Ur a racial bigot.

Instead of u to attack my message u started by saying am Yoruba.

Ur not a serious human being at all.

Something nairaland is fighting against.

Even after I told u am not Yoruba, that am South South, u still went ahead to say there is nothing like that, mentioning tribes as if the issue was a tribal thing.

Ur very useless.

Nobody like tribal bigots.

So because a Yoruba person was very brilliant in school I cannot sing his praise because am of another tribe?

Get out of here

A 5.0 CGPA graduate of Civil Engineering, and guess who the father is?

There's no way he would have achieved a 5.0 without his "dad effect". Would have graduated with a 4.92 or something but not 5.0 if he were the son of a nobody.

I have a coursemate whose dad is a professor and anytime he wants to be scolded, another lecturer will say ah na professor soso and so pikin be this na and he'll be left of the hook...

Not saying you can be a dullard and say because your dad is a professor you'd be getting A's but it gives you an added advantage and soft landing

You're so shallow, let's even say you can buy grades in most schools, can you buy 5.0?

You think 5.0 is something all professors in that faculty will just throw away cox the student is a son of one of them?

Nigerians and their very low mentality

You lack critical thinking....and your right about Nigerians and low mentality.

You may be right, his dad influence might have helped but trust me, if he's not that intelligent and doesn't worth the grade, no matter who his dad his, he won't come out with 5.0...

What will you say about a gateman daughter in lasu who also came out with 5.0, will you say the same thing to that?

Not hasty.
U know jamb of the late 90s to early 2000s was no joke.

Bosun broke and heald the record for many years.
Also had best Waec result
Won the national essay competition that year too.
Then his first semester at OAU? UNILAG( CAN'T WHICH) he had the best results.
Then wrote SAT and was 2nd in the world.
Then wrote SAT 2 and was first in the world.

Got scholarships, went to MIT and was 2nd best student there.

Thats why I said this guy can't stand toe to toe with bosun. All the achievements I mentioned are all secondary school feats.

If we're talking about the future, ofcos David can show the world better achievements.

But pre university things? Bosun stands .
By the way bosun was beating his classmates with 0.5,1 or 2 marks. If bosun came tops on let's say maths with 99 marks over 100, there will be about 3 people scoring 98.5, another 3 scoring 97 etc.
Crazy set. Because of him ISI introduced 2nd and 3rd place prizes.

Bosun was fire. Damn! They don't make them like him anymore. Pure genius. His dad owned a medical hospital back then.

They have this governing body like that. Can't if they wanted them to have PhDs or they had a new governing council.

But I some of them ended up in one secondary school like around Bodija that that were more than ready to absorb them.

please what secondary school in bodija was that? And hope you don't mind me asking, around what year was that?

Oh... I didn't know that. I read in the papers then that his parents were in opposite fields of endeavors..... Cos the journalist was trying to put up a thesis as to why Bosun was scoring high grades in both science and arts or social science courses.

There was another dude that actually scored a perfect In SAT around bosun time. Can't him now. Some people claimed he was better than bosun tho

Mehn I can't the name of the school again o. I can't if it also had a name with 'international' in it.
I left ibadan around 2010

But it was around 2004 or so. I think teachers like Mr Isewon from physics Department were among those that drove the exodus.
The idea was to move in a large number and try to replicate another 'the international school' standard wise. And also make parents also transfer their wards form ISI there.

I also don't know if it failed or was a succes.
I guess as soon as I get my Facebook back next month ( cos mt Facebook was hacked) I'll link up and find out.

And you finished from there 2002, is it possible to get your email address, there's some questions I would like to ask about some folks from your set.

my mind is got me thinking it's either bodija international college or lifeforte?
And when you get your Facebook back, please kindly find out. I am really curious to see where they went and if they were able to replicate the success they had in isi. Because, let don't lie, isi was HUGE. Maaadt respect for the products of that school.

I saw you mentioned abadina also producing one of the best results in waec back then, I was shocked Sha. Never knew they were hot in that school too.

Hmm... Those two schools u mentioned ring a bell.... And now that u mentioned them... Chai, it could be either of them. Rumours were that the school wasn't doing well so needed some kind of buffer and ISI teachers were best suited for the job

Yes abadina produced best result one year like that. I cos my mum taught there so one of the days I went to see her or something and a student I knew there went haywire because of it. I think the school was quite ok. Perhaps they were lucky to have a genius that year.

Another school that also did it was nickel college and one other international School at moniya( or was it King's College, moniya?)

Yes in my honest opinion, ISI had no match nationwide. It's a pity it wasn't the age of the social media. The country would have shaken with tonnes of records.
I one morning the principal came and announced that ISI was ranked third in the country among schools ( I don't know what the parameters were for the ranking, but apparently, it was from the government).

Yeah sure I'll find out and get back to u. Am very curious to know what happened too.
