In summary they repackaged mimikos award winning work in ondo state back then and called it groundbreaking.Something the whole world celebrated, mimikos even got a world bank appointment I think.... Cant how that went Unserious country, that mimikos model sounds even better than this and with more detail, they mapped and clustered all expectant women, gave all of them mobile phones and has dedicated health workers attached to them from their lgas and the results were phenomenal. It died out after him.something the country should have scaled up and adopted meticulously in all states. These ones have come again too. Everyone wants to achieve accolade for ground breaking. We have heard o groundbreakers.... What we want to hear next is our this is now the new status quo for Nigeria moving forward. Awon groundbreakers.... 1 Like |

Did you all read the topic at all. The topic itself is the reason for japa.... FCT has not employed house officers since 2004. The same FCT that closed a particular ward because an overworked Dr left. In summary Drs are not been employed enough by these centers. There are so many house officers waiting for posting that they have decided to protest There are many overworked Drs because facilities are under employing, and those sitting idly for posting would naturally japa. Does it all make sense now? 2 Likes |

Justice must not just be served,it must be seen to be served Publicize the outcomes of trials over the years of those caught, have a fast track court for them (special courts) Mass killings is not a minor matter, the uk had to stop it's citizens from viewing that sort of news for their mental health, how can we now let bureaucracy make us handle it with kids gloves..... Justice must be seen to be served for closure for the communities and for serving as a detergent in future. Let us always children and babies were been killed with machetes in the affected communities ,whole communities displaced... How do we stay silent and continue as usual in the face of such attrocities 1 Like |

It's important to that these are not mere bandits but murderers that have been on rampage for over a decade. From dogonawa to many other villages in the plateau the killing have been horrific. They killed babies with machetes, and women and caused terror and murder among poor helpless people.they did not stop at killing villagers at night, they returned mostimes at the burials to kill their loved ones that gathered,it was their modus operandi The ragtag bandits are not the only culprits, there are true sponsors behind them with what looks like a long term agenda to change the demographics of the middle belt as we know it. These are the people that ought to be fished out as well. Is Nigeria really so clueless as to the sponsors? Let us that whole villages have been wiped out in the north and that the yoruba speaking parts of Nigeria State are majorly the parts under siege in Nigeria State as well. Who are the sponsors. |

Angelfrost: No he is not ,you cannot know more than the Minister of labour at that time who was also a Dr.... Nigeria does not have enough hospitals private and public to retain its doctors. There are more unemployed Drs than those that are employed. And it's worst for the specialists... Imagine finishing your specialization 6 years later only to find yourself unemployed and broke with no prospects literarily and a family to feed.. What should you do next please..... The real discussion is we don't have enough hospitals to hire our Drs,till you all address that, bandying silly figures around mean nothing 1 Like |

I see the challenge in the historical back and forth here, It's a timeline challenge.... There's the pre oduduwa timeline The oduduwa timeline Immediate post oduduwa The Portuguese era The British era And then Post british era ( regional govt) You'll have muddled it up as one truth which is not the case. Alll had different rulership scenarios at these timelines...( please note the timelines referenced are for illustration only, not the official timelines in any way).As such it is possible you are all correct to an extent.... Like many cities in the world, Different kingdoms ruled over Lagos at different times. |

So he realized she has no value when he turned 50. After using her all the while for himself, his kids and other kids from others Responsibility in men means a man takes charge of a family unit and it's future amongst many other things. In women it means sacrifices for that family unit trusting in the effort of the team to bring great rewards for all parties in future. This new mentality been perpetuated is for the women to learn from, never sacrifice your growth for anyone, never marry a man that is not responsible. Lastly this ideology usually comes from men who grow up underprivileged. Those who grow up in wealth cater for their spouses mental and financial well being even in divorce. Women should do better. Not every man is a MAN 2 Likes |

Nigeria has shown great interest in this kind of games for celebrating war veterans ,the military and CDS appear to be very interested in promoting this strategy It makes a lot of sense too for a country like ours They invited Harry when he was pariah for that purpose, and now they finally get to understudy it Why would Canada deny them visas and you all don't see it as aseju It's for us to deny every single Canadian to nigeria visa in response... For like 1 year to start with You all will ask how it affects them,... Statement noni..dass all. Statement,we must make our own statement through visa denial in return. I'm sure very soon one their big fish will also forget and want to waka waka to Nigeria,... That will also be the time |

What were they doing when ngos were hyping and promoting that nonsense...sleeping as usual and not thinking ahead. Our ability to speak fluent English places us at an advantage ahead of many Asian countries and others to compete for offers on the global stage If they like they should relegate that advantage and make English a super costly skill to aquire like in Korea It is still the same poor and their children they strive to protect that will suffer.not all policies in in our interest long term,we should raise global citizens, promoting bilinguism is different from promoting mother tongue teaching primarily.... |
