This report is not correct. Zamfara and katsina should be in that list. I follow a security analyst who post 5 murders daily on average from each of those states on twitter.

The recent mass killings in Bassa and Bokkos Local Government Areas of Plateau State, where 104 innocent people were slaughtered by armed Fulani herdsmen, have once again exposed the brutal and unrelenting violence engulfing Nigeria’s Middle Belt. These are not random attacks they are part of a calculated and ideological campaign to wipe out indigenous populations.

What people are failing to realize is that what is going on in the Middle Belt of Nigeria is a systemic genocide being perpetrated by Fulani militias a coordinated campaign of violence that has been ongoing for years, targeting indigenous communities. The ultimate goal is to exterminate minority tribes and take over their ancestral lands, fulfilling a long-standing expansionist agenda rooted in the 19th-century jihad led by Uthman Dan Fodio, who promised Fulani domination across the region. The following are documented massacres in Plateau State, attributed to Fulani armed groups:

The persistent and targeted massacres in Plateau State, especially the most recent killings in Bassa and Bokkos, make it painfully clear that Nigeria is witnessing a silent but systematic campaign of ethnic cleansing. These are not mere “clashes” or isolated incidents they are part of an organized, ideologically driven effort by Fulani militias to displace indigenous communities, exterminate minority tribes, and assert control over ancestral lands in accordance with a historical expansionist vision that traces back to Uthman Dan Fodio’s jihad.

Despite years of bloodshed, mass displacement, and trauma, the Nigerian state has largely failed to halt the violence or bring the perpetrators to justice. This failure is not just a dereliction of duty it is complicity. Silence in the face of genocide is a form of approval.

The world must recognize what is happening in Nigeria’s Middle Belt for what it is: a genocide unfolding in slow motion. Until there is national reckoning, genuine justice, and a decisive break from the politics of ethnic domination, the killings will continue, and Nigeria’s unity will remain a fragile illusion.

Nah...the Establishment is still enjoying its dividends!
yep they have incentives to hold it together even tho they don't believe in it. As long as the Nigerian system is still making money for them they will never let it go.

I am posting this topic here and if you feel this resonates with you then its for you.

If you have any relatives or friends abroad check up on them most of all of the live in America because lately, we have been going through alot.
I live in america and few weeks ago I posted about a tornado that came around and destroyed and killed people and I was a living withness to that event and I lived to withness as it flew past the front of my house and didn't do no damage to us but some of my neigbours story was diffrent.

I posted the topic here

https://nairaland.unblockandhide.com/8388236/caught-up-middle-multiple-tornadoes

When this tornado happened, I was told we lost some few Africans which includes.

2 Nigerians and 1 cameroonian ( we are still waiting on names to be published before the flood came in)

Today or should I say for the past few days we have been battling flood.
This flood came like the flood that was stated in the bubble like in the days of Moses i was thinking it was the end of the world.

I have lost one of my whole trucking business to flood as my whole business and more than 40km radius minimum all residential living area is now covered with flood. So far so good more than 60 people have been conformed dead this time they said a whole Nigerian family of 5 as I was told (allegedly) still waiting on names.
This flood coverd 4 states in American and they said this type of flood haven't happened in almost 30 years and it is measured about 36 feet foot mark.
I live here and how i have survived this few days its been God only. It is very bad so bad.

Please if you have families abroad mostly America and you haven't heard from them in a while check up on them ASAP.

oga you say America as if America is one small village. Nigerians are spread across America and most of them don't live in flood/tornado prone areas. Stop spreading unnecessary fear

@logan2 How did your trip go? I'm planning a similar trip in a month's time and was wondering if I can actually do it or if I should just use public transport. My additional concern is that the rainy season should have started then and the roads might be trickier to navigate as well.
i did not take the trip. A driver told me it was too risky, since I'm a private driver.

As an audiophile, I'm always on the lookout for the best Earbuds that can deliver exceptional sound quality regardless of the budget. I'm looking at spending around 200,000 for a new Earbuds and looking for recommendations.

I need an earbud that can offer me an heavy bass, an hybrid multitasking feature and an amazing battery life. What is the best Earbuds you think I can get for my budget? I'll be in the comment section.

Go through nasarawa...the Oweto area, cut through to Otukpo, head to otukpa and viola, you're at Obollo. Then via the Opi junction take the winding downward smooth road to appear at Abakpa... you're clear. Lots of villages along the road just short distance from each other....so you're bound to feel more secure. Cheers safe ride and greetings to home people.

PS: The only bad road area you're going to encounter is between keffi to nasarawa. Then from otukpa to Obollo. At those areas, drive carefully since your car may be low.
thanks man.

My mother is becoming something else honestly... l don't know if it selfishness or something else...

l will be 30yrs next year ,have a business that is paying me well , my fiancee is also doing well for herself .....

l realize that each time l raise issue regarding marriage. my mother keep on emphasizing on building house first and riding cars...l feel she is either not in touch with reality or she is afraid the help l am giving the family will stop once l get married...

In either way l am gradually smelling danger...my parents may disapproved my marriage because of their selfish reasons...

The thought of it annoys me honestly,, because l intend doing this marriage with or without their concept.. how do l start handling this issue? l intend getting married highest by 2026.please l need ur advice nairalanders..

Guys, I am planning a lone Trip from Abuja to Enugu with a private car.

Those who have plied the two popular routes to get to Enugu pls which one is best.
That is though Nasarawa (Keffi) or through Kogi (Okene)

- Road condition wise for a low ground clearance sedan

- Security wise for a lone driver

- Is this even advisable?
