chukskafor: No magic or hocus pocus was involved in this purely accidental shooting, of the sort that occurs every year in the USA where nobody bothers with any fetish chit. That is why hunters are required to wear bright orange vests in the USA - so they are not mistaken for animals 1 Like |

aylipple: Hunters in Nigeria are a superstitious group of people who believe in the most preposterous and improbable myths, prominent among which is the suicidal/homicidal perception that juju talismans can enable a hunter to become impervious to gunfire, whether deliberate or unintentional. This particular "bulletproof" mythology has led to the death of many hunters over the years because practical, common-sense gun safety rules taught to the military and police as examples, tend to be IGNORED by traditional hunters who recklessly fire their guns with the foolhardy and unfounded confidence that a few juju incantations can take the place of all firearm safety protocol. This scenario of "accidental" shootings has played out with tragic regularity in the forests of Nigeria and other African countries, whenever hunting expedition participants throw caution to the wind and fire their guns indiscriminately without a care in the world. Ignorance is bliss until one of those errant shotgun blasts rips apart the flesh and bone of a fellow hunter, at which juncture accusing fingers are pointed at imaginary "spiritual" culprits that can conveniently be assigned all blame for the occurrence of such avoidable calamities. 2 Likes |

Ironically it is seasoned hunters that are most likely to shoot a person by mistake, and here is the reason why. As a hunter gains more experience in the field, it becomes apparent that one RARELY sees the entire silhouette of a quarry so as to place a clean kill shot. Hunters learn over time to spot movement in the undergrowth, and then to ESTIMATE the exact location of the animal while taking aim. This ability to discern the movement of a creeping animal against the backdrop of swaying undergrowth on windy days is one of the elements that distinguish experienced hunters from rookies who still expect to see the entire animal before opening fire. The danger to fellow hunters arises when this acquired instinct to swiftly take aim and shoot at movement prevents an experienced hunter from patiently waiting to be SURE that what APPEARS to be an animal is NOT another human being. As a highly experienced stealth hunter who ONLY hunts ALONE by day or night due to this important safety consideration, I nonetheless recognize how easy it could be for a hunter who is part of a group to open fire on a fellow hunter in error. All this ridiculous speculation that the accidental shooting of a hunter was deliberate or caused by magical forces, illustrates that most respondents to this topic have never held a gun and never set foot in a forest to hunt real prey species that duck, dart, and hide in a manner that could easily result in accidental shootings unleashed by adrenaline-charged hunting party . 1 Like 1 Share |

If you recognize any of these antique handsets you are too old to participate in the Nairaland forum and must therefore stop writing and retire immediately to go home and watch over your grandchildren. That said, I am the proud owner of this collection of antique cellphones used in the days of yore when men were men and women knew their place. Before you laugh, let me assure you that by speaking on these classic phones I can communicate directly with Elvis Presley, Mike Jackson, Sanni Abacha, and even my late Uncle Bob who promised to will me a small fortune which excited me until I saw how small he meant. 1 Share |

grandstar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8wEGVIPJ_4 Holy chit man. The scenario you foresaw is already unfolding in Mexico, where Chinese gangs are now teaching the Mexicans how to mass produce fentanyl. Talk about the sum of all fears... |

grandstar: The Chinese criminals who export that deadly chemical to America are so eerily devoid of a conscience regarding the mass death that their products cause that one could be excused for speculating that those Fentanyl smugglers are not human but an entirely different amoral species of humanoid predatory creatures who simply do not care how many lives they destroy with their insidious product. The image of that Chinese woman on camera laughing and boasting about how their smuggling methods defeat US customs was utterly dismaying to watch. The depth of profound evil that it takes to be amused by such deliberate mass murder is difficult to watch and impossible to understand. 2 Likes 1 Share |

grandstar: Even cannabis smokers like me who would never touch any synthetic chemical drug are NOT safe from Fentanyl poisoning because that horrible Chinese-made chemical is now being found as an additive in ALL drugs sold on the streets in America. Many stoners are dead and buried now from smoking weed that they had no idea had been poisoned with Fentanyl. Suffice it to say I NEVER buy weed from anyone. I recently watched a documentary on the smuggling of Fentanyl from China to the USA. I was stunned and taken aback to see video footage of a Chinese lady sales rep for the criminal exporters of Fentanyl smiling and giggling as she explained how that deadly poison that has killed so many thousands of Americans is smuggled into the US with a variety of deceptive packaging ideas. The people who produce that poison are pure evil personified, yet they are so happy to boast about their murder spree that is claiming victims worldwide. 2 Likes 1 Share |

It is disturbing to see that Chinese-made FENTANYL, which is 50-fold stronger than heroin, is now being shipped into Nigeria. This is a disastrous development that is likely to give kidnappers yet one more method by which to abduct innocent people. There is no more lethal laboratory-made chemical in existence right now than Chinese-made Fentanyl. One cannot help but notice how virtually ALL the most toxic and deadly synthetic drugs in current circulation are made in China. It is hard to escape concluding that those Chinese drug manufacturers simply love killing people by the thousands worldwide while getting rich in the process without feeling even the slightest trace of guilt. A medical doctor friend in Chicago reminded me of how in recent years, organ-harvesting kidnappers in the USA have resorted to soaking dollar bills with Fentanyl while wearing protective gloves, and then leaving those currency notes clipped to windshield wipers or door handles of parked cars. At the same time, the criminals watch their intended victims from parked cars nearby, ready to carry their victims off for slaughter the instant they topple over unconscious after making with those "free" currency notes placed on their vehicles or even on the ground. Fentanyl is so powerful that even the tiniest trace of it making with human skin is sufficient to render the victim unconscious instantly. It is a bad omen for Nigeria now that drug seizures are recording incidents of Fentanyl possession in bulk quantities as shown in the above pictures published by the NDLEA. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd76Hxqf0

UniQue84: You have pointed out an important difference between cannabis which can be consumed after a simple sunny day drying process, unlike cocaine or heroin which require numerous chemical reactions to make possible their extraction and refinement from their respective source plants. For this reason, I limit myself to consuming dry cannabis flowers and have chosen never to partake of industrially extracted cannabis oil, whose manufacture requires the use of chemicals and has become something of a fad in the USA and EU. Natural is always the way to go, when it comes to cannabis and many other things we eat or drink. 2 Likes |

UniQue84: As a devoted and discerning consumer of high-grade cannabis in my trusty vaporizer, I must beg to differ with your claim that cannabis Is not a drug BECAUSE it is a plant. This proposition that weed cannot be harmful because it is a plant, is often used by my fellow stoners to distinguish the benefits of cannabis from the destructive effects of hard drugs like cocaine and heroin on the body and minds of addicts. While I fully agree with the notion that the RESPONSIBLE use of cannabis is perfectly safe for anyone over the age of 26, I disagree entirely with the suggestion that the goodness of cannabis is primarily because it is derived from a plant. My reason for embarking on this semantic hair-splitting exercise is that both cocaine and heroin are ALSO the refined products of plants, namely the coca shrub and the opium poppy respectively, yet despite being derived from plants, rank among the most deadly recreational drugs known to medical science. In short, therefore, while cannabis is a proven effective treatment for numerous medical conditions, and is also a very enjoyable substance to vaporize purely for the high, those positive aspects of cannabis should NOT be attributed to the fact that cannabis happens to have been derived from a plant, because the poisonous drugs called cocaine and heroin are ALSO products of plants, just like cannabis. |

Most likely cannabis is LEGAL in the states where rap star Nikki Minage owns homes, and the whole world knows that cannabis is 100% legal in Holland, SO, Minage applied the logic that since weed is legal at her point of departure in the USA and her airport of arrival in Holland, it ought to be safe to bring her favorite brand of connoisseur-grade cannabis for musical inspiration during her concert tour that kicked off in Holland. Well, Nikki Minage was ignoring the fact that even in the USA where 22 states of the union have legalized the recreational use of marijuana, FEDERAL laws that currently prohibit cannabis in aircraft that traverse state lines, are the laws in force within the USA. Ms. Minage will likely pay a fine for her weed seizure in Holland, before resuming her concert tour just a little bit wiser this time. |

aieromon: Human organ trafficking is big business in China where the government is a major player that gets its supply chain of fresh organs from prisoners executed over the flimsiest of excuses and then dissected by medical teams waiting aboard the execution ambulances. Given the disproportionate prevalence of Chinese nationals in all manner of illegality throughout Africa, running the gamut from illegal mining and timber poaching to gross maltreatment of African employees in Chinese-owned companies in Africa, allegations that Chinese criminal gangs such as the Triads are sourcing internal organs in Africa cannot be discounted offhand. In other words, one need not harbor a "bias" against the Chinese to recognize their willingness to do ANYTHING to make a dishonest buck, particularly when that deep and proudly racist hatred your average Chinese person has in their heart for black people is factored into the equation. 3 Likes 1 Share |

illicit: For decent human beings such as yourself and I, our minds instinctively reject the possibility that cruelty of the extreme nature shown in that video clip could exist, so your reluctance to accept that such a video clip even exists is understandable. I too initially considered the possibility that the filmed killing of that girl was simply a movie scene that looked a bit too real, however, the girl's reaction to that massive impact on her head left me in no doubt that what I saw occurred and resulted in a grotesque fatality. 5 Likes |

Westves: There does come that point when such imagery is best left unseen to protect one's sanity. I have now reached that point, and I consider my viewing of even those opening few seconds showing this girl's fate, as a mistake with lasting consequences to the subconscious mind. |

zeuss: A well-known Nairaland writer known as Gabriel has identified that video clip as being from Brazil, and he mentioned that it also dates back a couple of years. Since several WhatsApp s of mine all saw the video for the first time very recently, I incorrectly assumed that the caption added to that video, which claimed it depicts Chinese organ harvesters murdering an African girl, was factual. The video clip is extremely traumatizing to watch, but I saved it on my laptop despite being unwilling to watch it to the end. Hopefully, someone with a link to it will chime in and post that, but for now, I will extract a screenshot that is not too horrible, to show the opening scene of that nightmare.

GabrielYulaw: I was completely misled by the caption added to that video clip which specifically indicted the Chinese for introducing organ trafficking to Nigeria, and identified them as the assailants in this clip. Nonetheless, I will leave up this topic since it is relevant in as much as it depicts a fate that often befalls kidnap victims in today's Nigeria. You might recall a video posted on YouTube a couple of years ago in which a released female kidnap victim in Port Harcourt narrated details of the clandestine jungle abattoir where she witnessed human organ extractions in progress before her family raised her ransom money to free her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OCNDyK_vao&t=183s 1 Like |

GabrielYulaw: For real Gabriel? This video took on a second life and started circulating on WhatsApp just a few days ago. While I am relieved it is not as presumed by many, it still took the breath out of me. I became depressed over that clip because one fear that keeps gnawing at my subconscious is the specter of Chinese organ harvesters lurking among the swarms of Chinese nationals now making themselves at home in Nigeria and other West African countries. That video clip thus embodied that fear. I certainly hope you are right about the location where this was filmed. 1 Like |

NSNO: It is impossible to tell when this murder took place, but the beautiful young woman who was bludgeoned into a coma by cackling Chinese men was easily identifiable. I can only imagine what the loved ones of that girl will feel when they ultimately have their attention drawn to that horrendous video clip online. The shock alone would be enough to cause cardiac arrest in a parent subjected to that horror on film. 2 Likes |

NSNO: I am very reluctant to even look into ways of publishing this video, despite ing it into my computer hard drive since WhatsApp is likely to take it down soon. I created the whole story to entertain myself, and to highlight how amazing a detective you are to have detected that the WhatsApp video I mentioned is NOT going viral right now, and is merely a figment of my speculative conjecture brought about by my habit of smoking high-grade weed too frequently. illicit: I am 100% certain that someone who reads this post of mine WILL post that link. I received the video via Whatsapp but I have no idea where this snuff movie originated so I could not post a link even if I wished to do so. No sir, I would never fabricate such a horrendous scenario to garner comments in the Nairaland discussion forum. It is painful even to describe what that video clip shows, such is the barbarity it contains that I can no longer unsee in my mind's eye, and which torments me deep in my soul to this very minute. My reason for writing this topic was to alert Nigeria and Africa's young women to the fact that bogus employment agencies have quietly become the PRIMARY pretense that is used to lure in and capture women who will then be butchered alive for organs after being whacked on the skull with yam pestles. If I manage to save just ONE precious life with these words I have written today, then I will sleep just one little bit less fitfully at night. 11 Likes |

I watched the first few moments yesterday, of a video clip that horrified and sickened me to the extent that I barely slept throughout the night, on of being tormented by the utterly petrifying images I saw in that video clip that is currently being shared virally on WhatsApp, but which will in all likelihood soon be taken down due to the devastating story of abject horror that footage tells. The video clip whose link I would NEVER share, started with the image of a confused but still calm young black girl aged about twenty, sitting on the ground in a forest while Chinese-speaking voices chatter in the background as the cameraman, who appears to be a member of the human organ harvesting gang, calmly films the scene of stark debilitating horror that commences so fast my heart missed a beat. The young girl was dressed as though for a modeling photo shoot with a theme of beach attire. Yellow shorts, and a cleavage-bearing blue top. The girl was handed a flat metal plate measuring about 6 inches square and instructed to use both hands to position that plate on the very top of her head. The girl complied and was looking up from her seated position as though awaiting further instructions, when out of nowhere, a yam-pounding pestle was slammed with full force unto the girl's head in a massive blow from above, dead center on that small metal plate, rendering the girl comatose instantly. With shaking hands, I hastily stopped the video clip and staggered backward out of my chair in such a state of utter shock so overwhelming that I felt I might require medical attention. I never watched the rest of that video clip, but I did forward it via WhatsApp to a friend in one of the nation's security agencies, who informed me that extracted human organs survive the removal and refrigeration process better if the victim is STILL ALIVE while those organs, including the still beating heart, are surgically removed and placed into freezer boxes for export to China where the legal and black markets in human organs are booming and essentially unregulated. The security officer said that while the perpetrators who were heard laughing and chatting excitedly during that filmed murder of a young African woman were without question speaking in Mandarin Chinese, the specific country where the murder occurred could not be ascertained from that particular video clip. The writeup accompanying this video clip makes a specific mention of bogus "employment agencies" that have been set up to lure in and ensnare young women in Ghana, Nigeria, and other West African countries, using promises of lucrative jobs on offer locally or in the mythical "overseas" that so many of Africa's poor are preconditioned to regard as the place of abundance where dreams and ambitions reach fruition. The women who apply for such jobs, ranging from infant care nanny jobs to sales positions, then find themselves isolated among strangers whose job is to stun those job applicants with massive blows to the head, and then swiftly butcher them alive for every organ that they can harvest for sale in China. Beware those job agencies, African women. Beware of ANY job offer made by the Chinese in Africa. This video clip gives a harrowing glimpse into the depth of pure unadulterated evil that befalls so many young female job applicants who respond to adverts placed by organ harvesters in disguise, who are now tragically, on the hunt deep in the heart of black Africa. It is high time that the Nigerian federal government conducts a comprehensive investigation and registration of ALL employment agencies advertising in Nigeria so that the individuals involved in such agencies can be properly scrutinized and investigated to narrow down on those who might be in the business of mass murder for organ theft, in Nigeria, hidden in plain sight amid a climate of kidnap for ransom that disguises many far worse and surreally depraved evils. 12 Likes 5 Shares |

This sounds like a case of robbery by on-duty police officers using an official police vehicle. This is not unusual. Many Nigerian policemen subsidize their monthly salaries with income derived from armed robberies and extortion at gunpoint.

The subject of UFOs or Unidentified FLYING Objects dates back to biblical times on our planet, yet, another category of mysterious craft exists, examples of which have been spotted emerging from beneath the ocean waves, before then zipping off into the stratosphere without a sound, or alternately, arriving from the infinite cosmos above us, only to plunge beneath the ocean waves with the same ease they demonstrate when flying through the air. Here is a superb video clip that delves into the subject of USO craft, an acronym for Unidentified SUBMERGED Objects. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKSDNYLi65U |
