America, free health care?

Free housing?

grin

Say you know nothing about a country.

Yes
Free healthcare is called medicaid. There are millions of people under medicaid.
Free housing is called Section 6. There are millions of people under Section 6. And the government is paying their rent at market value. Not anyhow house! Theses are good apartments rented directly from real landlords for these people by the government
America is not your mate!

Which prosper?

Americans have never suffered as they are now, apart from the depression of the 1930s.

Which suffer are you talking about? A country that still give free housing, healthcare and food stamps to those that can't afford these things.
Be dreaming!

I can say categorically that except you don't want to work, there is nobody who is working that can't afford some level for comfort in America.

Apple ($3.1t) and Amazon ($2.1) are both trillion dollar companies. Except if you are talking about non-profit organizations.

Please does anyone know what is the best flooring to use in bathroom/toilet to avoid slipping when the floor is wet?

I observe that most houses in Nigeria use the regular smooth tiles and i am worried that this type of tile is an accident waiting to happen when the floor is wet especially if you have an aged that will be living in the property.

Any advise on this please?

There is tile surface finish they call RUSTIC FINISH in Nigeria. That is what most people use, even for outdoors. It is non-slip

Why can't tile gum be used exclusively as it is done in the West?

Why do our tilers insist on cement only?

Or a mix of tile gum and cement?

Gum is expensive.

Please guys I need urgent clarification on this.

Do Tilers mix Tile Adhesive with regular OPC cement and sand?

My Tiler is requesting for both and it's very expensive using both and the Tile Adhesive he showed me looks like repackaged regular cement at 2500 per 5kg.

P.S: The Tile Adhesive he is using is called IBB Super Gum (I can't find it anywhere online)

For wall tiles (not floor tiles) especially when you have bigger size tiles, it is better to use tile gum as well.

Almost natural progression for your typical immigrant. Looks like you got there pretty fast though. Firstly, desirous of any element of a good life and willing to sacrifice anything for it, including getting into immigration troubles, voting democrats, etc. Once they attain the lifestyle they have so longed for, they start to see everything wrong with where they were coming from. Sooner, they start to vote Republicans.
You find them everywhere, including in Canada where they come in through immigration and then, years later, start voting against immigration!

This statement is words on marble. So prophetic, especially with what we are seeing today.

Against as what? So they should stop writing JAMB? You guys too they rate this man abeg

He was talking about consideration for adequate safety for the kids in of travelling to and fro the exam centers. It has nothing to do with stopping JAMB. He mentioned leaving home too early as one safety risk and distance as another concern.

Where did you get "stop writing JAMB" from?

A dentist kicking door with his legs? I don't believe bro

With the benefit of doubt, even if he did kick the door, something must have prompted it. Kicking the door could be caught on camera (which favors her defense) if there was any, but what could have led to that is less likely to be caught on camera. One thing is that these people can curse, She might have let out one demeaning curse and abusive slur and slammed the door in his face. It would trigger some response, no matter how much well behaved the doctor was. The verbal exchange wont be captured in the video if it is not voice enabled.

He should have called the police on her instead of confronting her himself to avoid this touching stories. Take life very simple. Someone playing loud music will not play it so forever and you could actually take a walk if you're disturbed by it or do something else rather than tell them to lower it for you by force it could or it does cost people their life as we can see now.

I think he had an over bloated sense of importance and paid with his life... These charges are weightless and she could be out on parole after a few years.

Blaming the victim rather than the perpetuator is not a very kind way to look at the issue. It is against city ordinance to play loud music in most places. Actually, he did what any reasonable good neighbor would do. First ,attempt to address the situation among yourselves before involving a peace officer , if it is not resolved. In a place you live, it would not be nice to create that feeling of animosity by calling the cops on your neighbor on every slightest issue.

The truth of the matter is that most times, just the accent when you talk as an immigrate, irritates some of them, let alone challenging their bad actions. Add also the fact that he is a doctor and most likely lives in a better house and drives a better car which she probably sees as intimidating everyday. These alone is enough to build long resentment, which the doctor would not have been aware of.

You couldn't have said it better. My sibling just did his port and paid 70k, while the officer who did mine years back told me last month that the 5 year port is now 80k. Just imagine o. Despite everything the government put in place to stop this, they are still running their extortion schemes. Nigerians are the problem, not just the government because the government is a reflection of the populace.

Other than the chip in the new port, I don't see anything new in the process. I got my old port from New York about 10 years ago, the process was the same. Filled the form and made payment online. Only went to the office to capture and collected same day.

-Installation of WC, Wash hand basin, shower, kitchen cabinet and basin

-Installation of Tiles( Toilet and kitchen tiles)

Pls which one should come first between the two listed above?

Do the bolded first and leave the other for later. You don't want all the workers using the toilets and shower whenever they come to work. Its a brand new house, it should smell fresh as you move in.
