There is no hope for doctors in this country I swear!!!!!

No hope at all......

There are many doctors on Nairaland quite alright, but none would be able to effectively treat your child without physically looking at the poor child and examining him....

Please see a qualified doctor, not a chemist, not a quack, but a DOCTOR!!!

Thanks

Maturity and intelligence include accepting it when your error is pointed out to you. Stop twisting and turning this issue. The statement that slavery started in the 14th century is wrong. Slavery is slavery and all was done with force. The Arabs got their slaves through raids and wars. When Islam came, it laid down rules for the exchange and treatment of slaves but the trade had been going on for millennia. It's on record that the trans Atlantic slave trade that started in the 14th century not slavery itself.

and you are.......

1st of all arabs dont grow coffee, africans dont drink coffee.calling North Africans, bedoiuns arabs is even wrong, egyptians are not even arabs, tunisian are more european than arab.
Egyptians took slaves since the time of moses, they raided blacks and their own kinds,my point is no one willingly surrendered him or her own self to be a slave, they were raided/traded by their own kind and other races, till today the arabs are still keeping slaves e.g ISIS

My dear brother......

You're right in some aspects.....

But I never equated north Africans as Arabs.....

Coffee is gotten from the Arab word (kohva) so please.....

ISIS is a different thing entirely, abeg.... Slavery is still practiced in Europe if you must know.... Go to Italy and Portugal and find out.....

but King mansa musa had slaves he took to MECCA

That's what I'm telling my bro above that even African Kings had slaves before the Arabs came, but I'm sure mansa Musa still have the slaves some self esteem instead of chaining them and raping the women and whipping the men....

When I read stories of what those whites did to our forefathers, I was just in awe.....

Make I no talk much.....

Are you in Nebu's voice "misskidding me?"

so you mean Africans went to arabs to sell themselves to the arabs?wonderful.

Oga, there have been slaves in Africa before the Arabs came....

The Arabs traded their coffee and other items in exchange for the slaves of Africa....

Even in the Arab world there were Bedouin slaves....

So what are u saying

If the Arabs were as wicked as the whites in enforcing slavery at least the Bible would have said so.....

So cheer up bro

this is not true,Arabs were trading in african slaves before Jesus was born.

I guess you were referring to Atlantic slave trade.

Well there is a difference btw slave trade and SLAVE RAID!!!

Exchanging gold and coffee for the slaves was slave trade, and the Arabs still have the slaves a decent life....

Capturing and chaining free born Africans and shipping them to other places in very inhumane conditions is SLAVE RAID!!!

Hope you get....

Please I beg of you don't misinterpret my post, a MLS graduate CAN'T AND WILL NEVER BE ABOVE A CONSULTANT PATHOLOGIST AS BOTH ARE DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE PROFESSIONS

The is not a Google article but the link to MDCN website containing the supposed Act. But if you find it hard to believe I will post the soft copy of cap M8 here (check down to see it).

The MDCN like all other councils are primarily involved in training of its practitioners at the university and regulate their practice afterwards as postgraduate studies is out of their function (Same applies to other councils).

So of all postgraduate study MDCN regulate it's only Laboratory medicine? Doesn't that sound fishy (MDCN can't regulate radiology, clinical pharmacology, O & G, Surgery and ophthalmology abi).

The NPMCN is mandated with training in Laboratory medicine and all postgraduate studies not MDCN according to NPMCN Act of 2004 (visit NPMCN website >> go to and inform yourself).

Thanks and have a wonderful night sir

I am forced to quote you one more time.....

I didnt say MDCN regulates ONLY laboratory medicine (at least you have agreed they regulate lab medicine and not the post graduate college)

the NPMCN regulates post graduate training in all medical fields, once they become consultants they are no longer under the college, they stand on their own and are controlled by the MDCN....

there is no bias here, the same MDCN regulates house officers, medica;l officers and consultants in all fields including all clinical specialties, radiology and yes, LAB MEDICINE!!! the post graduate college deals with those who are undergoing further training to become consultants....

have a wonderful day too sir...... grin grin

I know you'd be quick to post this I'm not surprised but that's just what "they" want you to see but need I tell you none of these are in the main act dating from 1988, 1992, 2004 and 2010? Well sorry I'm neither insulting you nor medical practice oo but to be true to you, my brother its not there - No such thing (the words from Nassnig is binding and can't be changed by individuals)

Anybody can put whatever they wish to on any website after all they paid to host it. Back to the act, The MDCN doesn't control Laboratory medicine neither does it regulate clinical laboratory practice. I have the acts dating from 1988 MDPA to the amended 2010 act. Brother no such thing as whats on the MDCN website on the main act.
Besides MDCN doesn't and can't control Laboratory medicine the NPMCN does (post graduate diploma) by the act establishing it (NPMCN Act N59 of 2004) but the NPMCN doesn't regulate the practice of its graduates (the reason for my earlier question)

Below is your act, get it from Nassnig not on the front page of MDCN website (scam). NASSNIG are the custodian of this act not a website. The yellow letters should strike whats written on MDCN website brother

The main act is on MDCN website but yet they post another thing on the homepage (confused website). the act from MDCN website and compare to the screen shot you shared. Here's a quick link to "your" act.....Enjoy grin

Caveat emptor: If you want to know who regulates clinical laboratory practice ask and I'd show you (let me even show you) be your own judge on who has been insulting you

You may need to apologise if after seeing the truth and you are head bent on misinforming "your" teeming audience. Be bold to apologise after seeing the truth and not "my ignorance"

i dont blame you, i blame our medical elders, they are the ones that caused all this trash!!! their ego has led to their ultimate downfall....

this is all hogwash and balderdash!!!

and this is the last time i will argue with you.....

how can a post graduate medical college control the practice of laboratory medicine?? why are you bringing NPMCN into this

why are you so rigid

what you're showing me does not tally with what i know, please dont give me a google source again....

are you trying to tell me an MLS graduate is now above a consultant pathologist?? this is sickening i swear...
