Whenever I see comments like this- I always smile as I know a hypocrite is talking.

Not only did you not even bother to read the article (which is a sign of intellectual laziness) but you embarrassed yourself by making arguments that a secondary school pupil may see logical holes in.

The article plainly stared that the students were itted believing that they had 7 payments to make to conclude their studies but the school switched it on then and reduced it to 3.

That itself is a breach of contract and in developed countries is a good indicator of a winnable case.

You went on to make more silly statements claiming that ALL of them were owing- yet the article clearly stated that some had concluded payment but made their last payment after the deadline.

Let me stop here.

You and those dull people that liked your post deserve each other

l have read the article but l didn't see the 7 payments versus 3 payments you are talking about shocked

"they provided proof of funds at a lower rate". pls explain it further or clearly.
Good afternoon.
Ibukune:

some of you don't understand simple ideas, and you won't ask questions. They provided proof of funds at a lower rate, the instability in Naira made the fees useless.

A very fvcked up country. I would’ve been a victim if not that I quickly liquidated my naira and converted everything to USDT when this useless istration came onboard. Suggested to some of my friends then to do the same but they were adamant, waiting for the useless CBN tradersystem until naira collapsed. Some of them are already back in naija as they couldn’t pay and some are still here roaming around.

FG policy has turned naira to tissue paper and now you guys must come back home to enjoy your Band D electricity of 2hours per day then find any job and start earning N54k per month .
You can't buy more than garri with it o and you must find a way to live close to your office because bike man no go hear story and fuel station will charge close to 1k per litre.

Crap as it is, no Nigeria university comes close.

Covenant is rated higher than it. Even UI and maybe Unilag. Teesside is scrappy university in the UK. When universities in the UK are mentioned, Russell Group of universities are the most important.

So sorry about their situation, but saying they were unable to pay their fees due to economic situation in Nigeria is largely false. It has to be the economic situation in the UK.
Do they have Naira saved in the they used as POF? No.
The unavailability of form A, a method of payment that allow them to pay using subsidized FX rate is another reason why they are in that situation.

Crypto is just as volatile as your Naira.

What end? See to be frank with you, spending over £30000 for education, minus other expenses in pounds, after the education and you begin to hustle, more than 75% of the people won't be able to gather up to £40000 when finally coming back to Nigeria...
So that begs the question, "To what end"?

It's a dead end. A dumbazz decision and a waste of money.Looking at their pictures, one can see that they are struggling people who just want to Japa to the UK for bragging rights. Anyone who can gather 30,000 pounds in Nigeria should stay in Nigeria.

One said he's studying social work for christ's sake. Most of them have no plans to return to Nigeria in the next 30years.

Please, do not blame the Uk universities.

We all know the proof of fund is all a ruse.

We all know that visa agents deceived lot of them that they will make 100k GBP within 6 months.

We all know that most of them rely on working in the UK to pay their tuition fees.

UK universities are not doing charity, and UK government will not assist non citizens in any regards.

We advised them but they called us enemies of progress.

Pay now or get booted out of the UK.

Majority of them are heading to Ireland to claim asylum and Ireland is already angry that most asylum seekers are coming from the UK - the outcome of such asylum cases is already clear as daylight.

They are in the middle of nowhere right now

This can be so frustrating honestly.Thats why it's always good you do your research very well before you even think of travelling especially for relocation purposes.

Do work that can pay off your school fees in the UK is the fastest way to wake up in MM airport in Lagos
