Good day everyone, I want to depart Nigeria on the 26th because I will be using a connecting flight by Qatar airways which arrives Gatwick on the 27th but my entry date is 27th to the UK. I want to know if I would have any issues boarding on that 26th? |

Good day everyone. Please I would appreciate some input on this; Between Univeristy of Roehampton and UWE Bristol, which would you advise I go for? Considering the cost of living and tuition deposit for both.

Hello everyone, I would be arriving Birmingham Airport on Thursday and my agent texted me that recent bank statements are being asked for at the point of Entry. Please how true is it? I already emptied my naira since April 1st and changed 3 months rent to pounds. Please how true is the recent bank statement requirement? |

Kaykaychizzy:Based on experience I would advise you to go for roehampton because it’s cheaper in of deposit and the payment plan is very ok |
DTravelguide(m): 10:55pm On May 15 |
our9ja:Have you fulfilled the conditions on the offer letter? If yes have you also booked for an interview? |
Kaykaychizzy: 11:46pm On May 15 |
DTravelguide:Thank you for the response. I was actually thinking Roehampton cost of living would be high but since it's cheaper and has good/favourable payment plan, I'll go for it. |

Good day house, please I need to know. Does anyone know if MRes at the University of East Anglia allows dependants? What's their instalment (payment) plan like? Can one also stay like 3 hours away from school? Will that be an issue for the visa application? Thank you. |

samintegrity: If you’ve gotten your unconditional offer letter, you have to make your deposit immediately because it’s very important as unconditional letter means your slot has been kept so failure to pay deposit now is a risk I won’t advise you to take…please go ahead and make your deposit immediately so as to be on a safe side… |

DTravelguide: Thanks bro Good morning, was able to get across to the school Nigeria representative. He advised we wait till after Pre CAS before making payment. In his words, the school has just concluded means for their interview and would begin to roll them out in two weeks time. So I asked him specifically, if I should go ahead to make payment. He said he would advise we wait till after the interview. Thanks again bro. |

ItsSmile: Put your POF back into your before traveling to UK and print the bank statement (it can be a 5-day bank statement not necessarily 28 days). It seems to be on a case by case basis. A good number of students that travelled for this May intake experienced it. Better safe than sorry. 1 Like |

ItsSmile: Yes, my sister came in 2 weeks ago and she was asked to provide this at the point of entry. According to her, the img officer "joked" after she provided that they denied entry to someone in the morning for not being able to provide it. She informed her friend who was coming in the following weekend to have it and the friend also said she was asked at point of entry. 3 Likes |

Mrphilia: I experienced that in 2023; my UK visa and family, started on the 25th of that month. The Qatar flight from Nigeria departed at 10am on the 24th from Nigeria to arrive in the UK on the 25th at 6am. You will NOT have a problem with boarding Qatar flight and staff on that day. But at almost the last point of the Nigeria immigration side, they would try everything to frustrate and extort you (telling you, Why do you want to exit Nigeria when your UK visa has not started?; telling lies their like their system flagging it, would not allow them to check you out....bla..bla... they would ask you to come back the next day, your visa start date. Though I strongly disagreed with their story and was very adamant not to give them a dime, they still delayed and extorted 10k from family of 5 at that point.... we were never expecting there could be this kind of extortion. Hope they would have changed now. you may prepare against this. |

DTravelguide: Hi DTravelguide, Please i have some questions that i need your assistance on. 1. Please is possible to apply for a priority visa for September ission now in May. I mean my resumption is in september , but i want to apply this month of May and put in for priority visa. Please advice |
Emmyrez(m): 7:07pm On May 17 |
ezeksojo: Why do you want to use priority. You still have enough time. I will advise not to waste your money but if you have excess cash. You can use it. |
offwego: 7:33pm On May 17 |
Priority "visa" is a UKVI commercial partner service. If available at the time of booking for your biometrics whether in May or June, you can select and pay the extra costs associated with the Priority or Super Priority services. To benefit from an expedited process, your application must be straightforward by this I mean as clear and complete as possible. Complex cases may not be expedited, especially if additional information or checks are needed. ezeksojo: |
