Greetings house. Here is a short video link to the basecoat ready mixed screeding putty application.
At N11000 per drum, cost of materials per sqm is N550 for 2 coats including transport within lagos and ogun state and it can be used for internal and external.

https://youtube.com/shorts/GkAtQSsPtQw?feature=share.

Please how sqm does 1 drum cover and how many drums will cover 420sqm (full 2 coats)?

Geo survey is to know exactly what they getting into in of depth, rock/soil type, availability of water etc, in fact it is an investigation of what is underground . Some people that have worked in a particular area in the past can make assumptions about that area but I don’t think that is the best practice.

Okay Sir...thanks for the detailed explanation..
redgem(f): 9:33am On Apr 19, 2023
Ojeniyi123:

The first thing to do is to conduct a Geo-Survey which cost 40k. Once the survey is done we can now do our interpretation and give you a quotation of how much the drilling will cost

Geo survey to know the best spot to drill? And also, you don't do the drilling yourself right?

There are standing fans that covers more areas than the ceiling fans.

At the same time? I don't think so though...

If your Palour is big, imagine installing two ceiling fans....
If it's not big, one ceiling fan will spoil the show and it wouldn't reach all corners.
Classy Chandelier, no matter how small brings out the beauty of pop.

Not thinking of using it in the parlor but in the rooms...
redgem(f): 9:31pm On Apr 13, 2023
mufutau55:

Not only the beauty of the POP, but I always think sometimes in feature the installation will be weak and then start rubbing on the POP.
So, I have always prefer the rotating standing fans to distribute the air in of the ACs. There is always a big result when you combine the ACs and fans.
My personal two cents. smiley

Hajji M.

Standing fan do not cover large areas... If the hook is installed before the pop is set, I don't think it should have any effect on the pop

I must have ceiling fan hanger, there are very beautiful ceiling fans with chandelier that would give the space that grand style of spectacular opulence. Moreover standing fan is too direct and won’t get to all directions at the same time.
Even if I end up not using the hanger for fan, a nice chandelier in that place wouldn’t hurt.

Too much lights for me 🤣🤣🤣

Choke/driver is cheap no need moving the light in and out of the ceiling.

Oshey...choke is cheap so, I should spend money for a drum of paint on chokes 😁😁😁🤧🤧🤧... Well, I have left the middle designs for now...maybe when there's spare money, will get the chokes

Hello, are there alternatives for ceiling fan hanger used in pop?

Thought I was the only one who likes ceiling fan on pop....pop guys, electrician all insisted I don't use it, since there are ac units, I should just use standing fan

Thanks for sharing with me. I’m actually not here to trade. There are some request that I cannot just overlook especially from those who wouldn’t mind reaching out to me privately. I’m happy to give back without asking for anything I return. That shouldn’t pose any threat!

The karma thing you mentioned sir is a double edged sword - good and bad. I’ve always prayed that we are all rewarded according to our deed. So, I welcome Mr. Karma wholeheartedly.

To those who are aggrieved on one way or the other, I’m sorry and I’m happy you’re all doing great without issues or challenges in your projects. That’s all that matters!

Best always!

I remain Brabus/N3xt of NextHome

Respect to you Sir... I still recall all your positive inputs you made on my project... If I may, please just settle the issue you have and let things be as they were, if not better... Won't lie, your presence to me is highly missed.. Just resolve it which is long overdue.

ing through the ceiling might look somehow to me. It means part of the strip light will be in the ceiling void .and heat might be a negative effect on it. If the areas is under the decking i.e on ground floor you can it through the ceiling . But the best practices is to have individual driver .

Thanks

Thanks Sir for your response.... It is just a bungalow no decking...

Good evening everyone... Please I need help with this.... I have something similar to this and I want to ask if I should buy a different choke or let the strip light through the ceiling and share one choke? Cos electrician is suggesting I get different choke for each box cos ing it through the ceiling consumes more tape light

I don't know what your screeder is trying to do but I know L n B is used in measuring SqM, For example, if the room is 4 metres wide, and 6 metres long, 4 x 6 = 24 square metres, that's all.

Thank you so much Sir cos my head almost exploded...

Measure all the four walls horizontally, add together, then multiply by the height of any of the four walls.

That's basically same thing as (Length x width) x Height
