A House of Representatives member from Rivers State, Solomon Bob has exonerated the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike in the ongoing political crisis in the state.

Speaking in an interview with TheNation, Bob who represents Ahoada East/Abua/Odual federal constituency says Wike who was the immediate past governor of Rivers state is only taking steps to protect himself from being killed by the man he helped to succeed him as governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

Speaking further, Bob a ranking member in the House of Reps said Governor Fubara couldn’t have won a local government election on his own in Rivers because he was unmarketable and unsellable.

His words “First, there’s no turf war. The governor’s behaviour is outrageous; he is promoting division and primordial ethnic sentiments. Then, it seems that maybe his entire article of faith in government is to destroy his benefactor. There’s no turf war. Nyesom Wike, is a politician. He didn’t make Fubara governor to have himself annihilated. He didn’t make this man governor to be killed thereafter. He’s taking steps to protect himself from being killed”.

Fubara is fraud , imagine if he hasn't backslided by now he would have been in Abuja and traveling with Mr President to woo foreign investors into Rivers State. But Wike tried to ensure Portharcourt Rifinery becomes functional. I can't wait to see Fubara apologize and obey the court orders so Rivers State can take back it's position as Investors choice.
