Please, is there any age limit that someone will get to, and it’ll reduce the chances of him or her getting a visa as an undergraduate. Like, someone going for a second degree.
|
WpressBeginner: 3:07pm On Mar 02 |
Generalmac: Not at all, as long as u av a good reasons i mean reasonable reason for going for another bsc with proof |
WpressBeginner: 3:16pm On Mar 02 |
Some bsc courses are like continuation of some people's career....sometimes it not abt the degree, it's about the course

Hannania: Is it possible that the Embassy didn't give date last week? |
VicUkegbu(m): 5:16pm On Mar 02 |
Hi everyone. I am trying to book an appointment on the German consulate website and part of the requirement is a birth certificate. I don't have a birth certificate just an affidavit. Please how do I navigate this?

VicUkegbu(m): 5:23pm On Mar 02 |
Chaigogo22: Please when you mean backed by your parent, does it also entail attaching their ID to it? |
profsomebody(m): 8:18pm On Mar 02 |
They won't let me book an appointment for the opportunity card with my study visa application active.
Hannania: |
Hannania(m): 8:19pm On Mar 02 |
profsomebody:Then just wait for the study visa |
profsomebody(m): 8:45pm On Mar 02 |
I hate to be a bother, but please does this imply that the opportunity card isn't quite as promising as the study route? I'm just confused because 1 year + is a long time, and I also don't want to jump into opportunity card because of it's faster timeline only to see it's not worth it.

profsomebody:If you don't get a job after one year, you're to comeback to Nigeria. So if you don't know German and you don't have experience, your chances of landing a role is slim. So think about this because you choose the opportunity card |

Pls did they give anyone appointment this weekend?
|
profsomebody(m): 11:19am On Mar 03 |
Thank you! I had thought about this but imagined I could also apply for studies while there to buy more time in the event I need to buy time. I believe appointments won't take a year plus over there, right?

I have just received my blocking confirmation from Fintiba and I noticed that it says €11,209 instead of the €11,904 that I transferred. Is this the same for those who used fintiba or is this an anomaly?
|
Hannania(m): 1:46pm On Mar 03 |
profsomebody:No it won't. its a matter of weeks. You basically work in to submit your application for visa change of status if you have everything ready. This is depending on your city though |

Please for student visa what kind of travel insurance is advisable to use? Can anyone advice please
|
Juggernauts: 4:58pm On Mar 03 |
Hi Guys, Please I just received my funds in my Fintiba but I don't have the blocking confirmation yet. Because I am from Nigeria (a high risk country), they asked me to some documents for verification, which I have done but the verification process will take two weeks. Can I please go with the print out of my profile since it carries my balance in Fintiba. |
jawslyon: 5:25pm On Mar 03 |
Don't yet print, wait for blocking confirmation. It is the confirmation they want at the embassy. It will not take up to 2 weeks mostly 2 days. You will probably get the confirmation by Thursday give or take if your documents es their checks. Juggernauts: |

WpressBeginner: They are right. That's the best advice you can get cause if you go there with incomplete documents, they will send you back. But hopefully it can happen that Fintiba can send it this night around that 2 am. Just make sure to keep your eyes on your email for updates. |
Juggernauts: 7:09pm On Mar 03 |
Thank you guys. But isn't it too late to postpone my appointment? And I'm also not going empty handed. I'm going with a print out of my profile showing that the money is in the and all necessary documents. |
Freebys: 7:44pm On Mar 03 |
