U dey use ur money phuck Ashawo that's why.
You lack vision. You lack wisdom.
Many people are even praying to have such jobs, so they can save and establish themselves for life. Check yourself very well. You're your problem.

We've seen private sch teachers earning far lower than you but doing tangible stuffs with what they earn.
If you think it's all about how much u earn, then you're foolish and unwise.

The bank you're working Must sack you now cos they don't deserve to have people like you as their staff. Na ur type dey steal bank customers money from their s.
na so una dey open mouth pwahhhh talk anyhow. How much to eat 3 square meal in Nigeria now. How much is cost of transportation? How much is fuel?

O ga o. I am perplexed with this story. With WAEC's new exam papers unleashed this month, teachers will be more valued in Nigeria now. Cool.

Ask him his voting pattern for that 16 years?

The normal idiotic angle to every argument.

Seize the opportunity of this good Friday to reflect on how stupid you have been all these while.

If speaking out like this with valuable information is your own definition of speaking out then, there must be a new definition of stupidity. Perhaps, you are the poster boy.

Na so. I used to say on this forum that Nigerians generally cannot relate their electoral choices to their democratic experiences. These days I simply don't bother.

Contract staff everywhere
what's wrong with being a contract staff, if they are being treated well like human being and not using them as slaves and eventually dumping them whenever they wish

You worked and get paid for 16 years
If you do not have anything to show for the salary you collected, how is it the fault of the bank.
Untill you acknowledge that you have not utilized your resources well and change your ways, your situation will remain the same
In the bank where you work there are wealth creation vehicles, e.g treasury bills, bonds, fixed deposit, eurobond, stock brokerage, yet you will utilise any of them.
Think inwards young man

you want to tell me that you never see fat and fresh beggars, security, gateman before. What does being fat has to do with someone suffering and going through ordeals. Being fat is your hereditary and DNA, it has nothing do with being enjoying. As Nigerians are suffering now, are there still no more fat people again in the country.

Really, o....

Also, what's his marriage like, if he's married?

Good financial synergy between husband and wife makes for the homes financial progress.

I've not had the kinda salary a banker earns, and I've been unemployed a total of over 2 years in my career, yet we have built a house, used cars, put kids in good schools.

The only thing I want to do now that I've been unable to is take my babe out of the country on holiday.

She deserves it, so we'll do that.

Glimpsetv:
In a trending video, a Nigerian banker has opened up about his frustrations with working in the banking sector.

The man revealed that he has been employed in a commercial bank for 16 years, yet has nothing tangible to show for all his years of service.

Expressing his disappointment, he said: “I’m not too happy because it feels like I’ve been used for the past 16 years. I’ve been doing my work diligently — look at the time I’m leaving for work now, as usual. It’s as if I’ve been used all these years and there's nothing to show for it.”

He went on to advise parents whose children may be considering a career in commercial banking to think carefully, stressing that working in Nigerian commercial banks is not for the faint-hearted, especially for junior staff. “They will suck you like an orange — suck you dry and then throw you away,” he lamented.

While acknowledging that some people are thriving in the commercial banking sector, he claimed that such individuals often have powerful connections. “It’s those who know the right people that are making it big,” he added.

In an attempt to console himself, he expressed hope for a better future. “But I know that as today marks my sixteenth year in the bank, God will show me favor — I’m confident of that,” he declared.

He concluded by saying that if anyone could help him secure a new job, he would gladly leave the banking industry, emphasizing that he’s not ready to die working in a commercial bank.

In a very funny twist, while trying to round off his speech, something amusing happened. Being the early hours of the morning, as he walked along the road, chickens nearby began making their usual morning noises, interrupting his recording. In a hilarious moment, he commanded the chickens to stop making noise, speaking in Yoruba dialect.

His lamentation has since drawn mixed reactions across various social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X (formerly known as Twitter).

As someone who has spent almost that same time as a full time staff graduate in a financial institution, I won't say he is wrong. Because we are in the same shoes.

That's the similar story with almost everyone in Nigeria o. Mine pained me Sha. Just when my income increased by 600% and I was happy that my profession has finally paid off after many years, then Mr. Oloriburuku's inflation brought me back to ten years ago with his outrageous inflation policies. Now I'm back to square one cool

That's the fact. Even when your income has quadrupled in the past five years, you are struggling to acquire what you can easily buy with far less income just five years ago. In every thing we thank God, but truth be told, the inflation is really frustrating everyone.
