@Chriswazo if you don't mind sharing, which incoming health insurance did you use?

@Chriswazo so, how long from when you submitted your Proof of incoming health insurance did it take for DHL to pick up your port and other documents? And how long did it also take for DHL to deliver it.

I see you already updated your location to Europe grin

My first submission got lost at the embassy, I don't know y but the DHL delivered it and sent me proof of delivery.

After some weeks, d embassy called that they were yet to get what d requested for so I had no option but resend it to them and the port came in within 1 week.

Are you expected to summit travel insurance on the day of your interview…or you wait till you are asked to??
Urgent response pls🙏🏽

From recent experience, pls if you are sure you have all the documents required gor your interview, please also go with your Health Insurance to your interview for a seamless visa and port retrieval.

Good Morning, i got a mail from the embassy yesterday afternoon requesting for an incoming health insurance and proof of registration (to the university). is this indicative of a visa approval ? Because I often read that a request for an incoming health insurance signifies a positive outcome. How true is this please?

U have been approved. Willkommen in Deutschland.

Totally thankful to God that a journey of 28 months have ended in praise with my visa in my hands! 🙏

1. Appointment booked: Nov 6, 2022

2. ission to TUM: Jul 13, 2023

3. Thought about deferring but then TUM introduced tuition fees after my set, deferring meant I'd the next set to pay tuition. So, I maintained by ission by paying semester fees for 4 semesters (I almost gave up at semester 3 but God encouraged me)

4. AD came: Dec 19, 2024 (I already forgot I was waiting for AD 😂)

5. First interview: Jan, 21 2025 Was unprepared, asked to bring enrollment certificate for next semester (VO said it was an exception, I would have been sent home to start afresh)

6. Second interview: Feb 25, 2025 Completed interview, asked to submit extra documents

7. VISUM APPROVED: March 11, 2025!

It was a long 28 months of patience and trusting God's will and in the end it was worth it! Yours is the next!

Congrats

How did you submit the extra documents and may I know what these documents were?

INTERVIEW TRANSCRIPT.

I arrived at the embassy at 5:40am for my interview, even though my appointment was scheduled for 8:00am.

Upon entry, we were instructed to arrange our documents in a specific order (Please listen to this ATTENTIVELY because people were sent back to the start by Mr Paulinus alot of times as regards this).
After document arrangements, the popular Mr Paulinus stand was next; had a seamless interaction with him (seems he was in a very good mood🙂) and i was the 2nd person to be sent into the embassy.

At the VO’s Office(Inner Chambers)
Entered the inner chambers at about past 7am

Questions:
1. What did you apply for?
2. What program are you going for? She asked this question repeatedly
3. Why , why not the US?
4. Why do you want to study this course?
5. What’s your means of subsistence?
6. Do you know anyone is ?
7. Where do you work?

I was given 10 questions in total in Economics and Mathematics.

Economics Questions:
1. What is opportunity cost
2. Difference between demand and quantity demanded
3. State the factors of production
4. What is GDP and how is it measured
5. Explain market equilibrium

Mathematics Questions:
1. One apple costs $15, if I want to get 4 apples, how much will it cost ?
2. I have 50 oranges, if I take away 23, how many is left ?
3. If I drive for 60km in 1hour, how many km will I drive for in 2.5hours?

The visa application fee remains ₦118,500.

I completed the entire process at the embassy by 8:07am.

Congrats dear

And I'm also not going empty handed. I'm going with a print out of my profile showing that the money is in the and all necessary documents.

U can print your Fintiba statement of , if has reflected there.

Secondly, Fintiba might ask u for source of funds

You can pay with card too. They have POS that will be brought in during the interview. Just make sure you have the naira equivalent for the visa fee of 75 Euro.

Ok, thank you
Chriswazo(m): 12:16pm On Feb 24
People that have gone for interview?

Does the VO have a POS for payment of the visa fees? Or u would be forced to do it outside the gate.

If one does not have cash. Hope is not an issue?

Hello everyone, my brother has just been given appointment by the embassy for next month but the problem here is he doesn’t have an ission letter. He applied to four schools but was rejected. please I need advice on what can be done?

1. Can he apply to private university and get ission within a month? If yes, can you suggest some private uni to me?

2. How possible is it to transfer from private university in to public university considering the fact he might struggle in paying the school fees?

3. Can he write the embassy to reschedule the appointment to another date?

Pls I would appreciate all responses

1) He can get ission and be enrolled within 10 days in Private uni

2) it is possible but I understand their study contracts are a pin in ass for the move.

Am looking forward to hearing about who changed from private Uni to public

3) I will advise u to exhaust your options and if is not possible, then you can go this route. If u cancel and the refused to reschedule u nko

Hello Guys,
I jst received a mail stating my interview appointment is slated for 25th of next month. I'm required to be there with an ission letter but I have not secured an ission yet.
I wasn't itted to the ones I applied to in the past and I haven't been applying for a while now since I last read on this thread it takes 26 months to get an interview date.
I applied for interview June 2023. So it has only been 20 months, and I was planning to start application this month ahead of then.

Due to this short time frame, I'm planning to reschedule since I am not really sure I could secure an ission before then and I also don't have any idea how to go about it. And pls what excuse do you think is proper in my situation?

I really need this, I'll appreciate any response regarding my situation, Thanks!

If u have money is non problem, just go to private uni
Chriswazo(m): 2:40pm On Feb 20
Anyone gone for interview with private Uni? What was your experience especially concerning the blocking and tuition fees?
Chriswazo(m): 11:19am On Feb 20
You people will soon start abusing the reschedule, is a privilege o. They can't decline your request for reschedule if they don't feel satisfied with your reasons

Hey guys, please I'm curious

After all the submission, interview and approval mail, do they send your port stamped with the visa along with your documents using the prepaid courier envelope or they just send your original documents and you will wait for a mail from the consulate to come and collect your port on a certain date?

Everything is sent back in the prepaid envelope

I got to the consulate pretty early, around 6. Paulinius hadn’t started his shenanigans (He made a lady cry though). I went through the gate and was answered to first because I had printed out the checklist from the website, so everyone pretty much used my checklist. The arrangement was the original and one photocopy, you arrange the originals and the photocopies separately according to the checklist of the diplo site.

I think the person that conducted my interview was a newbie, she was laughing and smiling all through, a young lady.

She asked
1. Date of resumption
2. Uni and course
3. How I got ission to the course, because I was coming in from another field and the course is extremely competitive.
4. Definition of my course
5. Why did I pick

Then all to my surprise, I was given an intensive written test, printed out, theory and German. Basic IT questions like the function of an operating system, different types of computer networks and also math questions. The whole interview took almost 1 hour 30 mins.

The lady was extremely friendly which helped a lot. She told me the processing was going to take about 10-15 working days.

Please which program are you going for? This test wey i hear now
