I wasn't happy about the incident but I didn't have choice than to make him happy. Having misunderstanding with just one customer can block many referrals.

I won't give him the Felicity inverter again after the repair.
I pray God will fill in the gap.
Amen to your prayers bro.

Good evening gurus in the house,

I have been using a set of 8 units of 240W s with the following properties: Voc=37v, Isc=8.2A
I just bought additional set of 4 units of 240W s with the following properties Voc=60V, Isc=5.2A

How best will they be connected seeing that the large voltage and current difference between both sets of s.

Thanks as I await your responses.

I think you should get a separate CC as I don't see how you can mix these s and get the full efficiency out of them.

I quite understood you, would have asked for clarification but was too lazy to ask ?

What you call shock is probably static shock. If it happens mostly when you charging from NEPA, then there's leakage somewhere.
if it's connected to Solar , then it's still static shock though this time, from a higher voltage source.

You see eh, unless one analysis and ask questions, it's difficult to just arrive at conclusion
You see how you messed yourself up with "static shock" theory.
Me lazy to ask...
Make I just leave you. I know your type. ITK

It’s not the battery but the inverter that is shocking or is it not connected to the inverter already?
He said his battery case is shocking not his inverter. Except you're saying the battery is having a with the inverter.

There's (partial) with the casing somewhere. MayBe those who did the packaging didn't do it well.

Abeg if you never open such battery before, abeg no open that casing BECAUSE wetin you fit see inside, relative to what you paid to acquire it, fit make you cry
I don't this will be the cause. Even if there's partial the voltage of the battery is merely 12v DC. It can't cause a shock.

My bosses in the house, please what can cause this iron handles on my battery to be shocking?

It shocks when you touch it.

Did you connect your ground (earth) wire to the battery?
Answer this first before I go unto the next.

Okay. Area command is good too. I will ask for anyone around that area or Mile 2.

Thank you so much Chief.
Just know that they are monitoring your every move here. So many marketers on this thread and some of them are from Alaba market.

My question for you is simple:
Can you let this go because of you mental health, even though it's clear that they stole from you?
1. If yes, let it go and make peace with yourself.
2. If no, don't reveal your next move on this thread again. They are reading it.

I am looking for a 48V and I have not seen a 15kwh for that price or close. I will gladly go for that, from a solid OEM of course. I dont want anything 24V.

I see two things here. It's either your mind is made up already and you're just looking for a validation to get either of the batteries or you're not getting what the people above are saying.

How can you buy 48v 100ah for 1.8m where you can get a good 48v 280ah or 314ah between 1.9m ~ 2.5m. It doesn't make financial sense to me.

Anyway, your money, your decision.

And one other thing cos I don’t know if this is important, my inverter can’t charge this battery cos it’s showing MCB main trip

Then you know your problem already. It's battery issue.
Try loading it this night as something here suggested.

Most of us here are having a misconception about how "inverter" air-conditioners work. The fact that it is termed "inverter" doesn't automatically amount to lower running wattage.

How do I confirm this is 314ah lifepo4? These are batteries from Valto.
the seller first of all to get clarification. He should be able to guide you properly as it may be an incorrect setup in your BMS.

Deriy no dey group, Haisic battery saving life..
Not sure any individual will lay their hands on Deriy at that price anymore. cheesy

Anyways, I just recharged the batteries back and it took in 291AH..

Selling it off at 420k, for willing buyer, I have about 20kwh batteries and 2 units of 100AH 12V I can play with. This 3.6kw is unnecessary to keep in Lab.

I am covering the warranty stated on the batteries in any case. grin

Teardown was aborted due to Build quality. Unless I remove Laser welding cells cannot be revealed fully.
I observed that this Haisic no get 24v batteries

Hello everyone, please can anyone recommend a lithium battery I can get for 600k
One of our guys here @Valto sells good lithium batteries which s have vouched for. He has batteries within your budget.

Another recent popular name here is cworth but reviews here has shown that they are grade B cells. I don't know how true it is.

The other one is Deriy battery packs.

If I'm in your shoes right now I think I'd go with the first option.

It wouldn't be also bad if you mention your overall budget for the solar system you're planning for. It will enable people guide you properly.

I'm facing same issue. Mine is CWorth's 350w(×3) equalling 1050w. The highest I've gotten during peak period is 535w.

I'm staying at the down floor of a 2 storey building, making it difficult and costly mounting the s on the roof. So I had to install it by the side of the building. So I'm guessing the building is affecting the PV's output.
It's not just the building. Cworth s are shit. I have 5 of them installed and the highest I have gotten from them at peak sun is 1.2kw out of the 1.75kw.

Even when I tested it with my multimeter before mounting it. The Isc is not up to what is on the label but the Voltage is.

Bro I am a newbie to all these stuff and I want to purchase a solid bybrid inverter or solar gen system. My apartment total load is between 1Kw to 1.6Kw. I am looking at a budget of 2.5m. Please advise. So many information out here. Gets pretty confusing deciding on what to settle for.
You can do pretty much with this budget

Many thanks. the issue seems to be OVER VOLTAGE DISCONNECT from the BMS . During the night with minimal usage, the inverter continues to charge.
Continues to charge from the grid or where?

Nice review, now I am torn between going for the TBB 5kw which is a transformer based inverter and also has a low idle consumption and this Deye. Which would you suggest? Also what is the minimum solar voltage this Deye can work with and can it work with diy battery without comms ?
Oga go and buy TBB. The inverter dy deliver, I no go lie give you. I don't know what the future holds but I don't see myself using transformerless inverter as of now.

My Cells are almost 4 years and this is the pattern I have been preaching. Me I charge as fast as possible and to Voltage that get my cells balanced.
100-20% on point, see attached is 30 days pattern, mostly charged and discharged to 20% range and cycles continues.
My Cells already Paid themselve and I still have as much as 95% capacity.

Educate us again, what are the charge settings for your cells? I mean the bulk and float voltages.

Thanks for reminding me. their two things my engineer told me that will be the case 1, maybe the battery is not charging well 2 the load management so he advise me to 48v because of our load on it, for the reason I can not open it to reconfigure it we decided to sell it off. Am not explain all this things to convince anybody but I the situations now
I think this your explanation is causing more damage.

Now you are saying reason for selling is because you upgraded to 48v?

Also, please I already have 2 Canadian s of 550 watts each and they both produce 75volts as detected by the inverter. The installer said that 75 volts is small for 2pcs of 550watts and that the s are not really 550 watts as written on them because of the volts. Please how true is this?

I want to add 2 extra 550w s though.

Thank you so much!

I don't know the kind of s you have but in an ideal situation most s like jinko and cworth 550W should give you around 42V each, amounting to 84V for the both of them.

Good evening. Is there a 7.5kwh battery on 24v for my 4.2kva inverter? I don't want to change my inverter but want to buy the lithium battery with a higher capacity. Is it possible cos the ones I'm seeing is 5kwh on 24v.
Yes there is. Deriy has 7.2kwh
