Today, I celebrate symbol of good governance himself, an exceptional leader, a visionary reformer, Awolowo of our time and a true patriot, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as he marks his 68th birthday.

Your unwavering commitment to public service, your bold reforms in education, infrastructure, and security, and your grassroots connection with the people have left an indelible mark in the history of Osun State and Nigeria at large.

As Governor, you brought innovation, ion, and a people-centered approach to governance. As Minister of Interior, your tenure was marked by bold steps towards internal security reforms and improved national identity management. You have always stood as a voice for the people, fearless, principled, and pragmatic.

We're enjoyed not to give out what we cannot consume.

Allah knows our intention so there's no need of giving out the dead animal as gift again
chillychill:
What if the ram died (we all know it's haram to consume dat kind of meat)but can we giv it out, will one get a reward for charity or is it a sin?
TheNiceGuy(m): 6:32am On May 24
Allahumma aameen

Point of correction Wednesday (28) or Thursday (29th) Gregorian calendar

JazzakaLlahu khaera
Lukgaf:
By the counting of the NSCIA, today is the 25th of Dhul-Qa’dah. This means the sacred month of Dhul-Hijjah—the final month of the Islamic calendar—will begin either this Monday (28th) or Tuesday (29th).

With its arrival comes the most spiritually rich days of the entire year—the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.

Let this sink in for a moment:

These days are more beloved to Allah than even the days of the last ten of Ramadan.
Yes, those blessed days and nights you strove so hard in—these ten days are even greater in reward.

Ibn ‘Abbas reported that the Prophet ï·ș said:

“There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.”
The companions asked, “Not even Jihad?”
He replied, “Not even Jihad in the path of Allah, except a man who goes out with his life and wealth and returns with neither.”
(Narrated by al-Daarimi)

What kind of days could be so immense that not even Jihad matches their reward?

These are days filled with mercy, with light, with opportunity. They are gates opened to Jannah, waiting for the faithful to walk through.

If you’re not among the pilgrims, don’t feel left out. Allah has gifted you ways to earn immense reward right where you are:
Fasting
The Prophet ï·ș used to fast the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah, especially the 9th—The Day of ‘Arafah, which wipes out sins of the previous year and the coming one.
Can you imagine? Two whole years of sins forgiven for one sincere fast.

Dhikr
Revive your heart with remembrance:

Allahu Akbar

Alhamdulillah

La ilaaha illAllah

SubhaanAllah
Say it often. Say it with love. Say it out loud (for men), and softly (for women). Let your home, your commute, and your heart echo with it.

Repentance
These are days to clean your slate. Turn to Allah and say, “O Allah, I return to You. I regret my sins, I seek Your mercy.”
He is waiting for you. Don’t delay.

Udhiyah (Sacrifice)
Offer a strong, healthy animal in gratitude and love. Not the blood or the meat, but your taqwa (consciousness of Allah) will rise to the heavens.
As Allah says:

“Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is your piety...” (Surah Al-Hajj 22:37)

Let’s not waste this gift.
These days are not ordinary days. You may not live to witness them again. Make them count.

May Allah grant us sincerity, strength, and the ability to fill these days with fasting, dhikr, charity, repentance, and sacrifice. May He write us among those whom He loves and forgives.
Ameen.

I'm done with you.

I can't help your level of understanding
Christistruth02:

it is the pure Truth
Sharia was used to turn Hausas into tenants in their own Homeland

Why did the Sharia system conclude that Hausas were not good enough to be emirs in their own homeland even after 200 years

Just Think about it

200 years!!

is there equity or justice in that system ?

Why then are you crying over an inconsequential politician grin

This is very low.

This is crude ignorance. Shari'ah is Islamic jurisprudence, got nothing to do with Usman Dan Fodio.

As he wrote books on Shari'ah so we have thousands of Yoruba Islamic scholars that did.

Whatever anyone will write, it'll only be according to what has already been explained and prescribed in the Quran as Shari'ah law.

Stop being so assertive on what you don't understand. Take heed.
Shari'ah got nothing to do with any emirate
Christistruth02:

So you didn’t know that Usman Dan Fodio was a Sharia Scholar,
who even wrote books on Islamic Jurisprudence and enforced it ?

Please get real!!

Wallade:

Call us whatever, we will not have Sharia law down in the South West.

Where was it operational or existing in 1999? I assume you were not even born then.
TheNiceGuy(m): 8:57am On Feb 04
Apologies.

Engaging or responding to you was a waste of time

I made mistake responding to you
Bluffly:

In existense or not, we do not want it institutionalise. The Saudi you are referring to has 20-39% domestic violence, Rape case not less than 30%. There is prevalent human smuggling and trafficking, We do not want extremisim.

So a particular religion wants a secular goverment to fund their religious court. That has been an height of irresponsibility, and will. not come here
TheNiceGuy(m): 6:40am On Feb 04
Understand what we're clamouring for. .

The Shari'ah we are clamouring for in Yorubaland which we are going to get insha'Allah is Shari'ah Court in nooks and crannies of Yorubaland where civil matters that concerns Muslim will be solved.

This is democracy, the North is not practicing full Shari'ah and nowhere in Nigeria can do that because it's not an Islamic country.

If you don't want to see all the vices you're talking about again, then ask them to implement total Shari'ah.

Saudi Arabia is practicing full scale Shari'ah, you heard anything as such? Are they not living better than us?

So stop attacking what you do understand, it's a show of illiteracy.

There's been Shari'ah in Yorubaland since 1999, Lagos, Oyo, Osun and recently Ekiti where civil matters are being solved. Instead of sitting in masjid to continue solving them, we need Court building.

If not intolerance and crude ignorance, why then are you wailing endlessly on what's already in existence?
Bluffly:

Show us the original Muslims in the North where they are taking drugs recklessly, lack family values, politicians steal with reckless abandonment, gross stealing, Kidnapping, hooliganism, and rapping. Please excuse us
TheNiceGuy(m): 6:32am On Feb 04
Don't be an educated illiterate.

Shari'ah got nothing to do with Hausa or Fulani. Why the crude ignorance from you all angry

He's an Igbo man, not Muslim or Yoruba.

He's saying what's totally different from what we're clamouring for.
He's doing that just to dent the image of the Shari'ah.

Check his previous posts
Raf4:

All those things you listed aren't crimes. It's part of our culture. Now that you're saying people shouldn't drink beer because it's very close to the mosque etc is clearly showing your level of intolerance. We cannot eradicate our culture and other religions because you want to practise arabs culture. You're free to move to wherever they practise your sharia, from Zamfara to Kano, sambisa or even Afghanistan or Somalia.
When you're in Rome you behave like Romans and not that you impose your culture on Romans.
Godfullsam:

Are these what you called oppression? So people should not live their lives the way they want because of your religion?
What is your problem with people's life style? As far as no body is stopping you from worshipping your Allah, you are not oppressed.

Many of you have mixed religion with idiocy, this is very unfortunate.

Funny enough, majority of you guys are hypocrites.
TheNiceGuy(m): 6:28am On Feb 04
Please don't take this person seriously, he's an Igbo man trying to deceivingly paint Muslim and the Shari'ah black.

These are one of the numerous kind of people pretending to be Muslim to dent our reputation. ..

The Shari'ah we're talking about is different from what he's saying.

This is an Igbo man pretending, check his post history

aariwa:
We see people open beer parlors few feet from a mosque, see people disrespect the name of Prophet Mohamad SWAT, see women walk past mosques with their hairs and parts of the body open, we see people steal and commit adultery but we kept quiet for fear of being tagged extremists but how long are we going to stay silent in the face of dishonor of prophet Mohamed? We need our society to be sanitized so that righteousness in the wisdom of Allah will lead us to have a better society

Exactly.

The that has been in existence in Lagos, Oyo, Osun was what was flagged to inaugurate in Oyo Town then and it was thesame that was inaugurated in Ekiti weeks back.

Gandollar:
They are suspicious about the timing. I personally don't think it's implementation would be anything close to what obtains in the north like cutting of limbs because abokii likes excesses.
