Funkyswagzz: In a layman's term, N500 was saved from subsidy removal while N2000 was incurred as debt from floating the Naira. So the net effect is minus - N1500. So instead of saving through subsidy removal, we are loosing heavily. This why the govt is borrowing more, taxing imports, electricity and everything to meet up with the wound it inflict on itself without proper guidance. Now you can see that there is no hope under this government. All those propaganda will not rescue the economy. We have to face the reality on ground. 3 Likes |

Well, my advice to you now is don't focus your attention on getting job. Rather focus on getting a digital skill. All these training ads you are seeing on Facebook are good. If God help you to choose the right one, by December this year, you be smiling and probably have some people working for you. You will then look for me to thank me.

raumdeuter:Stop this senseless narrative. Was the post of presidency meant for only Tinubu and Atiku. It is your type that would work for 50 years in one company because you are afraid of the unknown. 18 persons contested for president and it was only Obi's vote that stopped Atiku. So whose vote stopped Obi or you think that he has to right to win. 1 Like |

Good one, but some things are still missing. 1. When thugs disturb the voting in a unit or snatch the ballot boxes, nothing usually happen. The INEC would just look the other way. This is not good. There should a law that the votes from every unit must count. If a pooling unit is attacked by thugs, the result should be withheld until the elections are reconducted in the pooling unit. (Those in Lagos should understand this more.) 2. Vote buying is another problem the law can handle if the choose to. Vote buying should be criminalized, any person caught with evidence should be disqualified from the election. INEC and the law should show the way. It is easy to stem vote buying. I strongly the digitalization of the collation of results and real time transitions from the pooling unit with time bound. Any results not received within 30 minutes of voting conclusion should be checked. |

Love800: Okay, I don't know where to start because it is very broad. Insurance is a provision that one makes to replace an item that is valuable to him in case of lost or damage.. If you have an item you valued like a house, car, jewelry, anything. You will need to approach an insurance copy to insure it for an amount that would enable you to replace the item when lost, stolen or damaged. The insurance coy will value the item and told you how much you will pay to them monthly or yearly as the case may be. The insurance can be for a definite time or indefinitely. Then once the agreement is signed by you and the insurance coy, it becomes effective. If you lost the item within one month of taking the insurance, the insurance coy pay you the agreed amount. But if the item doesn't loss or damage the insurance company keeps the money you paid for themselves. If you insure something for ten million Naira, you will be required to be paying something like 5 thousand to the insurance company every month. If the thing you insure against did not happen, the insurance company keeps the money. if it happens at any point , they pay you the agreed amount You can insure property, your life and the life of your children and wife, goods in transit and many other things. You can drop your email for detailed lecture on insurance, the various types and how they work. |

EPIJOE:No, it doesn't work like that. Third party doesn't cover theft. Note, third party is for the other person who may involve in an accident with you. It is not for you that pay for the insurance. Note also that insurance is specific. Accident is different from theft. It is only comprehensive that covers all in one. 1 Like |

Slytiger:Interestingly , in 1999 those people gave OBJ over 90% of their votes and were not labelled tribalist. They did it again for OBJ in 2003. In 2007, they gave over 90%of their votes to Yaradua and were not labelled tribalist. In 2011, they did so for GEJ and were not labelled as tribalist. But in 2023, when they gave the same 90% to the person they believe in who happens to come from their region, they were labelled as tribalist. double standard. Check yourself , you will know the real tribalist in Nigeria. 3 Likes |

Assetosky:This is nonsense propaganda. There is different between real income and nominal income. Go find out the difference before you begin to spin nonsense. According to you their income is 60% but you forgot to add that their expenditures increased by 200%. So what have they gained? Simple maths convert the new allocation to the states in dollar and tell us how much it is and do same under Buhari and GEJ . That's the only we can understand you. 2 Likes |

VinnyBaba:You are very correct. They don't know. There is nothing like saving from subsidy removal rather Tinubu used his unguarded floating of the Naira to wipe away the savings. He ended up paying more in debts servicing. Now he came back to subsidy payment and managed float after doing much damage. He has borrowed more than Buhari to manage the problem he caused but some ignorant people says that he is making reforms. Truth is Nigeria is in a deep mess. 1 Like |

Ablesam171: When we serve in 1993, our allowee was N350. It was later increased to N700. Then after 3 months, the NYSC paid us all the arrears. It was reasonable then. So I trust that The NYSC istration will do the right thing. Mind you they are mainly military personnel, so trust them. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Reference:You are missing the point. Positive economic reforms are gradual in a step by step manner. You cannot wake up and start to fight the whole world at the same time in the name of reform. Believe me it can not achieve anything. Just like how Tinubu is destroying Nigeria from all angles in the name of reform. Trump should take one step at a time if he wants to achieve any positive impact. |

JASONjnr:No, you are missing the point. Trump's tarrif will not achieve any positive things because it was done in bad faith. Just like Tinubu waking up to say subsidy is gone without any government on ground. Nation's upgrade their tarrif gradually every time to achieve some economic objectives, but targeting the whole world at the same time in this bravado style in a huge joke. , no matter how big you are, if you cook for the whole world, the will finish it, but if the whole world cooks for you, you can't finish it. Trump need to be called to order. 3 Likes |
