About $67,000 for a vehicle that is sold for bout $30,000 in America. Pure thrash. Even after duty and all, it shouldn't be this expensive. But yall are used to making abnormal profit more than the manufacturer.

In a saner clime this man should first resign and submit himself for investigation. Before an examination results are released, the exam board and thier committee must have approved that it should be released to the public. You can not come now and be claiming you are sorry. If not for the lawyer that threatens to sue JAMB that is how they will cover it . Who knows for how many years this has been going on. God will help our children
What if the board were the ones that orchestrated this whole mess? Both the registrar and board should give way let the IC conduct a proper investigation make the head roll once and for all. The man has spent 9 years there already, he ought to retire next year. He can be put on terminal leave.

What of the Nigerian Peace corps, he should sign the law establishing the outfit so they can take up the responsibility of guarding the forest areas.
Lol no be only peace corps. Solution is simple. Ask the Army and the NSCDC to recruit 50,000 men each, deploy 80% of them to the forest. They should also make sure they are deployed to their states of origin and are well equipped to the teeth.

The rate at which people are slumping nowadays is very alarming. The level of stress is just too much. The economy is not friendly at all.
I was telling someone the other day that I might relocate to the village soon and he kept laughing at my suggestion. Materialism is destroying Nigerians and we don't know yet. People kill, steal, commit bad act just to buy food, car, house or buy gadgets. Things when we no go carry go grave. The matter weak me.

Madrid is full of overhyped clowns in their attack.
Madrid problem is never attack. Madrid midfield is the problem. No one is defensive minded there, no one can transition from defense to attack easily there. The days of Kroos, Casemiro and Modric are over. Ancelotti haven't help matters as well. This Barcelona team is far superior technically and tactically to Madrid.

Ancelotti has no idea how to match this barcelona team tactically.

Not compromised yet and it has no catalyst?
Yeah. I mean the engine isn't compromised yet. I have only serviced the vehicle for over 4 years now.

I'm supposed to be buying a catalyst for my camry today, but with your comment, I think it'd be wise for me to at least have some patience and test drive it without the catalyst to observe it's fuel consumption, before deciding if I'd be buying the catalyst.
chill first. Use the vehicle and observe. A sound engine is the key thing. Catalyst doesn't really influence fuel consumption as such. Probably a litre or 2 difference.

That's so awesome, you got me thinking right now, that maybe I should at least, wait for my papers to fully be available, and then test drive It before buying the catalyst.

What year Is your camry?
2008
HarunaWest(m): 5:41pm On Apr 29
My camry has no catalyst. So far, fuel consumption is fair and I always turn on the AC whenever I drive it. Mine has a sound engine. It was purchased tokunbo and it isn't compromised yet.

The prices something else. Thank you for your suggestions. However, two of the places you mentioned seemed to always make the news for insecurity. Byazhin and Chikakore.
They are OK. I have lived in both places in the past. They have armed security guards for protection at night. Where there are security concerns are usually the isolated vincinities close to the mountain side.

Hello everyone, I'm looking to move to Kubwa, Abuja, next month as the area I concurrently stay in is no longer safe. There have been a couple of robbery attacks this year and more attempts are being made weekly.

I need a place where my family and I can feel secure and not have sleepless nights because we're not sure of what is coming.

By the way, I'm a freelancer and mainly work from home. So in addition to security, I'm looking for a place with an adequate supply of power.

Arab Road seems to meet these conditions but the prices of houses there right now are on the high side. The cheapest one-bedroom apartment is going for 1.2 million Naira and I don't want to spend more than 800k-1M on accommodation right now.

Is there a place in Kubwa that is still safe with a good power supply where one can get accommodation for less than a million?

I look forward to reading your responses. Thank you!
Arab Road, Chikakore,Some parts of pipeline and Byazhin are all on Band A. The problem na the Kudi. Quite difficult to get something cheap nowadays.

When will the Nigerian army stop this needless waste of the lives of its men? What is an FOB without air cover? How can an attack go unchallenged for hours and an airstrike wasn't called in? We waste billions in buying combat platforms and yet we lack the skills and know how to effectively use them.

It is a disgrace that our military would rather prefer to carry millions of dollars to buy fighter jets and helicopters that cannot give immediate eyes on the ground capabilities that a 5000 dollar FPV drone can. That is incompetence as far as I'm concerned.

Shocking thing is that boko haram carries out this attack and returns to their base without our military even knowing where the base is located. A cheap drone that hovers over the theatre can trail these attackers to thier base and the coordinates pin pointed for eventually strikes. We have none of that.

A competent armed force doesn't experience this kind of humiliation. Certainly not with the billions of defense dollars we have expended over the years. That it keeps happening is very shameful. It calls into question the training of our officers and men.

There's a combat footage going around where hundreds of jihadists were attacking a Burkinabe military base. What did the Burkinabe soldiers do? The sent a drone up that was giving them real time video feed of terrorist movements around the base. They then deployed a Bayraktar drone that with just 2 strikes, killed over a hundred jihadists. The rest of the terrorists got the message and fled. Not one soldier in that base lost his life. Does Nigeria not have far more money than Burkina Faso? Yet we don't even have a Bayraktar and this is something Turkey even gives for free.

The day we are ready for this thing to end it will end. But so long as people are using this thing to cash out, it will never end. Boko haram is a business the elite are using to cash out. That's the only way the incompetence of our armed forces can be explained.
After lamenting and complaining, you finally answered yourself. Indigenes, some armed forces, NGO's, some top government officials ,politicians et al dont want this war to end..The war has become a source of livelihood for many. The instability is bringing in madt profit..The black man isnt loyal to anything except his stomach..thats where the problem lies.

1980's - 1990's Dad was on his way to generational wealth level, but I guess poor planning and no zeal to push further put a spanner in the works. He still regrets to this day the opportunities he didnt take back then. Everyone is okay to an extent now, but not at the level that was envisaged.

I compared her with her mom. I once said "cant you see the way your mom took care of you guys" There was always food at home and the kids lacked no motherly affections.

Not my mother, her own mother. Are you saying as a young man, I am not supposed to have basic expectations from my wife? Mind her, her expectations is that I take care of the home which I am doing? It means I was probably deceived into the marriage.
Lol like you rightly said, you have been deceived. Withold all the priviledges for a while, claim its economic downturn and observe how she reacts. That way, you will know what you married.

Can CBN or FIRS threaten the executive and legislator??

Maybe you should read the post again.
Go and read all the nine pages before we begin to argue. The sensational ones were posted and everyone is already reacting to it. What the RMAFC did was to draw the governments ear and give advice on the best way to go. We keep allowing politicians to intefere into the affairs of our institutions. Look how docile and comical INEC has become. What the RMAFC reminded the executive was that some it is constitutionally empowered in regards revenue mobilization and fiscal policies and enactment. They should be carried along thats all.

Who wrote this rubbish calling an unelected bureaucrat under the Executive Government the final arbiter in a democracy?

The Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) principal officers should be suspended by the president with immediate effect.

Imagine unelected appointees taking over policy directives and the mandate of elected executive government.
The same democracy empowered them..stop talking gibberish....Its like usurping CBN or FIRS heads roles and you ask them not to speak out. Instead of us to build strong institutions, we keep building strong men. Nawa to una.

It's a very stupid rule banning Tint

And even if this rule is enforced, the rate of kidnapping will still not reduce, our security operatives are not proactive at all, can you not all commercial drivers and inform the public to only use the ed ones..

This is just a lazy way of policing and funny enough this rule will only apply to the common man, FCT is full of civil servants and while some use government car that comes with Tint, some that are not in service anymore and the s will still use tint as they are already used to it ..

It's just a lazy law simple ..na mostly people wey no get car go mostly am, them no go understand ..
This was exactly what i recommended. The government has failed in providing mass transit schemes. If not why will people board a total strangers car? How can a whole FCT not have a proper mass transit coaches/vehicles. Somethings in this FCT are so absurd. In the same FCT, pederstian bridges have become markets. Everywhere is littered with dirts and refuse, there is an influx of touts and undocumented immigrants here. These are what the minister should address . Its not by fixing AMAC roads and installing street light. Every other sector should be activated immediately.
