Don't arrest anyone yet.

Try to take the battery to Sako yourself, point out the discrepancies to them and tell them to disassemble the battery in your presence.

Okay sir.
Thank you so much.
Let me reach out to Sako myself then.

Here is the sales manager's number attached (don't want to get banned).

He would unlikely be involved in any coverup, if there is one.

Ohhh…thank you so much
This means a lot
God bless you.

So I should go on and buy the shunt then right?

It's something you can do yourself, while opening the battery would involve you needing someone's help like I mentioned earlier.

I think you should take @fuckboys deal, you clearly don't need a new one, but something independent that is working.

Also, once trust has been breached like this, it always good to be able to ascertain things independently yourself, in case you ever have questions later on. Its a good tool.

I have bought 3 coulometers in the past (all from AliExpress) and will still buy another one.

So after the advice I got from my bosses here, I decided to change my breaker and I saw this.

I've installed a new Schneider 63a breaker, let's see how it goes tomorrow.

Obviously this is a fake dc breaker, I hope this si what has been causing all my charging issues.

Since you are pumping in so much current, change your cable to 16mm from that 10mm. I told you before, that is the underlining cause, not just the breaker. You said yourself that the wire gets hot. The heated wire affected this breaker. The oversizing of the is much, you need to see to that too

You are correct I have encountered that breaker problem, I was quick enough to trace it to the breakers and it was my house

Good afternoon house

My inverter setup is as follows: a 3.5kVA inverter with two Luminous tubular batteries. I have three 555W Jinko solar s connected in parallel to an old 60A Modern Felicity charge controller. 6mm copper wire from the s to the charge controller. However, the cables(6mm) from the charge controller to the batteries tend to get warm, and sometimes even hot. What could be causing this, and is there any solution?

Double the 6mm cable between the cc and inverter if you can't get 10mm cable. Ensure that the cables are of same length.

Experts in the house (HeavenlyBang, Dam5reey1, etc), please help me make a choice between these two batteries. Want to help my sis for a one-bed apt setup - https://sygniteng.com/product/growatt-hope-4-8l-c1-lithium-ion-battery/ or https://sygniteng.com/product/megatank-gl48100-lithium-ion-battery/

Never heard about Megatank before. Thanks in advance.
Get deye from fouani, the 48v and 12v batteries are cheaper than that growatt you linked from sygnite

I'm thinking they cost that much because they are higher voltage rated and LiFePo4. I am strongly leaning higher voltage cos they require lower current to operate which means less heat and no fans needed so no battery noise. Your LVTOPSUN is 24V abi?
Follow his advice, they're stupidly overrated, they're quoting x2+ of average 5kwh battery price whether 24 or 48v.

That amount they're offering for 5kwh can get you close to a 15kwh battery, read up the thread and you will learn a lot.

these wires are very expensive chief, let me run this first with the new breakers and see how it goes. If it happens again I’ll definitely be changing the wires then.

I hope so too chief but I don’t think we’re wrong though because I don’t see reasons why my inverter freezer and 25watt fan will run down a fully charged 5Kwh battery within 12 hours.

Thanks so much for your help once again.

I am looking for a 48V and I have not seen a 15kwh for that price or close. I will gladly go for that, from a solid OEM of course. I dont want anything 24V.

He just mentioned LVTOPSON and told you the price he got it.

There is Deriy, there is Valto, Firman, Felicity, Sako, Cworth. It's plenty. They all have 48v batteries at a fair price range.

Valto even offers 7.5kwh for 1.250m, 1.9m for 5kwh is just ridiculous.

Deriy also have 5kwh 48v for 1.050m. If you do some research you will see, it's not hidden.

I see two things here. It's either your mind is made up already and you're just looking for a validation to get either of the batteries or you're not getting what the people above are saying.

How can you buy 48v 100ah for 1.8m where you can get a good 48v 280ah or 314ah between 1.9m ~ 2.5m. It doesn't make financial sense to me.

Anyway, your money, your decision.

Sir, you mean taking pictures of the SOC before bedtime and after I woke up right?

I couldn’t do that again as I had light all through the night and I was also advised here to get a shunt which I’ll be getting from @fuckboy here. Will use that to determine exactly what’s happening in the battery as instructed here.

Thank you so much sir.

Where to buy original chint or tomzn please
dollarnaira: 10:11am On May 13
For new ones here or those without electronics knowledge.

YOU ALL NEED BASIC SOLAR KNOWLEDGE or else you will keep getting DUPED.

Know basic :

12v, 24, 48v set up
Kwh calculation
Amp hour to kwh
SOC
LVD etc

Basic device needed: Cheapest Multimeter at Least.

Use this:
100ah = 1280wh or 1.28kwh

DON'T GET CARRIED AWAY BY KWH written on battery packs. Always convert to ah in your mind.

A 12v 100ah on a 50w should do roughly 20hrs. Unfortunately, the thread is no longer DIY.

Fear will always prevent you from acquiring solar knowledge especially with fire mentality

Na who get sense dey use solar cool

Valto is 24V. Forget Deriy. No battery stock in Nigeria and resellers are inflating. Please point me to the other 48V options you mentioned. Thanks.
