It won't remove anything from him to represent the budget.
Even the president in all his powers goes to the National assembly for even the least amount to be spent for proper appropriation.
But I know the conflictpreneurs will tell him not to do it.
He should he will dance alone when it gets hotter and not even one pipeline will be burst by anybody .
Fubara is willing to do that.

Why give him 48 hours?

These people think that a notice of impeachment/ impeachment proceedings equates to an actual impeachment..

There are 3 parties involved in the process;;

The Governor himself.
The House of Assembly.
The Chief Justice.

It's a cumbersome procedure.

They are just one party..

There has hardly been any successful impeachment in this country that the courts did not declare illegal.

Make dem come impeach make we see!

Nothing like that ever happened. Wike never presented any budget to 7 house of Assembly . That was just a fake concocted news. Show me proof he did that, send ur aza, and I will send u N100k now.

If he ever tried it, Amaechi who was the Minister of Transport then would have taken him out.

Amaechi taken him out?

Under the same aloof and incompetent Buhari??

If Buhari was like Tinubu you think Wike would have survived?

Surely I will cross check the 7 man assembly issue.

See this one!

Anything is better than twerking on that Lagos man's feeble c0rk.

Shameless people...

The issue is not whether some judgements favour one side today and don't tomorrow.

The fact is that any Supreme Court which has the capacity to favour different interests would always favour the ruling party 99 percent of the time.

That's they truth you people always try to hide with this comment "if it favours you today, if it doesn't favour you tomorrow" bla bla

People like you are the problem of our great country. You sound intelligent but just chose to be stupidly emotional. There are rules Oga. You can't just wake up and conduct an election any day and anytime you like simply because you're governor. There are conditions that must be met before an election in this country would be seen as valid. I can't start stating all the conditions that must be met here but the law requires that 90 days notice must be given which the dictatorial governor didn't care to give. The Rivers state Electoral commission cannot conduct an election without an updated voters and that can only be provided by INEC. But your dictator of a governor went ahead to conduct an election without obtaining that from INEC.

The man just wasted taxpayers money, and if this were to be the US he would have been impeached.

The fact that he cannot be arrested right now is because he has immunity provided by the law and the security agencies are law abiding unlike him who doesn't give a damn about the law. The man enjoys the law but disregards it with impunity.

I don't have time to engage this morning.

But I tell you, the elections were conducted in the same way and with the same time frame in over 20 states.
Let's see if the Supreme Court will annul Benue, Kano and other places.

And if you say that the 90 days was not met, then it's clear you were not following.
90 days was met, I challenge you to investigate.
The voters that was used was given to up to 20 other states, INEC did not do any updates recently.

All these reasons you are stating we're not mentioned by the Supreme Court.
The major reason given was that Voters registration was going on at the same time with something else I've forgotten.

That flimsy reason can never be used to nullify the LGA of any APC state, I bet you.
ddippset(m): 9:55am On Mar 02
That's all the reason why Wike is selling PDP to Tinubu and twerking for Tinubu in the first place.

So he can have that Federal might and favour from Aso Rock.

And we have seen it all through this struggle.

Police, Abuja courts and even Tinubu himself..

My candid advice to Fubara..

1. Pursue the defection case at the Federal high Court.
Let it go all the way to the Supreme Court.
We want to hear our Supreme Court use their mouths and tell us that Martin Amaehule and the 27 did not defect.
Let them tell the world that, for posterity sake.
Let them stop hiding behind other related cases.
Le there be a categorical judgement on the matter.

2. While he's at it, let him represent the 2025 budget to the state assembly led by Amaehule. There is absolutely no shame in that,
It is the Supreme Court's order, not Wike's order nor Amaehule's order.
They will definitely try to frustrate and embarrass him at the house but he must not bend over and take it in the asss. He must stand his ground.
As long as the CJ Simeon Amadi is with him, he can never be impeached before 2027. He must keep the CJ with him.

3. Set the process of repeating the LGA elections. He has the RISIEC and for his effort the last 2 years, he has the majority of the people.
You just need to be on the streets and listen to local radio and TV stations to see that majority of Rivers people are currently simplified.
His people will win again!

4. Govern like that without giving a fuc. if Martin and his people want the state to move forward fine, if not fine.
He will still collect his salary and entitlements.

The majority of the people who actually fought for his election from the primary stage have all resigned.
His current godfathers all rejected him in the primary stage.
He was imposed on the party. Suddenly, those who opposed his
candidacy during primary have become his pillar.

And they will switch allegiance again after he foolishly dig his own grave.
That is the nature of politics that Fubara don't understand.
So after fighting for him he should be giving them a cut from Rivers resources for 8 years abi?

Afterall agreement is agreement abi?

So if they demand for example 60 percent of Rivers allocation he should give them abi??

Because they fought for him na.

You talk like Supreme Court or any other court in the world especially Africa is infallible or cannot be bought!

Guy wise up, or maybe I should say be more sincere..

Court s have interests from time to time.

At the time, the Supreme Court validated Fubara's election, could that have done otherwise and put in Amaechi's friend Tonye Cole?

At Friday's ruling, even if they reinstated Amaehule, are you seriously telling me they had a good reason to remove those LGA chairmen?
The same Supreme Court that eagerly strikes out more obvious case?

A lot of u are uneducated and uninformed.

The Nigerian constitution makes it expressly clear that nobody including the President has the right to spend a dime that belongs to the people without appropriation. The legislative arm of government must a lawful legal budget b4 u as a governor or President will have the statutory right to spend it. Without it, u have committed the worst offense and every money u spend that is not appropriated for is illegal and you must pay it back to the government. The court simply says you cannot continue spending government money without appropriation, go back and represent the budget to the legally constituted & recognised house, b4 u will be able to spent government money. Without that, no money will be released to u.

How is this difficult for anyone to understand and u here whipping stupid sentiments.
Again tell us how this is different from Wike spending money with the approval of 7 in 2015.

Before you carry on with these tainted sermons.

Tinubu was not spending Lagos State money without appropriation. He had his budget duly ed into law, therefore he has the statutory right to receive his allocation. Fubara does not have a budget, therefore he is not eligible to spend government money. Every money he has spent belonging to Rivers people since he assumed office till date is illegal in the eye of the law because it was not appropriated for. There is no Executive in the history of Nigeria that has spent government money without appropriation. Fubara is the 1st to be spending government money illegally, and it is a serious impeachable offense. Even the Judges cannot touch government money that has not been appropriated to them.

ing this is a simple call to anarchy and abandoning of our democracy.
Fubara spent money with the approval of 4 .

Wike once spent money with the approval of 7 ..

Pls tell us the difference before you begin these tales of hypocrisy and dishonesty..

Except, in court there was no proof the defected just affidavit, anyone can get those, besides even if they did, the governor can't remove them, they are not commissioners, they were elected just like him.

Falling out with 27, out of 31 Lawmakers is a failure of its own.
There was no falling out actually..

One ex governor used state resources to buy forms for all 27 assembly and also did everything to put them in those seats...

So they feel they owe him a duty to lay their lives for him, even if it is to the detriment of the state.

Common it's only about 2 years ago, we ,,

How can a governor be using only four of HOA to run the state, budget and other bills, and ostracize the other 27 elected ?
It is not right
We can’t be letting impunity have its way all the time
The Governor is the one who should reconsider his position
Ironically the same ex governor who is the mastermind of all these once upon a time used 6 or 7 assembly to a budget.

He was part of Amaechi's "structure"

The same structure that Wike has mistakended for his father's personal property today .

But as soon as food finished from Amaechi's table, he ran over to Wike and made Wike his personal jesus.

No sir. Mere verbal announcement during a plenary session doesn't make a law.
If we are to go by the above logic to positioned here, it is safe to say that a governor can be impeached by mere oral declaration in a plenary too.
Please let's not mix emotions and facts.

There are laid down rules and legal procedures as regards the issue of party hip. Mere open declaration in a plenary ed by court affidavit doesn't stop someone from being a member of state legislature
Secondly, it is only a competent court of law that can declare a seat vacant, not speaker of the house
I am not talking about a decision at plenary binding on a third party..
I am talking about a decision about themselves.
A decision taken at plenary is a proper evidence of defection,, that's in a country of course,,, not in a zoo.

On the second part you are wrong as wrong can be!

It's clear in the constitution,, THE SPEAKER IS THE ONE WHO DECLARES A SEAT VACANT, NOT THE COURTS.

It is now left to the defector to approach the courts and argue that they had a valid reason for defection and get an order maintaining status quo.

If he succeeds he remains in the house until the case is exhausted...
