Test of character for Rebel Youth Movement.

This generation wey no suffer NEPA, imagine if no network for 1 week, their riot fit ENDSARS because that phone na their blood.

Education is not knowledge alone, it's discipline and character. These ones have failed the main test.

Discipline and Character are instilled and learned... if they have failed... then what will you say about those meant to instill those virtues?!

Yes! They are worse than the kids because these kids learnt from them.

Until we're ready to say that truth, let's keep watching and deceiving ourselves that these kids aren't a result of our inadequacies.

I was about to say this.

A generation that's even filled with pablos (yahoo boys) what do you expect.

What are the academic qualifications and achievements of their president, governors, NASS, LGA chairmen, etc. Stop blaming this generation. You can never have bad, corrupt, incompetent leaders and expect honest, hardworking followers.

Have some of their parents who work hard and studied well been able to provide food at home for them? Una think these children do not see the stealing, corruption, injustice going on in the country?

There are consequences for bad leadership.

Leaders of tomorrow behaving like an average Nigerian senator

Exactly! They are behaving like their elders.

They set the example and they have followed.

They even tried coming for the exam.

The last two presidents of their nation couldn't provide their tertiary results... so, they know they can be fine and even have a shot at being president as they are

Prospective cultists and oloshos.

How many of your political leaders and those in the helm of affairs are not occultist and cultists? Do many of them not belong to one secret cult or the other?

You can imagine the link above.

GOD bless you sir.

The same people who corrupt, evil leaders who forged certificates, turn to blame youth for doing exactly what they leaders are doing.

Senator?

What secondary school did your president attend?

The above, I read, is from the number 1 citizen. So why blame talk of just senators?

God bless you for the summary. The writeup by the op is wack

Glimpsetv:
Summary:
Angry JAMB candidates in Ibadan vandalized chairs and property at a CBT centre due to technical issues that delayed their UTME on April 25, 2025. The incident occurred at Abimbola Excel School, and though security intervened, no arrests were made. Similar glitches happened in 2024, leading to rescheduled exams. Over 2 million candidates ed for the 2025 UTME, including over 41,000 under the age of 16. JAMB says adjustments have been made to address such challenges.

Jamb should be abolished. Let the universities themselves set the exams, because them(universities) know the amount of students to be given ission. Jamb does not have any idea about this, and just waiting student's time!

I will recommend students to write A-level exams(IJMB, JUBEP, NABTEB), weekend classes(part-time), sandwich(evenings classes), pre-degree!

At this point..perhaps institutions should be allowed to sell their own forms...

On the bright side...these Gen Zs or their offsprings will be the ones to change the country for good. Just watch. They have all it takes to challenge...!
I'm so happy to hear this and I believe you 100%. Genz are not as tolerant as us. They are not as religious as us too. With these virtues disguised as vices, they will quickly spring up a revolution.

The candidates i saw yesterday no even care, infact them just hold themselves 2 2 for corner dey collect number

What's the academic achievements or prowess of una leaders in the country? You want the youth to be studious, while the country is being ruled by the type of people we have.

Doing this will give rise to issions racketeering and will lead to further divisions along ethnic lines...you will now have a situation where universities even federal universities will tend to give issions to mainly candidates who come from their own regions undecided

They are not what you think because some of the centres have bad computers which is not supposed to be in use for the exam. JAMB needs to sanction such centers because many students are complaining. Some of these UTME centers are ruining the lives of these students. For goodness sake, JAMB is paying these centers from money made from these students.

We are not yet matured for the so called CBT.
Because so many centers nation wide do not have the up to date facilities.
I will suggest the government should review it and stop suffering students.
The last time, in my son's center some people could not write their JAMB not until the evening.
CBT is not by Force.

Typical of the illiterate.

How has damaging those chairs rectified the glitch?

These touts will get into schools, cults and graduate as miscreants to become the next gen menace to the Nigerian society. They will the police and nscdc without prior checks.

I when done students held a riot and they were captured by cctv cameras. They were shocked when they all got their expulsion letters with clear photographs of then causing damage. Nobody knew that school management had installed hidden cameras everywhere. Everybody rest after that incident.
Long way to go for Naija.

Ibadan is very big and some examiners came from the far distance and couldn't thumb print due to the glitch. A boy took four buses yesterday before getting to his center still yet the glitch affected him. I understand their frustration but they over do.
β€œYet” or β€œStill”. Using both may amount to tautology.
