These turn around maintenance has been a siphon pipe to loot money by emeka offor and his cronies in AGIp(any govt. In power).
Hopefully this would not be temporal but permanent .
Ajaokuta steel and Alscon should be next .

I didn't mention milestone in anything I wrote, but ur urge for relevance made you talk about milestone.
Simply say u are pained about it and u are praying that fuel prices don't drop so u can criticize, anyone who knows the meaning of milestone should know the effect the presence of an industry has on a society.
People are paying over N1,000 for fuel so STFU. Critics didn’t put 90% of Nigerians below poverty level.
How you lots even have the audacity to argue about politics with the high cost of living is just something that needs to be studied

The pain in ur chest now because we rejected ur Lienus which we will reject again in 2027 is massive.
I thought 100% of Nigerians are below poverty line, now it has reduced to 90%?
Pathetic Iots, when u were clapping for ur messiah that said he will remove fuel subsidy "immediately" u expected fuel to be sold for #150/L when subsidy is removed?

Obj spent money on the refinery, GEJ spent money on it too, Buhari also did.
So it doesn't matter who awarded it, we knew that this istration pushed on with deadline upon deadline and achieved what other istrations didn't.
I'll give the credit to Tinubu

That shouldn't be the aim of succeeding. In case you don't know, if he succeeds, his critics must have contributed more to that success than you sycophants.
Some critics are actually not happy if it succeeds. You actually sound like one.

I'll give the credit to Tinubu
A contract that was awarded by the Buhari led government at the sum of 1.5 million dollars in 2021.
If not for the series of failed testing arising from the obsolete mechanical parts that necessitated it's completion this year, the project would have been completed early last year.
A friend of mine that stays on my street was part and parcel of the team that partook in the maintenance.
The credit should go to Buhari notwithstanding it was completed in Tinubu's era.

all of ona deh always get the right source.
We didn't hear news about the refinery until Tinubu took over, that was when we started having hope, it all started last year when Tinubu ordered NNPCL to haste with the revamp, they later gave a deadline that it will work last year December and begin to shift deadline when pressure mount on them until now.
We didn't hear anything after Buhari spent money. Obj also spent money but nothing happened and he gave up and said the refinery will never work.

Wrong. Tinubu could have come in and neglected the project, or delayed funding etc, but he ensured it was completed to the end, so you can also praise him for ensuring continuity in govt policy and projects.

To be honest, if I'm an opposition party member or just a neutral sadist, I would be feeling miserable currently when I see that:
1. Nigeria's GDP grew by 3.46%.
2. Unemployment rate decreased to 4.3%.
3. Fuel imports are declining rapidly.
4. Nigeria is now exporting PMS to West Africa and Europe.
5. Crude oil production is climbing towards 2 million bpd.
6. Revenue-debt service ratio reduced from over 90% to 64%.
7. Ambitious tax reforms bills are gaining ground and likely to be ed with minimal amendments.
8. Foreign reserves are climbing to over $40 billion despite the fact that @cenbank expended $5.11 billion between July 2023 - July 2024 to service our external debts and additional $6 billion to clear FX backlogs.
9. External debts are declining marginally contrary to earlier insinuations by @atiku
10. Lagos-Calabar coastal road is progressing rapidly from the Lagos end.
11. Construction from the Calabar end of the Lagos-Calabar coastal road is about to begin.
12. Sokoto-Badagry highway is getting ready to start.
13. Student loan by @NELFUND is gaining wider acceptance
14. Consumer Credit by @CrediCorpNG is reaching many more beneficiaries.
15. Many vehicle owners are eager to convert their vehicles to run on CNG thanks expansion of conversion centers by @PCNGInitiative and expansion of CNG stations by private sector players such as @nipcoplc
16. Local governments are gradually getting their autonomy.
17. John Deere is getting ready to supply first batch of tractors and other agricultural equipment.
18. Reguvenated and restructured social investment programmes are about to resume.
19. Simon Ekpa is in detention and denying his IPOB Prime Ministership like Peter.
20. Bandits are feeling the fire and brimstone from both our airforce and ground forces.
21. Farmers-herders clashes have reduced drastically.
22. New Ministry of livestock is poised to modernise livestock business especially cattle rearing in Nigeria.
23. Port Harcourt refinery finally begins operations after overhaul thanks to President Muhammadu @MBuhari and President Bola Ahmed @officialABAT both of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Nigeria will succeed!
And many other good news...

Are Nnpc ready to do right and keep up maintainance, tbh nothing to celebrate yet
