

They're still not operating under the umbrella of AFSF. My Bleep is with the NPF and I can confirm that. There's a special unit of the Nigerian police which has been taking funds from the ONSA and already has military training.

They were forced to stop for sometime when the military accused the police of not being capable to work with them in the north east and that weapons looted by bokoharam which were being used by the terrorist on the military came from the police force.

The unit was later brought back to the North east after more training abroad. The unit has NSCDC officers with it.

They are being trained together abroad but are not referred to as AFSF. ONSA has always been funding it like some others.

These guys were drawn from the SPU, MOPOL and CTU.

of the DSS and Police are part of the AFSF. AFSF is funded and coordinated by the Office of The National Security Adviser.

of the DSS along with Policemen and SF from the Navy, Army and Air Force were selected and received same training.

Off course the DSS won't be deployed like regular SF from the military in front line combat, there's would be covert deployment.

Are they operating as a detachment of AFSF? they're operating under their own umbrella using officers from units already funded by ONSA.
