There is no new tax policy of the government as regards personal income tax. The PAYE rate is still the same so, there can't be additional deduction from police officers salaries.
You mean the OP is just saying fairy tales?

There have been a serious uproar among the ranks and file, officers and civilian staff working with d Nigeria police force as February salary has been grossly debited with huge deduction by IPPIS in d name of Fed govt new tax policy.

Yes huge disaster because of d fact dat people are already complaining dat salaries are no longer enough in dis (Buhari) regime and require upward review, but all they could get is huge deduction is dis fare APC. imagine deductions as high as 10k, 20k & even >30k, how can we survive dis? please affected personal share ur experience, mine was 23k. what do we do? Also is dis new tax policy also affecting other civil and public servants?

Same deductions affected pensioners! The daura relic was a universal mistake and should be pinged to daura!

Dude, I can categorically tell you they were huge deductions, thou they claim Tax but only God knows..

Something is definitely wrong somewhere and Ippis should immediately explain. Is this the first IPPIS is paying police force salaries?

IGP, Police Service Commission and IPPIS have to explain the deductions, I know an officer whose salary is 50k but he got 44k as Feb, Salary. this is how IGP Abubakar deducted 11k in two months salary from police all in the name of insurance till date nothing has been done. Nigerian Police is mother of corruption. Oga PMB where is the kwarapture you from fighting?

The 23,000 naira deduction should be an added motivation

There is nothing like upward review of tax (PAYE) in the Civil Service because it would cut across board and not only Police personnel. IPPIS staff should explain exactly what happened. Probably, problem occurred during the .

Eya, I feel for gallant officers!!!
