Na true bro.

I'm happy to be very honest at least Port Harcourt, Dangote, Warri and Kaduna if all these refineries finally working and start delivering fuel then we are getting there.

I'm happy.

Just because they( NNPC)were looking bad being a middleman with Dangote products, they quickly resuscitated what took them years and billions in the past.

Success is how much you buy petrol and gas not whether a refinery is working or not

Functioning refineries is success because it employs people, reduce pressure on foreign exchange, creates exports, that's success but we know u Iots.

You took a loan of $1.5 billion dollars to reactivate a 60 thousand and 150 thousand capacity (that is if it's the two refineries that were reactivated simultaneously) since 2021,and now November 2024 went into operation,I will not celebrate now because I don't trust anything that is being run by the government, this could just be a face saving strategy because they know the 650 thousand capacity DANGOTE refinery has spoiled the importation and subsidy scam business for the government and NNPCL and put them on their toes, until this refinery is run for 6 Months without story of sabotage ,then I will applause and congratulate the government.for now I dey sit down look.nigerians are quick at celebrating and falling into government scam.
Just read below the 150 thousand capacity is yet to come on stream,it's the 60 thousand capacity that has started refining

The 150,000 barrels per day new Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) complex is set to come on stream by mid-2025.
This govt took a loan in 2021?
There's nothing pain will not make u say.

Any Nigerian who isnโ€™t happy at this news is clearly showing where his heart is.

If you congratulate or pretend to be happy for Nigeria will you die
It will gladden my heart, if true. I didn't lie with my previous comment cos I read it here and that's why I'm finding it difficult to believe. I was one of those who welcomed the idea when buhari flagged it off back then with 2busd. But afrer the 3 failed announcements of production commencement dates and the recent failed TAM announced, i had to drop that comment. Anything that will alleviate the sufferings of the masses is welcomed by me.

Do you really have sense at all? What did you make? So it is no longer Dangote's refinery that will bring the price of fuel to 100 per liter?

In as much as it is a step in the right direction and I want him to do well and save suffering Nigerian even though I do t like him, it is still too early to celebrate anything. Government can celebrate and we will follow when we feel the effect.

We have not had govt refineries work on more than 30 years. Can you let patriotic Nigerians enjoy one day before you resume your gloom and doom tomorrow?

Can we officially stop importation now? Shebi they said Dangote can't meet local demand hence the reason why they must import.

with this new development, can we all agree that local demand for refined products is taken care of and then marketers should be directed to stop importation.

As much as I agreed with your statement. It takes a strong willed individual to live above vile criticism and succeed. Thank God jagaban is dauntless.

T-pain wants to change his name to T-enjoy,but will this reduce the price of fuel?

Donโ€™t expect it to but I can guarantee you we have seen the worst of inflation.

The price of petrol will be determined by 2 things going forward, the global price of crude oil and the exchange rate.

We have no control over the price of crude but having multiple refineries working beyond our local demand level means we will export refined products which means we will get more forex. As we get more forex, the Naira will rise and the price of petrol will fall.

It wonโ€™t happen overnight.

7. Ambitious tax reforms bills are gaining ground and likely to be ed with minimal amendments.

8. Foreign reserves are climbing to over $40 billion despite the fact that @cenbank expended $5.11 billion between July 2023 - July 2024 to service our external debts and additional $6 billion to clear FX backlogs.

9. External debts are declining marginally contrary to earlier insinuations by @atiku

10. Lagos-Calabar coastal road is progressing rapidly from the Lagos end.

11. Construction from the Calabar end of the Lagos-Calabar coastal road is about to begin.

13. Student loan by @NELFUND is gaining wider acceptance

14. Consumer Credit by @CrediCorpNG is reaching many more beneficiaries.

15. Many vehicle owners are eager to convert their vehicles to run on CNG thanks expansion of conversion centers by @PCNGInitiative and expansion of CNG stations by private sector players such as @nipcoplc

16. Local governments are gradually getting their autonomy.

17. John Deere is getting ready to supply first batch of tractors and other agricultural equipment.

18. Reguvenated and restructured social investment programmes are about to resume.

19. Simon Ekpa is in detention and denying his IPOB Prime Ministership like Peter.

20. Bandits are feeling the fire and brimstone from both our airforce and ground forces.

21. Farmers-herders clashes have reduced drastically.

22. New Ministry of livestock is poised to modernise livestock business especially cattle rearing in Nigeria.

23. Port Harcourt refinery finally begins operations after overhaul thanks to President Muhammadu @MBuhari and President Bola Ahmed @officialABAT both of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Nigeria will succeed!

And many other good news...

For those in that category currently, may their miserable condition kwontinue n'aha nke nna, na nke okpara, na nke mmuo nso! Ameen ๐Ÿ™

Emergency lovers of Nigeria are not happy to hear this. In fact they are in severe pains right now.

As we all know, positive news about the country upsets and annoys them.

All they want is bad news and so shall bad things continue to surround them.

Functioning refinery is a milestone. Do you even know what a milestone is? I doubt it. Success is getting the product price cheaper at the petrol stations. Forget about the rest baalablu forex and exports bulaba you wrote there.

Baalablu bulaba is saying or echoing anything that sounds reasonable or interesting whether you understand it or not, just to defend a failed government.

I didn't mention milestone in anything I wrote, but ur urge for relevance made you talk about milestone.
Simply say u are pained about it and u are praying that fuel prices don't drop so u can criticize, anyone who knows the meaning of milestone should know the effect the presence of an industry has on a society.
