Please I am seeking advice on my plans to study in the UK in the next year or two. I have a third-class degree in Computer Science Education and a PGDE (Upper Credit) but with over 8 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator. I am running a creche and preschool.

I have recently completed a Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Education. I am keen on continuing my career in this field.

I am considering pursuing another degree in Early Childhood Education to strengthen my chances for a Master's program and future job opportunities in the UK.

I have my TRCN already and I have already completed courses in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and plan to pursue a course in Special Needs Education. However, I am unsure if another degree is necessary.

Please could you advise whether obtaining a degree in Early Childhood Education with a good grade would significantly improve my chances of getting ission and securing a job in the UK, especially considering the current laws and regulations? I will appreciate guidance on the best course of action.

Thank you.

You have to consider cost of transportation and accommodation.

Then consider salary you will be paid.

Do the plus and minus to know what works for you.
I heard it's only once in a week that I will be making the trip ..although it will be for going and coming but it is still considerable..because at the moment it's the only cheapest sch have seen

I believe you are already qualified based on what you stated. Look for UK sponsored job roles as an Early Childhood Educator/Early Childhood Practitioner, it is a skill in shortage here in the UK.

Why don’t you just try canada? you have enough funds, and their path to Permanent residency is less complicated

There is an update regarding the payment structure for the Master of Research (MRes) program at the University of Bolton, effective from the September 2025 intake.

New Tuition Fee Collection Scheme:

Deposit: ÂŁ5,000 (payable in advance)

Payment at Enrolment: ÂŁ5,000

Balance Payment: The remaining balance, after any applicable scholarship deductions, can be paid either in full or in six equal monthly instalments through a recurring card payment arrangement.

This new scheme is designed to offer greater flexibility to students while maintaining compliance with the University’s financial policies. We encourage all applicants to familiarize themselves with this updated payment schedule and ensure compliance to avoid any disruptions in the enrolment process.

my husband was supposed to have a pre cas interview on 12th of may, he waited endless for zoom code but didn't get it till date, the interview wasn't conducted and no mail as regards reschedule, he mailed the school but there was no response, we only got mail for 5k deposit at enrolment. What could be the problem?

There are phone numbers to call some minutes to the time of the interview, this is how people have been getting the zoom link to do the interview

I have tried to look into Canadian International Student immigration pathways, but it is not as straightforward as the UK's. It is so confusing.

Morning guys, my cousin got an unconditional offer for MRes Clinical Research at Tesside University.

I have read here that some Mres courses don't allow dependant still. So, I called the school to confirm if the MRes course would allow dependant, but the lady that spoke to me said no (she sounded unsure).

I asked her to give me list of their courses that allow dependants, and she listed PhD and DBA courses only, no Mres.

I would like to know if anyone also applied to the school (not necessarily the same course) or if there's any MRes program someone with a Biomedical degree can do in any school that allows dependants.

Thanks.

Yes I know an Mres program with that someone who has a biomedical degree can do and the good thing is that it’s quite cheap
You also qualify for a scholarship of 3500 of given the offer

Good course and good university as well. If you come out with a good result then this immigration policy is not for you.

Hull university is a good one but the most important thing is to come out with a good result in that course.
