Network glitch is not anyone fault and it can be corrected by scheduling another time for you. Why vandalizing and destroying things because of that.

If it was a sane country

That's what they will tell them, gbam they will give them zero score

JAMB should have overcome this issue at this age of its journey.

However, I hold the exam body to a great esteem as a Nigerian body
donmik: 12:25pm On Apr 26
Love800:
Jamb should be abolished. Let the universities themselves set the exams, because them(universities) know the amount of students to be given ission. Jamb does not have any idea about this, and just waiting student's time!

I will recommend students to write A-level exams(IJMB, JUBEP, NABTEB), weekend classes(part-time), sandwich(evenings classes), pre-degree!

Hmmmm... you have spoken.
What is the failure with JAMB?
I hope you know your country schools don't have a unified level exam to measure equal standard.
Up till now, some schools still offer fake grades

While I agree with you and understand where you are coming from, I say, LET THE WORLD TEACH THEM.

Who is the world? Same you and I that failed in training them properly?

Or same gen z that will grow up and become parents too?

Who exactly is the world? Lol.

If the world will teach them, then we the older ones are still in class and failing woefully.

The World corrects itself. That's the animal kingdom we live in. We self correct. It may be brutal at first, but we learn the easy way or hard way. People learn best from experience and consequences may teach them where they failed.

GOD bless you sir.

The same people who corrupt, evil leaders who forged certificates, turn to blame youth for doing exactly what they leaders are doing.

Its utterly ridiculous. Whatever the younger set are doing was simply learned from the older set...

Until we're ready to it that these kids are doing what they do because we as the older ones have failed them, the matter will only get worse.

Great! Knowing this, why then do we make a habit of wailing when we do know that every generation would through this in one form or the other?

We always cry foul like our generation or the one before was any better.

If the previous generations were better youths during their time, our nation won't be like this. We would have constant electricity and our gutter would be covered.

It goes on and on... let the kids be!

You are joking right grin

Since when has violence changed anything.

I during Ghana-Nigeria 2000 in the area where i lived, during Nigeria vs Congo group stage matches. Immediately the teams filed out and reciting the National Anthem, NEPA took light. That was how boys marched to NEPA office and destroyed equipments and blinded an official. For 9 months there was no power supply for the whole area that year. That was 25 years ago and as we speak, NEPA still screw their customers.

Violence does not changes anything it only compounds it.

There is something called non-violence social change which works. You need to read Mahatma Ghandi books.

For the glitches caused by JAMB, the candidates could have filed a class action suit against JAMB and will get favourable judgement. Thats what civilised people do. Everything is not nzogbu nzogbu.

It is not just about violence. Take a look at most Genz. They don't have the patience, morals and thrust into religion as we were while growing. Most of the Genzs are already living the life of a Millennial in his 30s or 40s at age 17 or so.

These GenZs by default wouldn't take chances in living below standards when they get to 30.
Just watch! It is either they give them their way or they forcefully take it.

I don't know about wailing but I share the same sentiments with you. What should happen is for the kids to find out the consequences of their actions. It's called FAFO these days. Let the system correct itself.

It's not like people didn't talk in the past when we were acting like rascals back then, there wasn't just any social media platform to get us talking. Only the newspaper or radio, depending on the severity of the case could get tongues wagging.

A child sees that his parents who work hard and are honest find it difficult to put food on their table and nothing to show for it. They work hard at school and yet no rewards for it. They hear that BBNaija participant are rewarded by the government. They see evil, corrupt, dubious men as those in government: those who were cultists too. They hear their parents lament of brazen corruption at their places of work by those in authority. They see their honest parents suffer. They see their elder ones who worked and did well in school, roaming the streets with no jobs. The see touts, drug pushers, those who commit crime, lead the country. They see people all forms of criminality, corruption, etc. They see corruption ridden men in helm of affairs. They see their classmates who are children of politicians, bailing full-time, nonstop.

Despite all these we want them to work hard and better citizens? We blame the for towing the exact path the politicians we worship tow?

We must be mad, very mad, stupid, and foolish people.

So na only cultists and oloshos get tendencies of participating in violence

Are most of the political leaders in Nigeria not cultists and occultists? Are the so-called olosho not making it big in Nigeria? Does your government not reward sex on TV like BBNaija? Do oloshos no get more money from your leaders?

Some of them might later outgrow the kind of weird behaviours associated with their age, but by then hopefully it wont be too late.

So that has more impact than having a man with no honestly verifiable academic records as a president, a terror er as VP, a man with corruption case as SP, etc?

So the senator's act made students in far away Ibadan to go violent?

Are you okay? Are yoy normal?

Why has tribalism eaten deep into your brain?

where did tribalism enter this matter again.... You said d president doesn't have verifiable academic records even when his school said he attended and graduated.... I said we have it on record where legislators have been seen acting like hooligans and I made reference to the last one from d east, we also have elisha abbo from the north, the current minister of state for foreign affair Bianca ojukwu was taped slapping an outgoing governors wife.....

Also a notable University in d east awarded someone with less than 5 academic publications as prof.... This are some of the bad behaviour that dis children are imitating......

U keep mentioning Tinubu's academic record... Pls share me jst one link from Chicago state University saying tinubu didn't attend and graduate from their university.... Jst one

What is wrong with this generation? Any small thing, they start to destroy public properties. The same public infrastructure that we are complaining we don't have enough of. Like the saying, when you are in a hole, you stop digging. This saying does not apply to the lazy, damaged Nigerian youth.
