MichaelSokoto: They’re lying just to save their skin! What most likely happened was that they entered 18 years old themselves just so they could throw him in jail as the intention was to teach him a lesson! Does it make any sense that a 17 year old boy would lie and say he’s 18 knowing he would be thrown in amongst hardened criminals!? 46 Likes 4 Shares |

Jomonix: They’re desperately looking for ‘negatives’ with which to use to try and diminish his stature! They can’t find anything from his stints in public service, so they resort to using what his ers (real, imagined and fake) purport to have said against him! It gets even more hilarious when you see the type of characters those against him hold in high regard! ![]() 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Image123: ‘Street fighting’!? Assuming the Nigerian police said this, you mean you can’t decipher that this was an afterthought told to the media just to save face!? When moves were being made to get him out, at no point did his lawyer or anyone else say he was ‘arrested for violent street fighting’! I’m sure i’m not the only one who would like to know the exact nature of this ‘violent’ street fighting, so we can distinguish it from ‘regular street fighting’! But all this is academic! Fact of the matter is the boy is still a juvenile, yet your corrupt Nigerian police saw nothing wrong in locking him up with hardened adult criminals! This is what should preoccupy anyone with a conscience who is interested in fairness and justice! |

Image123: Dude, you’re missing the point! Probably owing to being blinded by crude partisan and ethnic leanings! The point is that the young man shouldn’t have been locked up to begin with, never mind ‘being treated differently’! You have no sense of justice and fairness to have made this statement you just made! 1 Like 1 Share |

GerogeI: 'Taxing your people to death'.....'overloading a loaded donkey'? Dude, it's common knowledge that Nigerians generally and Igbo specifically don't like paying tax and are notoriously stubborn and evasive in this regard! What s for the increase in IGR that you're wrongly identifying as 'overtaxing' is simply the Enugu state gov't living up to its responsibilities by ruthlessly plugging loopholes through which tax receipts leaked in the past, as well as widening the tax net to include those who weren't paying tax in the past or were artfully dodging it! And i say a big kudos to the Enugu state gov't! Everyone should be made to pay their fair share of tax! You can't expect nice infrastructure and policies from gov't then go AWOL when gov't comes around looking for you to pay your tax! Doing so says you're being sneaky and taking your tax paying neighbour for a mugu while seeing yourself as the 'smart one'! Give on to Ceaser what is Ceasers'! 1 Like |

Hotfreezing: Dude, are you trying to 'JUSTIFY' the exclusion of the south-east from rail infrastructure with the lame excuse that railtracks were vandalised in Abia? Please tell me you're joking! I guess your Buhari gov't either had a Delorean or a crystal ball they used to see into the future and know 'iron kwandem' boys will vandalise rail tracks in Abia, hence they excluded the entire south-east from a rail infrastructure upgrade they used Chinese loan to construct and which all of us will pay back!? Hotfreezing: Why do Ndigbo allow these type of characters post this type of trash without giving him the response he so richly desarves! This fella i'm quoting is one of those staunch Igbo-hating bigots, most likely Yoruba or Fulani, whose life revolves around ing the cheating and marginalisation of Ndigbo/south-east while equally ing or actively working towards his own ethnicity grabbing a disproportionate share of economic and political benefits from 'one Nigeria'! He would have read the heading of this thread and been elated that the primary airport of Ndigbo/south-east is YET AGAIN being shut down over lack of maintainance and safety-related issues, and took it upon himself to try and 'shout down' the expected protests and gaslight those protesting! His bigotry stems from his belief the Igbo are a 'conquered' people who should be cheated and held down, and that Nigeria belongs primarily to the Yoruba and Fulani! He's actions are no different those of one with a slave owner mentality bristling with anger and irritation when those he feels he has 'enslaved' demand equal treatment, dignity and justice! Dude, it was partly because Stella Oduah and the GEJ gov't were positioning AIIA Enugu to at least be on par with airports in Kano, Port Harcourt that your ilk hated her and the gov't she served under! We all can from where the dersion, cynicism and objections came from when AIIA Enugu was getting all this attention and arrangements were made for Ethiopia airlines to serve the airport.....making it truly international for the first time since the end of the uncivil war. Pre 2015...before the malevolent and evil Buhari/Tinubu/APC anti-Igbo lot arrived the scene, there was palpable prospects for AIIA Enugu. A new international terminal was being built and there was even talk of Turkish airlines serving the airport. All this was halted the moment power changed hands in 2015, and the airport has either stagnated or deteriorated ever since. Stella Oduah wanted to build new int'l airport terminals in Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Port Harcourt and Enugu airports. The proposal was taken to the national assembly for approval. Approval was given for ALL except Enugu airport, so the aviation ministry sort for funds in-house to construct that for Enugu while the other 4 used the approved China loan for theirs. The moment Buhari and Hadi-Sirika arrived the scene, CONSTRUCTION STOPPED for the one at Enugu while the other ones were not only finished, but Hadi-Sirika got approval from the national assembly to add more funds to expand the scope of work in their construction. TILL TODAY THE ONE AT ENUGU REMAINS ABANDONED, TEN YEARS INTO THE BUHARI/TINUBU/APC MISADVENTURE, WHILE THE OTHER 4 HAVE LONG SINCE BEEN COMPLETED AND ARE IN USE! Yet you want to sit there and accuse Ndigbo of crying wolf! I would it the runway reconstruction job done at AIIA Enugu during the time of Stella Oduah wasn't done well. This should be chalked down to poor monitoring/oversight of the project by the aviation ministry under her and/or possibly because she was distracted by the gangup you lot organised when you wanted to get rid of her after seeing the attention she was paying to AIIA Enugu....bullet proof car affair. That being said, it should also be noted and pointed out that our Igbo appointed to positions in central gov't have this annoying habit of not caring about their own region/ethnicity getting a fair deal.....or a disproportionately larger deal than others like we see the Yoruba or Fulani in central gov't do when they focus more on their own regions! Osita Chidoka was guilty of this....for the short time he was minister, he busied himself focusing on systems and procedures instead of focusing on attracting the real concrete stuff to AIIA Enugu. Our Igbo have this annoying habit of wanting to either be fair to all regions, ignoring the fact that their own region has been cheated for so long and hence should be given extra attention, or they want to please the Yoruba or Fulani president they're serving under to the extent they focus more on their bosses region and forget theirs. We see this subserviant and daft attitude play out a lot under this APC gov't, and even some south-south like Amaechi are guilty of this! For you to sit there and want to argue that the present dilapidated nature of the runway at AIIA Enugu is down to the neglect of Igbo aviation ministers who left the scene about a decade ago shows your intent at deceit and outright lies. We all can that after the unfortunate emergence of Buhar and his side-kick Hadi-Sirika, that AIIA Enugu was shut down again for a protracted period of time over the same runway. The fact it has become unsafe so soon after shows YOUR BUHARI/APC GOV'T DID A BOTCHED JOB AND THEY COULDN'T BE BOTHERED TO MAINTAIN THE RUNWAY THE WAY THEY HAVE MAINTAINED THOSE FOR LAGOS, ABUJA, KANO AND PORT HARCOURT! So try to be honest for once in your life and place the blame at the apropriate doorstep! 1 Like |

Julius Berger links up with Arab Contractors as the Port Harcourt road construction finally reaches the Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway way. Love what i’m seeing! Hope the entire road and surrounding areas are kept spotless to give a positive first impression to visitors arriving Aba through that axis! I would suggest the state gov’t doesn’t allow people takeover all the open spaces ading Port Harcourt road and the expressway and litter it with rubbish and unsightly clutter! Designated areas could done with interlocking stones and set aside for trading and other business activities, while the remaining large expanse of open space could be landscaped….levelled and planted with carpet grass! What we should be aiming for is a ZERO bare/open earth policy, as bare/open earth is ugly to look at and removes from the aesthetics of a newly constructed road! It also leads to erosion, dusty atmosphere and causes a build up of sand/sediment on the road! Clip courtesy SILVOK TV https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQT46egP4rQ?si=82nzmb1EESKRcmo- 1 Like |

Muthafuckers must have shat their pants in fear, seeing the local gov’t chairman and his aides jump out of their vehicles with steely determination and all guns blazing in response to their initial attack! The cowards must have promptly turned round and fled back into the bushes! My only regret is that none of the scum were captured alive!

MasterTeeUSA: I’ve always said INNOSON needs to list on the stock exchange to raise capital for expansion. You’re right about the Chinese and their state-backed companies that are capable of flooding any market with more competitively priced goods. He needs to upgrade his business model which, even though has served him well thus far, may not be able to going forward as China looks for new markets to make up for their loss of the US market! |

CyrusVI: A people carried along, consulted with, offered due compensation for any of their demolished properties, and who have no reason to think a state gov’t is targeting them for ethnic and political reasons would hardly come out to protest or take a state gov’t to court over the demolition of their properties! Do you see INNOSON are any other Nnewi landowner doing such in this case!? The reputation and past actions/inactions of Lagos state gov’t has brought about the mistrust certain communities have for them, so they’re not accorded the luxury of benefit of the doubt even if their intentions are noble and fair! You know the Lagos state gov’t could have an executive council meeting to discuss matters affecting the Igbo community in Lagos and there wouldn’t be any Igbo in the room!? This is despite the huge number of Igbo resident in Lagos and the contributions Ndigbo have made to the growth and development of the state starting from as far back as the early 20th century to date! Add this to what played out during the last gubernatorial election in the state and then ask yourself if the Igbo are really crying wolf or being unjustifiably cynical about anything regarding the Lagos state gov’t! |

trytillmake: Everywhere you go in Abia, the usual answer you get from Abians when you ask them how they feel about a Otti 2nd term is to say ’ya chiri gaba’! They’re even demanding he present his wife to run for governor after he completes his constitutionally allowed two ….that’s if they can’t change the law to get him a third term! ![]() |

The question isn’t if you would or wouldn’t Peter Obi in the next presidential election, as we all know you wouldn’t! Rather, the question begging for answer is if you will again work to steal his votes in Rivers, and now FCT, and help your emilokan boss rig him into 3rd place like you did last time around?!🙂

Botragelad: This is exactly how they managed to ’arabise’ the entire North Africa and parts of Europe! You know Istanbul was formerly and originally known as Constantinople….named after Emperor Constantine who was the first Roman Emperor to convert to Christianity! The city was Christian and a place Christians called home…that was until the arrival of the jihadist Turks who proceeded to Islamise the territory and eventually rename the city to reflect its new character. Similar was replicated in northern Nigeria with the Dan Fodio Fulani jihad and islamisation of large swathes of the region. Their upfront and overt Jihad was cut short by the arrival of colonialism in the 20th century, and it has now taken a covert and sneaky nature, but still yielding results! They’re now using their control of Nigeria, which naive and docile Nigerians handed to them in the late 60s, to continue the jihad and you now see them claim to be ’indigenous’ to states like Plateau, Adamawa, Gombe and Kwara! These are a people we’re told arrived from Futa-Djalon not even up to two centuries ago, yet they’re now not only claiming territory in Nigeria, but bossing the people they met on ground when they arrived and causing the entire country grief! I keep on saying it….their unholy intentions towards the rest of the country is the main reason they saw Mazi Kanu as a threat! Dude was exposing all their secrets to naive and docile Nigerians as well as the rest of the world, and they just had to find a way to silence the ’pesky nyamuree’! You can see how they threw caution to the wind and engaged in criminal illegality to kidnap him from Kenya! Only God knows what they had to give to Uhuru to get him to cooperate and keep quiet! Now with the cooperation of their Yoruba hegemonic allies, they have managed to hold on to him for almost half a decade, even in the face of a court ruling setting him free! What’s given them the courage to carry on with their territorial conquest of Queen Victorias’ Nigeria is their firm belief that greed, self-interest, envy, xenophobia and senseless political competition will always lead to cracks in the south and prevent them from forming a cohesive and unified front with which to challenge the ongoing Fulani conquest of Nigeria! 1 Like |

We knew EXACTLY what we were doing when we tried to separate ourselves from these medieval-minded thugs in the late 60s! Rutherford2019: Assuming what you say of the Igbo is true, you think the hegemonic establishment will sit by and look on jejely as a ‘hydra-headed Igboman’ gets his party presidential ticket, campaigns and gets elected into office to come and undo/reverse all the ‘legalised’ criminal advantages they have cornered for themselves from 1966 to date? You think it’s just by coincidence that no Igbo has been president or head of state from 1966 to date? ![]() Anyone expecting to effect a change in the status-quo and structure of Nigeria using existing political and governance mechanisms is one naive fella! ![]() 2 Likes |
