HeavenlyBang: Good spot. Though I did not think their smaller batteries come in this build. Please KudozInteriors confirm to us all what your installer said before buying the battery and the price you bought it for. Please as much info as possible so we can be sure who the culprit is. |
KudozInteriors(m): 6:00pm On May 12 |
Juror: Okay. Thank you so much. I will do exactly so |
CuteMaro(m): 6:00pm On May 12 |
AndroBlaze:It does. I think it's one of their latest additions. I have been looking at it but it's quite expensive sha. |
CuteMaro(m): 6:01pm On May 12 |
KudozInteriors:Boss calm down, your battery is 2.5kwh..No need to buy anything else. Go check ur manual first. |
KudozInteriors(m): 6:03pm On May 12 |
Juror: This is the label on the battery. It’s says 5120wh
|
KudozInteriors(m): 6:06pm On May 12 |
CuteMaro: Let me fetch the manual. |
AndroBlaze: 6:06pm On May 12 |
KudozInteriors: Wow, speechless and this is the first thing your installer should have noticed if he isn't in on this. Sorry, please confirm, are you a lady? Please also confirm the price you paid. |
CuteMaro(m): 6:09pm On May 12 |
KudozInteriors:Guys notice that the warranty seal also seems broken. |
KudozInteriors(m): 6:11pm On May 12 |
KudozInteriors: My wife is looking for the manual as I gave it to her to keep the last time. Maybe she didn’t know exactly the safe place where she kept it but we’ll find it shortly. |
KudozInteriors(m): 6:12pm On May 12 |
AndroBlaze: I’m a guy sir. I paid 1m50k sir |

CuteMaro: I complained about this to the installer and he said that he confirmed the seal before he left Alaba and that it might have torn like that during transportation. One of the Sako vendors said that why the seal is on a screw there is to confirm is someone opens it and that provided that the side of the screw is not tampered with, that there’s no problem. In fact, me and the installer has been dragging for my receipts since. He keeps bringing up stories upon stories. I told him that I regret trusting him to handle this for me as me and him have known for long and he’s been sincere with me in our deals but in this Solar, I started doubting him as the thing has been giving me one issue or the other since. 1 Like |

KudozInteriors: Well, your battery is quite evidently a 100aH battery. So 2.5kwh, not 5kwh. It appears someone may have pulled a fast one on you. |
AndroBlaze: 6:18pm On May 12 |
CuteMaro: He mentioned that he sent it back to Sako for testing which would explain the seal being broken. However they should have replaced it and the fact he sent it back to them and they said all is fine without noticing the sticker and the BMS are saying different things seems to indicate that Sako is in on this crime, thats if the installer actually sent it back to them. @KudozInteriors The price you paid cannot justify 2.5kw, somebody is criminally taking advantage. Please confirm you have the receipt. 1 Like |

KudozInteriors: Hmm this is serious. This casing looks like the one for Li-Sun 51.2V 5kWh 25.6V 5kWh Li wall is quite different from this. and your display is telling us this is a 25.6V 100Ah there's been some crisscross somewhere. |
eghos12(m): 6:21pm On May 12 |
All this one is talk. The truth us that the company has defrauded him. How can a suppose 200ah battery be reading 100ah and the time use correlate with 100ah. Wow wow
|
AndroBlaze: 6:26pm On May 12 |
eghos12: You blame the company but how does an installer miss this twice. I am talking about when he first installed it and later disconnected it when it was sent back to Sako?! This is definitely not a mixup and someone is doing this on purpose. |
KudozInteriors(m): 6:28pm On May 12 |
HeavenlyBang: After the first time that the battery was dying fast, I had to click on the buttons on the battery and saw 100ah. Didn’t know what it meant but I knew that the sticker said 200ah. I snapped it and sent to my installer and the vendor. They said it means nothing and that it’s just the charging current but I just knew that the thing was dying fast while carrying my appliances. It’s actually possible that they did not send this to the factory and they kept me in the dark for 2 weeks. I’ve been good to this guy. Why would he do this to me? I’ve called him though and he said he’s coming to my house tomorrow. 1 Like |

Mavor: You mean 48V is High voltage and 24V is low voltage.. you may be right but.. In this context Low Voltage (12V~60V) While High Voltage System(150V to 800V) |
Dam5reey1(m): 6:38pm On May 12 |
KudozInteriors: Still not adding up discharge that batteries to 21V till it shut down then charge again. That is not a Li-wall.. but Li-Sun. I got it for someone and it's 25.6V 200AH Li-Sun

KudozInteriors: I don't think you should allow that installer near the battery again till you can rule him out as being the mastermind of this fraud. If I were you, since the warranty seal has already been broken, I would open it up to see what cells are inside. Dam5reey has already done this before, so the shortest way is to him or any other person not connected to this scenario to open it up so you can see for yourself. I'd say it's almost 90% certain that it is a 2.5kwh and not some glitch in the software. However only opening it up will determine for sure, and one thing we are 100% sure of is someone has already opened it after you bought it, which is why the seal is broken. Once you are certain of the cells in it, you would then know whether to proceed with the local option of police or my preferable option would be you do a youtube video casting out Sako Nigeria as a den of robbers, which would force Sako China to think twice and probably compensate you. Again that's if it's Sako's fault and not your installer (for now he is the only person who clearly doesn't have a convincing story in this whole scenario). 4 Likes |

Dam5reey1: Please I don’t understand this sir. |

KudozInteriors: Was it installed yourself or an installer assisted? didnt your installer show you these capacity page and how you can check SOC on the screen |
KudozInteriors(m): 7:05pm On May 12 |
AndroBlaze: Thanks so much for this. I’m already thinking of arresting the installer tomorrow like this. I’m just confused like this. I feel terrible right now. |

KudozInteriors:hold don’t purchase yet, I wanna sell mine with a 200a shunt cos I just ed Iinnov8 for his and will be buying it from him tomorrow You can have mine for 18k |
AndroBlaze: 7:11pm On May 12 |
KudozInteriors: What he is saying is that you should still do a capacity test, what we recommended earlier to you when you were advised to get the shunt. Charge it fully up and drain it to determine the capacity ( the only other way, beside opening it to be sure it's really a 5kwh battery). He's suggesting it might just be a software issue (wrong parameters were input). To be certain you will need something independent to measure usage or do it yourself manually (which I would not recommend in this case). |
Juror: 7:12pm On May 12 |
KudozInteriors: Don't arrest anyone yet. Try to take the battery to Sako yourself, point out the discrepancies to them and tell them to disassemble the battery in your presence. 1 Like |

Juror: Here is the sales manager's number attached (don't want to get banned). He would unlikely be involved in any coverup, if there is one.

So after the advice I got from my bosses here, I decided to change my breaker and I saw this. I've installed a new Schneider 63a breaker, let's see how it goes tomorrow. Obviously this is a fake dc breaker, I hope this si what has been causing all my charging issues. 1 Like |

Iinnov8:It works 2 ways boss. The VOC and also max s for each battery voltage. For a 12v system, the max VOC is 80v and the s is 720w. U can go slightly above it and still be safe but not recommended to overdo it. |
Drgreatone: 7:28pm On May 12 |
fuckboys:Its not by this calculation sir. U sudnt be doing more than 2 of ur s on this CC which is 800v |
omotoda(m): 7:34pm On May 12 |
KudozInteriors: You should get the installer arrested. That battery is 25.6v 100 ah which is 2.5kw. Except it is a recalibration issue but based on the information in the display, that is a 2.5kw battery You need to deal with him. |
KudozInteriors(m): 7:50pm On May 12 |
AndroBlaze: Thank you so much. So I should go on and buy the shunt then right? |
