it is like oga OyoTunji and the rest have given up on my case. I have not been able to schedule an appointment yet and it has been 3 weeks now and counting, I have created 11 tickets as I speak although 2 3 were put on hold. You also wrote that you planned to restart your browser and re. 2. I will recommend you call the helpline again, because most time, your calls are being taken by a new or inexperienced or exhausted staff, and such staff just want to tell you something so that you can hang-up 😄 3. Yes, that's what I have been doing, I have been calling every day and each time I call they mention they have escalated the ticket and the issue is with the relevant departments. They are no longer even escalating my ticket because they noted there is no point since from their end the ticket is on hold means they are working on it. But till now nothing has changed, I can't schedule an appointment. I was due to travel on the 4th of October for a tech event and it is on that DS-120 I paid, what happens now? since the event is tomorrow? I can't change the information on the DS form since I made the payment on that basis. TBF, I have had staff pick up my calls and I know this because of the accent, when the Americans speak and when asians talk I know who I am talking to. off recently it is even the Americans that have been picking up my calls. Hello People, I was so sure that I was coming to share a testimony here o! Alas..... I received an email from the embassy asking me to come in for an interview with a copy of that email and a government issued ID. How did i get here? I sent an email to Lagos NIV that they should return my port, it's been so long and I have commitments. Now they replied that I should come in for an interview. This doesn't change the fact that I need my port back, we will attend to this interview at a later date (Dec 1st). They've not answered me! QUESTION: Please did this happen to anyone before? Did they release your port? |

In your present scenario: 2. Your 221g or IW requires you to appear physically for some questionnaire, which is an hopeful situation, but if you insist on having your port back, then, the embassy would not have a choice, than to engage their policy as described in sense -1 above, and have your port returned. PS: If you are a wanted criminal , or your name match that of a wanted person, or you have impersonated the US government or official etc, in your current VISA application, then, the USA embassy will not return your port. 🙏 1 Like |

Please has anyone faced this issue? What do I do. Did my Visa interview on 13th September and it was approved. I have waited for mail for collection of port.. none has come. I checked the OIS on 26th September. Said port was ready for collection, booked an appointment and went there and they said they did not have my port. Since then it is showing port not ready for collection on their site, no email too. What do I do? |

That'snot the reference number...the reference number is the one after your phone number on that paper , Amentum reference number...coud starr with any Alphabet.
