LTGEN:As at last year. https://m.guardian.ng/news/navy-needs-250m-to-refit-nns-aradu/ I once read it somewhere where the CNS discussed well about the refitting. He said the fire control radar and onboard systems and others will be changed. Meaning missiles too will change. IMO, a new ship on NNS Aradu hull and superstructure. |

LTGEN: NNS ARADU is probably coming back to life. It uses 2 MTU 20V 956 TM92 diesels. |

That vehicle on the left. I have seen such lagos few weeks ago. Two moving together and fully armored. I guess NIA OR DSS. One of the vehicle got hit by a vehicle on island close to to Bonny cantonment. The guys inside were on suit, Black specs. Why are intelligence fond of such vehicles?. Including Chevrolet something.

Hence why most countries require pilots to hold a degree in aerospace related courses before L now. Some things would have been detected before the flight. Just look at the PA :you don't know the source? Man are you serious? I hope you know how to read your instruments and not just flying? |

M14A1: Exactly. Corruption and sentiments is what killed Ajaokuta steel. Now the original builder has been contracted to look at it. They said 40 out of the 43 plants are in still working but around $500M will be needed to modernize it. Ajaokuta was killed the same way our refineries were killed. Corruption and useless actions. 4 Likes |

Ajaokuta steel needs $500M to become operational. The house of representatives is already working on it. There has been repeated deliberation on it recently. NATO is not the problem of Ajaokuta. Raising $500M is the problem. It's not a small amount and I'm sure you're not expecting the Chinese to fund it and then it's going to take the government over 10 years to get full control of it back when the Chinese is done making their money from it. Ajaokuta Steel Project is located on 24,000 hectares of sprawling green-field land-mass. The Steel Plant itself is built on 800-hectares of land. That's some damn big steel plant sha. We have other steel plants in Nigeria but none has the operational capability of Ajaokuta. Quick question: how on earth did we get the money to start that company at first? Like was Nigeria damn rich before? Someone please tell me. 3 Likes |
