Yes I have been refused before in 2023 and I clearly addressed each line item in my cover letter.

The entire refusal was anchored on the inexistent refusal letter on the said date.

I included quite a number of evidence.

I’ll add both the screenshot of the refusal and the list of documents included below.

You can attach it. Though they will still access the application with your ID.

What was the previous refusal based on? Are you sure you have corrected all that was given as reason and the circumstances have changed.

If you are sure, then give it a shot.

I am not going to bother re-applying , UK is not all there is to see in the world and 8 months is totally worth waiting for to get justice. I just need guidance on how best to pursue it and how to write my PAP letter properly.

Of course the letter will be titled as Preaction letter.

State your name on port and application number.

State what happened, what you believe is wrong and what you want to be done.

Make it simple.

You should get the first response within 14 days.

We're you refused before? Was date of refusal the only error? Was that the only reason for refusal?

They might stick to the decision at the end or turn it around in your favour. It all depends on how solid your case is. If you have met all the requirements to be qualified for a Visa and the officer made a mistake.

What's the difference in uk 6months, 2 years, 5 years?

Apart from difference in VISA fee, do you do anything different in the application of 6months and 10 years? Why charge higher?

This is how you people feed on ignorant Nigerians. And yes, it cost millions to travel.

I have no idea either + I never applied or got refused on the quoted date. The one I had from 2023, I clearly addressed in the cover letter backed with evidence for each line item in the refusal. I plan to send in a Pre action protocol next week challenging the decision as it was made on false evidence or allegations in direct contravention of: UK Visas and Immigration Entry Clearance Basics, ECB10.5 Burden of proof as published on the 28 November 2013.

Let’s see if that rattles the box or not.

I’ll be sure to keep you updated.

This process could take up to 8 months to resolve. If you are patient enough you can try, else you can reapply addressing this.

I was about to, till someone said they just got decision for 6th November last week. So I decided to wait.

14th Nov, its another week. Being hopeful.

Does the person sending you invitation and documents, know you plan to japa?

If the person knows your plans, he or she should be in a position to advice you on japa.

I would advice you leave UK application for now. The more you change your figures, the more suspicious your application becomes.


You either take time off and claim self employed and build a new profile. Or you go and pay tax on the figures you have quoted you earn for 3 years.

1. The sponsor doesn't need to submit SOA
2. Yes, the PA needs to prove the relationship with the sponsor and source of funds
3. The funds should be transferred immediately if it is available, he can leave the funds until he gets a decision based on the application

When u said the applicant has to prove the source of funds, you mean the applicant needs to prove where the sponsor got the funds?

Also, appart from business registration of the sponsor, what else is needed to prove the source of the fund ?

Hello all, I am asking on behalf if a friend who's brother will be presented as sponsor.

Funds will be gathered from various people and paid into the sponsors . Then sponsor will then transfer to his as the applicant.

The questions are

Is the sponsors own bank statement required?

Does the sponsor have to provide any further documentation as to where the money came from?

When does the funds need to be transfered and how long will it be in the applicants ?

In the cover letter, he wrote he has an electronic store in Ikeja and he also owns a logistics company explained some lump sum. The ECO won't expect him to start ing of the receipts of sales from his business OR how do u present documents of payment receipts from pple ordering pickup rides everyday.

When I applied for my mom's UK visa and acted as a sponsor, i.only submitted my business bank statement and didn't even explain anything about the monet in the ..

He will audit is business and pay tax of the amount he claims he earns for 3 years and get tax clearance certificate.
