mrksquare:Has any court instructed ifeanyi uba and the 27 lawmakers to vacate their sits? Go and watch Enemis Alabo George's interview on channels, the National secretary position in the PDP is in contention. I told you that they are not kids, they've done their homework. Last week the speaker also got an interim injunction preventing the house from convening if the in attendance are less than 25, the defendant in the suit were asked to pay 1b if that order is breached

mrksquare:what can you say about ifeanyi uba? I watched Enemi Alabo George on channels, he has a valid reason for defection, there are no small boys, they have done their homework before defection and up till this moment no court has declared their seat vacant, I know you're tilting towards the other side but it is what it is |

Stupiid politicians, how many local roads did you build in the past 7 years?
|

Beer parlour suggestions, can you do a search on how much it costs to build a modular Refinery. State government are not done fixing trunk B and C road, and you're suggesting that they embark on building a refinery. The problem with you internet people, you think it's easy to run a country like Nigeria after decades of mismanagement by previous government since independence, let's assume state governments somehow get the funding to build refineries, how long do you think it'll take the refineries to be up and running from this moment. |

Mayeldah:when will commenters on nairaland stop engaging in needles tribal baiting? All the roads are bad, from surulere to ajah to ikorodu, it has nothing to do with tribe |

ednut1:The governors use the money to embark on high ticket projects, as a state all the roads in Lagos should be in good shape, it's the least they can do considering the money they generate, the state is also supposed to constitute an active Road maintenance board. Fashola's istration constructed numerous major and internal roads, my street in surulere then was tarred during his tenure, ambode and sanwo Olu failed to maintain those roads, they embarked on high ticket projects, like terminal in oshodi and other projects. If a state as big and rich as Lagos and being touted as the best state in Nigeria can't fix and proactively maintain their roads, then Nigeria as a country is not making it out of the trenches |

mrvitalis:you borrow and borrow and you think in one year the economy will bounce back from borrowing to fund businesses? Do you know the amount of money the local content board and the NNPC has invested in refineries that are being built in Nigeria? When you borrow to give the manufacturers, how long do you think it'll take for their businesses to be up and running? Because you see everything from a political lens, you probably think Nigerians won't suffer from the past istrations ineptitude? You think a man will come and overnight they'll be jobs everywhere? 1 Like |

mrvitalis:People like you think everything is politics, where is the cash for subsidy? Where is the cash to defend the naira? Just look at the number of ignorant persons that liked your post, maybe we should make you president of Nigeria. Nigeria is in a big mess, regardless of who is president, at the moment the country is in a bad State financially. 1 Like |

unite4real:They are not misquoting him, he spoke about the road last week, he said the road is being constructed by a private firm, upon completion, it will be tolled to recoup the money invested in the project, he says the road will be 460km in length, if you're an engineer or you're into road construction, you'd know that before a project is awarded or embarked upon, the length of the road is usually calculated. Why not wait for the project to be completed? Are you insinuating that the private company will embark on a project without taking the length of the road into consideration? |
![]() |
unite4real:Do you know more than umahi who's an experienced Engineer? He has done his calculation on the new route and he says it's 460km in length but an unknown person on the internet who's is probably not an engineer and is not privy to the road plan says it's impossible? |
![]() |
Ventura1:460km, it's a new road entirely. The old road is 700km in length. |
![]() |
Judolisco:nope, he's constructing a new road. 460km in length, I have read the comments on this thread, people don't care to know the details of the project hence their disbelief and skepticism. The existing road to Abuja from Lagos is about 700km, if he pulls this project off, Lagos to Abuja will take about 4-5 hours 1 Like |

Mrsoft3:Nigerians are generally ignorant on social media and in the future, these seeming ignorance will make the country implode if the government doesn't embark on massive reorientation. The companies buys the crude oil at the international benchmark price for crude oil, as a private establishment, do you expect them to sell fuel at subsidized rate? Why not build your own refinery and sell at a subsidized rate? 1 Like |
