-Do annual fundraisers and take fund raising seriously.

-Open think tank sections and have your staff work as consultants.

-Reach out to your old students in high places for grants and leadership on national and international projects by university teams for all sectors , Goverment , private and the third sector.Use your lecturers and students to implement as part of coursework.Thats how schools do it abroad.

Compared to other sectors the officials pay of lecturers abroad isn't remarkable. I have seen their openings for 2000 pounds monthly.Their other through income is from such extra gigs

No one knows what ASUU wants clearly.

Mine is if ASUU believes its fair to mortgage 2 year's in the lives of their students , they must be honourable and refuse their salaries for those 2 year's too. They cannot refuse to work and sabotage students lives for over a year at absolutely no cost to them.

Anything short of that and they are just a bunch of dishonest people, rogues who re no better then kidnappers.In this case kidnapping the future dreams of poor young Nigerians.

A strike that has been promised to last 2 year's is no longer a strike.Its something else.It means ASUU will not get its desired results through a strike but is prepared to sabotage young lives for its desired results

ASUU needs to look at alternative sources or ways to raise the funds it needs and push for That in a way that does not mortgage the life of those it exists to serve.( students)

ASUU and Dr strikes over the years in Nigeria has been pointless.What do their colleagues abroad do to raise funds?

1.increase the quality of education to attract foreign students and bill them appropriately

2.Apply for grants and get the overheads.Nigeria is filled with foreign universities running one project or the other to Nigerian Goverment on various endeavours and collecting multimillion dollar grants to execute. Not one single Nigerian university in sight.Is is that the ones IN naija dont have brains?

3.ASUU asks for respect but treat its students like trash.Have you not heard that it is your c students that will give the school endowments? What happened to fund raisers and the search for endowments? It doesn't matter in Nigeria because Government must provide all the funds. Hope you all know that the bulk of IVY league funding is not from their fees but from endowments

4.In summary ASUU should find alternatives but seems to have no sense ,and they are evil for not having devised alternatives to the strike. They definately dont deserve to get paid for striking.

Ok needs more than the Christian votes only.Theres a voting pipeline in this country.Its tied to certain individuals.its like how games of thrones families all have allegiances.

Identify the unhappy ones, give them attention and win them over.

Obi needs more than christian nd south east only votes to win.more than half of the Christians won't vote.

1.Create an emmergency hotline for all pastors and christian communities to call in the case of an emmergency such as this

2.Create a call center place.like MTN call center to collate such calls.it must function 24/7.

3.Liase with Goverment for a dedicated response team that does not need long approval process.The response team must be able to respond at the teams discretion.They must be in evry LGA.They can also have volunteers under their supervision

4.Invest tithe money in amoured vehicles and personal protection gear for the response team, the way( Lagos invests in the rapid squad in the state), satelite technology and a situation room to have an operations center where experts actually monitors the operation

5.Have reports writren on every operation and monitor the trends to improve the system

Please note that all the above steps are ;
-cheaper than a private jet.
-easier to maintain than private jet landing fees.
-More sustainable than tellinng people to defend themselves.

i did a holiday job in an insurance company a 2017 just a few month before i went back to school to for final year..i can count nothing less than 30 of them that walked in for comprehensive package...a fee of them insure life...but most of them insure only their trucks cos they know they are gettimg a new one of accident happens, which is common in their line of business

..even the illiterates among them understand insurance...this one should carry his entitlement mentality to his house...
