This same welfare issue is also affecting ifeanyi ubah fc. So what really is the root problem with our local league?
Let me cite some here, not all encoming and fully proved, but it can serve as a lead.
1. Coverage: some will say SuperSport is already on ground but understand that before an army can fully defeat the enemy, the ground force must be employed. Air raid is not sufficient enough with this. Yes we have started well by airing it but it is time to go local. How can we employ the local Force? Make it lucrative. This brings me to the second point which is: er base
2. base: the holy Grail here is have paid ers and hip club. Use the information technology to the advantage. Turn tribal sentiments to money making venture. You may ask how? Now look at nnamdi kanu's ipob revolution. Do you realize people pay hip dues just to flame their ego that they are part of the movement? You see, instead of this chealsea and arsenal rift, let it be aba boys against ijebu boys. Trust me, football will be more fun if this achieved. It is now a matter of pride.
3. Business module: create a module where people can be really entertained. Invite popular artist like Wizkid and Davido once a while to open games. Look at the Superbowl. You see, people can start going out for date as viewers of our local games. The opportunity is massive. Now ask yourself, is there a game for this coming valentine? A local game to capture a lot of couples that are lovers of football.
4. Investment: This is the cream. Imagine dangote managing kano pillars and elumelu managing rivers United? Yes, I tell. It will be all about money and ego. Their trains will bet against each other. We are talking about millions of dollars of bet here. When such atmosphere is created, trust me, the players will never lack. Bonuses will be flying thru the air.
5. Upgraded facility: We need this facilities so ticketing will be worth it. But big screen in the stadiums, so big companies can on it. Sign a deal with a pop corn and pizza company so every ticket purchase will go with these appetizers.
You see, if we do these things, opportunities will be created, and jobs as well.
A greater Nigeria I envision.
Don't mind the typographical errors
Your points are highly valid and in order.
Sense too much for your head.

Great write up Bro. God bless your effort.
However, let me just drop this:
If you're married, just sit down your wife and have Frank conversations on how to improve the family and the future together and let her come up with buzz she can handle very well and progress despite any odds and challenges.
You too come up with ideas and business you wish to do that can have your wife to manage it. Come up with business ideas and two of you decide which is better option and it becomes a child/ambitions of you both to nuture to maturity.
As a man, you'll come in once a while to do some strategic thinking and some backup areas her strength might not carry but stick to your monthly income if it still pay the Bill's very well until both of you can afford to face the business 100%.
One thing that men suffers most times is to be hiding their finances or not communicating very well with their wives to know the importance of commitment and sacrifice.
Let her know that both of you must sacrifice to make the relationship last long, the business work fine and the children grow in peaceful family. Then help her to wave away some bad friends or ASSOCIATION through diplomatic ways till she realised you're all about her, her progress in life and the better future for both of you.
I bet you, once a woman is committed to you and realised you are very straight and strategic with her and always planning for the future, she will do her best to make sure she managed the business very well.
In conclusion, empowered your wife to a business woman or manage family business while you continue monthly earning but let the business process, managements, profits and others be well written out and be separated from day to day family expenses.
Thanks.

You see these words "my ex is not my enemy " has destroyed so many marriage and relationship.
Exes are biggest threat to every relationship and marriage, yes they are not your enemy but they are something one needs to avoid then if you two meets by chance then you can greet ,gist and walk away.
Many women with such mentality "my ex is not my enemy "therefore I want to go to his place and invite him to my wedding, from there" can I get a last hug?
That was how they ended up in bed, from ordinary hug it turned to kissing, this is how many married woman got pregnant for their exes.
Many will be saying that they are matured spiritually to handle such, but forgot what the Bible said in 1 Corinthians 10:12 ...
Men on the other hand usually have the same mentality too, she is just a friend this and that...they forgot most times we fall in love with someone you didn't intend falling in love with by simply spending time with them, it may start as casual friends ,colleague e.t. c by spending time together you start seeing the beautiful qualities of the person that you don't know, from there intimate feeling can start building up.
When you are in a relationship/marriage you should respect your spouse feelings, and stop all this "we are just friends.
Yes that you are married or in a relationship doesn't mean you aren't allowed to make friends but know your limits..
Have this in mind

Lol... This reminds me of a story about a church that asked all widows to come to the church podium so that the church will pray for them, afterwhich they will be handed palliatives. A woman whose husband was still alive came out.
Her husband seeing her standing out with widows in shock asked her:
"Agnes, ibu nwanyi isi nkpe? (are you a widow"?).
And she replied, "ihe a idi obu ndu? (Is it life that you are living?)".
Something similar happened at widows cot#Nollywood.

Hello guys,
I ed Nairaland last week to contribute to the discussion about Shell Nigeria recruitment. I noticed there was some controversy about posting the questions that were asked. I'd like to suggest that discussion pertaining to company's recruitment as this one be done on a secured platform that cannot be assessed by everyone. I'd think there can be some secret groups in Nairaland? Everything discussed here is accessible worldwide, and that may be sufficient grounds to nullify the Nigeria recruitment.
That being said, the test this year was ultra-simple: it was addition, subtraction, series, for the numerical part; things about words and associations for the verbal part and simple patterns for the abstract reasoning. There was nothing bogus. I think the personality cognitive test (I don't know what it's called again) is the area that there is more emphasis on. Someone said the time was short. It was sufficient. But I think the surprise due to the simplicity of the questions can knock one out.
I was told that I did not go through, and quite frankly, I do not know what the company is looking for. And I don't care. If we are not compatible, why marry?
From my experience, therefore, give it your best shot and do it, but do not be too expectant. Be mindful that the turnover in the oil companies is high, and when you do get in, job security becomes an issue. I have seen cases where Shell fires very bright and promising staff. What is the criterion for firing? In fact, what is the criterion for hiring anyway? I'd encourage everyone to look at jobs in other sectors, and get the training necessary. It may be about ion when we just graduate, but find something to survive and build ion by doing it. If you can't build ion, at least have a foundation to build the career you desire. Look beyond Nigeria. There are other countries in Africa that may need skilled or trainable workers. Take the advantage.
I sincerely wish you guys the best. I've been looking for a job for some time now, and I know it can be demoralizing. Please do not lose hope. Keep preparing. When the time is right, it will click for each one of us. Shell is a great company, and so is Total, Exxon, Chevron, Access Bank, Google, P and G, Civil Service, etc.
Well said .
Best!

Please people of God, i want to learn the word everyday but am finding difficulty with it. For instance, is it like i will just open the bible and begin to read any book and chapter i see first? Or should i use devotional? Please help me grow spiritually ooo. Tanx
you can look for daily bible reading plan (a year ,2years reading plan etc)and use it.
You can also start your reading from the book Of GENESIS.
