samintegrity: If you’ve gotten your unconditional offer letter,you have to make your deposit immediately because it’s very important as unconditional letter means your slot has been kept so failure to pay deposit now is a risk I won’t advise you to take…please go ahead and make your deposit immediately so as to be on a safe side… |

DTravelguide: Thanks bro Good morning, was able to get across to the school Nigeria representative. He advised we wait till after Pre CAS before making payment. In his words, the school has just concluded means for their interview and would begin to roll them out in two weeks time. So I asked him specifically, if I should go ahead to make payment. He said he would advise we wait till after the interview. Thanks again bro. |

ItsSmile: Put your POF back into your before traveling to UK and print the bank statement (it can be a 5-day bank statement not necessarily 28 days). It seems to be on a case by case basis. A good number of students that travelled for this May intake experienced it. Better safe than sorry. 1 Like |

ItsSmile: Yes, my sister came in 2 weeks ago and she was asked to provide this at the point of entry. According to her, the img officer "joked" after she provided that they denied entry to someone in the morning for not being able to provide it. She informed her friend who was coming in the following weekend to have it and the friend also said she was asked at point of entry. 3 Likes |

Mrphilia: I experienced that in 2023; my UK visa and family, started on the 25th of that month. The Qatar flight from Nigeria departed at 10am on the 24th from Nigeria to arrive in the UK on the 25th at 6am. You will NOT have a problem with boarding Qatar flight and staff on that day. But at almost the last point of the Nigeria immigration side, they would try everything to frustrate and extort you (telling you, Why do you want to exit Nigeria when your UK visa has not started?; telling lies their like their system flagging it, would not allow them to check you out....bla..bla... they would ask you to come back the next day,your visa start date. Though I strongly disagreed with their story and was very adamant not to give them a dime, they still delayed and extorted 10k from family of 5 at that point.... we were never expecting there could be this kind of extortion. Hope they would have changed now. you may prepare against this. |
