I won't deceive you it's not easy to stop gambling addiction or any form of addiction once but rather you can replace it with another to take your mind away from gambling.

1. Change your friends, especially those who bet or play virtual games like you avoid them for they are the real enemy.

2. Avoid certain location or shops, they are several POS outlets, it's a not a must you go to the one nearby or close to betting shop. Take your mind and soul far from the betking shop close to u.

3. Don't be greedy, you want to double your money by chance, trust me I have been there the end doesn't really goes as planned. Always know there's no shortcut to making money, and they are there to collect from you and with no intention of increasing your money. Your loss is there gain, wise up.

4. Try new things like go out with friends who have sense take one or two bottle of cold beer, buy clothes for yourself na your money. Sometimes buy expensive things for yourself. Let enjoyment comes first, the money you waste on virtual can really do more good for you. Engage yourself in activities no stay one place may virtual no breed for your head. Firstly, ask for forgiveness and pray against it and ask God for help to help you overcome it. That will sort the spiritual aspect of it in case it’s has anything to do with dark spiritual forces.

Another advice I will give you is to avoid using the POS stand that is in front of the place, then tell yourself this has to stop or you reduce it drastically if you must try.

I started praying and hating the habit. But i still went out of compulsion. Its not a straight forward solution its a painstaking striving relentlessly from same place as the addiction is coming from. The heart. In other words dig deeper.

the begining is prayer. Let God be the start of your quest. The faith you can quit in the end has to be pinned on something higher than yourself since you cant trust yourself now. God is stable, is why men over time learn to faith in him.

Secondly, If you did not become an addict one day you cant quit one day. So keep going there but hate yourself each time you come out and curse yourself. Thessame way you will curse a stupid person if he wasting resources. With time your psychology will build his own resilaince. Gambling is starked on greed and desperation. its the back spirit. Be consciouse like that. You are a greedy desperate person.Tell yourslef if you are making decent earining whats the desperation for. Gradually the urge will slow down. Let me tell you, there was a time I had boil, I had gone to hospital, taken drugs... Spent over 30,000 naira but this small boil was still shiny and refuse to go. Bought various drugs some where 2500 to 3000. Taken antibiotics.

I had to go to two medical labs still saying same thing and the drugs and injection they prescribed could not do anything.

I always loose money to virtual, there's this betkiing shop opposite my street, they do other businesses like POS transactions, anytime I go there to withdraw money, I'd end up playing virtual bets.
