Getting to work this morning, saw a memo that read no staff should bring a phone to company..
This is a modern slavery, that needs the government attention..

How you were employed is even a miracle because
It is simple english…they didn’t say you shouldn’t bring your phone…they said don’t USE it in the factory. Nawa

you lied. It's between 1997-2012.

So how do a kid born in 1997 used those phones?

So are you trying to say that someone born in 1997 cannot play with their parents or relatives phones like all those snake games and prince of Persia at 10 years old? In 2007 even if they didn’t own the phone except their parents gave them at least they have handled it…let’s try and apply some logic at times and not be looking for every way to pick on genz it’s a stale trend.

When God wants to punish a nation collectively, He makes dumb people outnumber the wise so they can elect a bad leader.

What an irony…yet you tinubu ers don’t accept the fact that you are among the dum people that have outnumbered the wise 😂

As much as I dont like the man because of his religious bigotry, this act is a sign of humility, acceptance of responsibility and readiness to correct mistakes unlike our leaders of today that sees themselves above all.
If he decided not to do what he did, heaven will not fall.

You’re the type that will fall for a woman’s crocodile tears after you catch her cheating on you.

Dis you watch same vide I watched? Your comprehension skills are very low. Having issues with banks isn't the issue here but GTB notifying authorities to come puck him up after he tried rectifying issues with the bank. The dude in the video specifically said if someone like VDM can be kidnapped in the banking hall if GTB that who is he that no one knows? That is the premise if hik truncating relationship with Gtbank. Comprehension skills aren't same for everyone

Oga…does your own comprehension tell you that “kidnapped” and “arrested” the same thing?….

Also you said kidnapped in the banking hall which means you didn’t watch the cctv footage

Also do you really have proof that they notified the authorities to pick him? Nigerians….una Dey tire person with una chain reaction follow follow foolishness abeg

It's said that the bank cooperated with the efcc to have vdm stalled so they could come and arrest him .. so that makes the bank an accomplice to his arrest ..

“It’s said” which means you don’t have proof that they cooperated with them

Isn’t it better to shut up instead?

i still dont understand the whole scenario , did gta hold him down for him tovvbe arrested , or he was track down in GTB , i am just curious to know ? lets be objective and not act based on emotion . i like VDM , but i need to understand the correlation between the damaging of the gta cards and closing of s by the holders .GTB is drowning , dont let us add to their problems . lets be objective and be analytical in our approach to things

You’re advising people that have herd mentality.

THE DEVIL IS A LIAR!!!

If you love GOD and yourself, flee from masturbation.
It is bad for your soul.
Masturbation is a tool the devil uses to hold people captive.

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Don’t mind that sponsored agent of Satan.

I am here to send a message to anyone who cares to listen.

For thousands of years the powers that be (the church) have run a negative marketing on masturbation.
And have persuaded milliions of people to believe it is a sin.

Masturbation is the highest form of self love you can give yourself.

Human beings are electromagnetic beings.
When you have sex with another human being. You bond together and transfer energy between yourselves.

This is powerful secret about sex.
When 2 humans come in sexually they ignite a bond.
Be careful who you bond with.

Now what masturbation does is prevent you from bonding energetically with a random person...

Masturbation gives you the oppurtunity to love your body and feel your true spiritual self for couple seconds.
That couple of seconds you feel and experience your true self is called Orgasm.

See how you’re boldly allowing satan talk through you.
When you masturbate you’re open portals for demons and having sex with demons…

The fact that you’re even pretending to be a lady shows you’re possessed

Ignoramus justifying dirty habits. Continue.

I’m currently studying for my first degree in Statistics. I can graduate with a 2.1 effortlessly, but getting a first-class would require a bit effort. My issue is that I’m already balancing a job, plus I’m feeling lazy and unmotivated about school.

For those who have graduated and have experience about the labour market, please:

Are there any significant advantages to having a first-class over a 2.1?
Did it make a difference in your career, further studies, or job opportunities?

I need real-life experiences and opinions to convince me whether to put in the effort or just avoid unnecessary stress.

You better aim for a first class..if you aim for 2:1 anything can happen and you may fall below. This same feeling you have many of us thought like you too when we were in school. Please brace up

There's a saying that 'people do not fight when they are starving, people fight when they have eaten well, they have tasted a forbidden luxury and now they are hungry for more'.

I think there is some truth to this...

We have North Korea, lots of underfed people but yet North Koreans aren't protesting against the Kim dynasty, but in the more developed South Korea there was an attempted coup...

China, a country with poor labour rights is peaceful and an advanced economy while a country with one of the best labour laws nearly erupted last year.

Haiti never protested under the reign of Duvalier (Papa Doc).

Here in Nigeria we have Northerners who are mostly illiterates, majority are cobblers, tailors, farmers, and some herdsmen yet you rarely Northerners complain about the state of the Nation the way some tribes do.

Let us look some of the most profound political trouble makers that have plagued Nigeria

1) Ojukwu (billionaire son)
2) Ken Saro Wiwa (famous actor)
3) MKO Abiola (billionaire)
4) Tompolo (Prince)
5) Nnamdi Kanu (Prince/British citizen)
6) Simon Ekpa (Prince/Lawyer/Finnish citizen)

None of these trouble makers were poor struggling people, they had very little in common with the average Nigerian. Maybe there is nothing wrong with Nigeria, maybe some people are just spoiled and entitled, they have tasted good food, now they want good food all the time.

I love the way everyone avoided your stupid thread? You called Ken saro wiwa a trouble maker because he fought for his area to stop being polluted?

It’s your stupidity that may end up making you kpai by hanging. Useless tinubu er.

You may not understand this.

Understand what? There are systems and processes involved before taking any actions on an especially when it’s not a ordered by a court…if not any action you take like that as a staff will be sanctioned.

No wonder some steal from customers' s out of frustration.

Steal from customers how? You can’t debit a customer just like that without the system being aware. Try and be asking your banker friends questions before throwing out assumptions

Hello Guys,

I'm throwing this question to you because it's very important. Every time I ask, "how is Nairaland?" I'm told that it is fine. If I ask what are the challenges I'm told there are none.

So I need to talk to you guys directly about what you think is going on and what you want us to do. I have not had the confidence to make major changes on Nairaland. I have a little confidence now because of AI.

What are your complaints, your challenges, your issues. What are the things that can drive people away and need to be nipped?

Speak your mind, but don't be rude. Thanks.

You’re the owner of a site Mr Seun. If your employees tell you it is fine you yourself will you not check it out as the founder?

Why are you talking like this? Even when people suggest to you the problems which you know very well you keep asking as if you’re actually interested in fixing it. For example do you want to pretend as if you don’t know that people have complained many times about putting an oath on Muslim threads and non for Christian threads? Do you know the religious bias in that?

You already know what to do. If you want to do it, do so …if you don’t want that is your own.

Good afternoon.
