I was hoping I could get advice on a peculiar issue for a friend.
He has been asked to go for medicals with his 2 unaccompanying children from a previous relationship.
Children are however with their mother in another country and he is not on talking term with her.
Is there any way around it without withdrawing his application as there is no way children would be available for medical?

@op It's clear you are being emotionally and financially abused at least.Do not allow yourself to be used and frustrated to the point when you would be termed the abusive one.
Try to work things out if she is willing. If not plan your exit tactfully and carefully. Some humans are naturally unrealistic and ungrateful. Protect your resources and speak with relevant charities about the abuse you are facing.

The NHS jobs website and trac jobs should be fine.
You can also look up the websites of the hospitals in your cities of interest.

Some people have an illusion about the reality of life abroad. They assume things would just sort itself when they land abroad.
Take the op for instance. Unless it's a fairly small amount ,how do you honestly expect someone that would be working on a student visa to raise money to cover their living costs, school fees balance and then pay back a loan within the short period highlighted?
Keep in mind also this person is going to a new place without any mention of a social system.

Its not that simply , he has to complete length forms, get it signed by references, attach list of documents they will list in that form and do video interview as a form of verification, this can take as much as 3-4 months if not more

From personal experience, it took far less than that (just over a week) .
I got someone to pick it by proxy and bring to the UK.

he should come to Nigeria and write his MDCN exams being a foreign trained medical graduate.
The refresher course and exam lasts maximum 3 months. On completion of the exam he will be inducted into the Medical and Dental council of Nigeria, he can then leave after his induction for a masters starting in January.
He should sit the english exam which has a validity of 2 years, in this covid times gmc extended to 3 yrs i think.
Within the 9 months of the masters he should attempt to both plab 1 and plab 2.
At the end of his plab 1 and plab 2 with success. He wud apply for gmc registration.
As he has successfully been inducted into the mdcn, he will obtain a certificate of good standing from them which the GMC will need to him.
Once gmc certified, he can start applyin for jobs on nhs site- his options will be limited to fy1 if he has not done his housejob

I had the impression that he would need to get into foundation programme .
To get into foundation programme(internship in uk), the doctor would need at least English test and both plabs.
The second option being suggested appears to be faster and less expensive. The doctor MDCN exams ,do internship in nigeria, write plab during internship and disappear afterwards to uk.

It's is possible for one party to bear the cost of running the home dependent on income. I would however suggest u do not go into that arrangement if u think ur girlfriend is the unive type.

I am not sure there is a special medical visa. You can get in touch with your preferred hospital in UK and they should send ing documents to apply for a visitor's visa.

It's not Nigeria where the workplace dabbles in personal matters. They will be sued. With regards settled status, I lived in UK with an expired travel visa for years and when I got arrested for driving offenses, I was provided with a solicitor through legal aid.

It depends on the kind of jobs. For jobs that involve working with vulnerable people there is little distinction between personal or work life. When he was arrested he would have been offered a solicitor before giving his statement but this does not extend to court hearings.
This guy is in deep shit. He is staring at a possible criminal conviction and even been placed on sex offender . The trouble has not even started yet for him. He would need to clear his name if he is innocent. No point running when you are innocent.
