They will demolish anything just for road constructions. The only infrastructure they know is roads and bridges.

A people carried along, consulted with, offered due compensation for any of their demolished properties, and who have no reason to think a state gov’t is targeting them for ethnic and political reasons would hardly come out to protest or take a state gov’t to court over the demolition of their properties! Do you see INNOSON are any other Nnewi landowner doing such in this case!?

The reputation and past actions/inactions of Lagos state gov’t has brought about the mistrust certain communities have for them, so they’re not accorded the luxury of benefit of the doubt even if their intentions are noble and fair! You know the Lagos state gov’t could have an executive council meeting to discuss matters affecting the Igbo community in Lagos and there wouldn’t be any Igbo in the room!? I’ve always said INNOSON needs to list on the stock exchange to raise capital for expansion. You’re right about the Chinese and their state-backed companies that are capable of flooding any market with more competitively priced goods. He needs to upgrade his business model which, even though has served him well thus far, may not be able to going forward as China looks for new markets to make up for their loss of the US market!
