Also baffles me...
You can afford 30million naira, just for education, yet you are saying this country is in shambles you need to Japa... Lol.. well, sorry for them but NO SORRY

If it is truly for education, some people can still argue in defence of the spending. But we all know that it is basically for an opportunity to japa for economic empowerment. So, if that's the case, why couldn't they use that money to set up business in Nigeria? 30 million naira business in Nigeria would give you at least 2 million naira profit monthly.

1 pound is 1835 naira or so now.

No Sorry!!!
They don't view the country as being valuable.....
Both family and friends will encourage them to sell all their properties, collect loan and Japa...
When they die or get old, thesame family people will say "Come back home" because Nigeria is burial ground or retirement home...

UK study visa is a point based which means if everything is in place your study visa is 99.9% unlike other countries…

But it so unfortunate that Nigerians and some African countries citizens are about to destroy that privilege and opportunity..

Travelling in itself is not bad but one must be calculative about the whole idea

I have always prefered Finland, Norway, Australia\Newzealand to UK and Canada. I love FINLAND so much!
Bro, am considering Finland for schooling or working, which one is better and more easier?

I recently heard that Finland issued 5years visa application for international students, are you aware too?

Your response will be appreciated!

Nigerians should avoid university of Sunderland, Teesside University etc please they are heartless

It's really annoying to read some of these comments. If only they knew how these schools suddenly became dracunian in the approach to collecting fees, they may be more considerate but I believe it's envy, envy cos they know they have no means to get there, so there are just angry another did.
The first part of your response was fact. The later part sound like somebody's living in fool's paradise!

All these mushroom UK universities sef. Total waste of money. I'd rather study in Nigeria, even Ghana and South Africa than waste my time and money in the UK.

People don't think anymore. Herd mentality of doing what everyone is doing

I'm a bit confused, sorry if I sound ignorant. But these people look mature in age. Like late twenties early thirties, mid-thirties even. How does the economic crisis in Nigeria affect them? Do they depend on their Nigerian relatives to send them money for schooling? They can't get jobs in the UK then? If I hadn't seen their pictures I would have assumed they were teenagers or people in their early 20s. Or they don't have time to get jobs because their schoolwork is so time consuming? So long as you follow requirements you can definitely work on a student visa, even if it's just during vacations or just on-campus

First u speak like a child. This are MSC students and age doesn't define who go for MSC.

Secondly most msc student self sponsor their education. It's not easy to move outside and get job instantly as a student.

Tinubu messed up alot of lives home and abroad
Very terrible man
Because someone smiles, doesn’t mean they can’t be wicked
It takes a level of occultism to tune out human suffering and become plain wicked with your policies

To be sincere with you if you factor in cost of labour and amenities in the Us, some things are now more expensive in nigeria than the US

Infact goods and services are cheaper in neighboring African countries

But you allow only a few people import goods and put exhorbitant prices on them and jack up prices, increase taxes, refuse to pay wages equivalent to how much you devalued the currency, killing off companies and employment, increasing electricity tariffs, allowing Dangote to collect concessions in currency and crude but still sell at international market price when port harcourt boys can install local refineries and supply us but you shoot at them instead of investing in them to produce in a clean manner, you concoct contracts that we don’t need and allocate to your Lebanese money launderer with no bidding process and say it will cost 1/4 of the total of Jonathan’s budget just to build one road, you increase allocations to everyone that can fight you except directly to Nigerians.

You’ll pay for your sins in equal measure as you’re dishing them out, God willing

This can be so frustrating honestly.Thats why it's always good you do your research very well before you even think of travelling especially for relocation purposes.

Which research do u need that is more than Nigerians in abroad telling our people that abroad is not easy. Don't sell properties. The next is "u are there advising us not to come" u are wicked u are selfish

As a student u hardly find jobs.. It's stated on ur visa that u can only do 20hrs and employers when they want to employ u will ask for a code to check ur work permit... 100% all employers will ask for this code and then they see 20hrs restrictions they won't further the employment. They want full time.

UK is not Nigeria where jobs are not organised. Even if it's to wash toilet u will recruitment process that's like bank recruitment process.

Any company that employ anyone without permit could be fine 60,000 pounds per person employed.

More also jobs for student no de.

I see. So you can only be heavily reliant on your savings most of the time. Thank you so much.

There's no jobs in Middleborough where Teeside university is located, some will have to travel to other major cities to work 18hours a week to pay bills.

Covenant is rated higher than it. Even UI and maybe Unilag. Teesside is scrappy university in the UK. When universities in the UK are mentioned, Russell Group of universities are the most important.

It's expensive to enroll in Russell group of universities
