Eurosatory 2018 is due to begin in a couple of days. ![]() ![]() I'm excited!!! ![]() I'm excited because back in 2010 when i actually began following the military religiously, i never knew this day will come. A day when a Nigerian defence company will be exhibiting at Eurosatory, in their very own booth. In 2010, Nigeria did not have a single company manufacturing anything. DICON was in a state of camatose. Today we now have a Defence company exhibiting at the world's premier defence exhibition. It's a monumental achievement by any standard. We can now also lay claim to a defence Industry as i can name 6 Nigerian companies manufacturing in the Defence sector, with 3 companies in the auto-mobile defence sector. Proforce Defence will be exhibiting at this year's Eurosatory in . 1 Like |

PPP - Nigerian Air Force engineering units producing world class drones, various helicopter parts and Avionics systems. PPP - Nigerian army engineers building the Igirigi, IPV etc PPP - There's another boat building company, this one in Lagos building armoured boats also. So you have 12 known companies. 1 Like |

jteku: Its massively underwhelming to what I expected. Like, the Gripen and Typhoon have better layouts... IMO |
jteku(m): 7:23am On Jun 09, 2018 |
patches689: Yeah! The Rafale cockpit looks very simple which might make it easy to operate, unlike the Gripen with the gizmo light display all around, but it beautiful though. |

![]() The Demfas Aerosystems public safety solution consists of a dispatch software, AI-based CCTV solutions, and radio communication systems. The radio communication systems enable public safety officers to be tracked on live mode through the inbuilt GPS systems. The CAD software which boasts of GIS capability and access to all CCTV feeds within a jurisdiction serves as eyes for the operators before the arrival of public safety officers who are responding to an emergency. The CAD software also provides an accurate location of all public safety officers through the help of the GPS enabled radio communication systems. The Demfas Aerosystems public safety solution provides a comprehensive system where video surveillance, voice dispatching, Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Geographic Information System (GIS), and call-taking and dispatching systems are closely integrated to enable threat awareness, early warning, and incident management throughout the whole process. Apparently, we are trying our best to make the UAV prototype fly by the end of the year but funding for it has been provided from revenue of our other products and needs to be put on halt due to other projects such as facility constructions going on in Nigeria. We will make a mockup and probably the Nigerian Airforce for a t development and then provide necessary data to them. 18 Likes |

I don't understand something, are there only Nigerians applauding the efforts of @Tdayof in this thread or what? ![]() ![]() How come the South-Africans in this thread are silent, or is the ingenuity of Tdayof so scary that a common congratulatory message seems like your sense of purpose is now under threat? 3 Likes |

patches689: You don't need to quote me, a simple congratulatory message to the techprenuer will more than suffice. "But spamming this thread with worthless photos of aircraft cockpits is relevant to the thread's topic right?". "Genius"! By the time his systems start flooding the global market, that's when you'll start telling your kids stories of how you used to know the man? 1 Like |

Henry240: You've got some serious issues which I hope one day you'll be able to work through. Some people just view the last page, see if there's anything interesting and leave. From what I see there are 4 people who congratulated him. Are there not way more than 4 Nigerians who visit this site? Why not ask them why they are silent? I'm only logging on now and had to go back to see what you were talking about. And by the way not everyone knew that @tdayof was associated with Demfas. This is not YOUR moment, it's his. Congratulations @tdayof. 12 Likes |

Henry240: What makes you glad is irrelevant. You're probably also glad for chicken stew, must we clap for you now? Sit down. This is not about you. When you win an ing award for "neatest debit and credit ledger" we'll clap for you, but not now. And when you're done also go "call out" the rest of the Nigerians and Cameroonians that here.
