I need quick advice on flight option.
What are my limitations in refere to the Airline, transit, and cost.
These are my research and option at hand;
Emirate. (300plus in Naira 27hrs travel time)
Turkish (1200 USD)
Egypt (570 USD with 31hrs travel time)

Egypt and Emirate would be preferred while my firm choice is Emirate because of the travel time.

Any other flight suggestion will be of great help and appreciated.

She said her agent told her its 6 months so she wants to start putting the money in her this December for next year September intake however I know its supposed to be 28 days but she is saying things has changed please help how true is this.

Not something you should argue over, go to the student visa page on the uk gov website and show her. Regardless it don't even matter she can put it can count 6 months, no wahala

My initial appointment was on the 15th but I came and hour late and they refused to attend to me, had to book again and I got the 19th.. but in front of me they let a man who was 1 hour late too go in. So you're just qt their mercy

Transferred to DMC the same day
Received by DMC on the 22nd of Nov
Got no NSF mail
Transferred and received by VAC 13th Dec

from the letter included in my port package seems like the decision was made of the 7th of December

Also my TB certificate expired on the 10th of the December, was scared I was going to be rejected because of that but I thank God

I had paid for super priority and it took 5 days instead of the 24 hours. so you might be right. but its not an isolated occurrence. A lot of people receive that mail left right and center here. you can cross check the timeline to get a sense of how much time yours might take

I was having a random chat with a friend today on things to be careful of when packaging applications and he said "once you start counting your 28-days PoF maturity, ensure you don't receive a substantial amount of money in the same , else you'll have to explain the source of the money". So in context, if you need 5m for PoF and you already have 5m+ in the , ensure any deposit coming to the within the maturity period is something below say, 50k per transaction. if you drop say like 500k or 1m in the , you'll have to explain the source of the money.

I kind of disagree with him, I believe the concern should be the money not going below the required amount. In the case where 5m PoF is required, and the opening balance is 5m, even if the closing balance is 7m, it shouldn't be an issue.

when I applied for my visa, I had 8m in my which was already 1m more that the requirement for my POF, and after that there was like 1m coming into the for like 9 days. lol I haven't gotten my port yet, hopefully this week. but from the paid email I sent, I was told a decision has already been made. I didn't even get a NSF email.

but another thing to factor in was that I paid my tuition in full, so maybe it gave them so kind of impression. to be honest i think it depends on the officer reviewing your application.

edit: i also want to add a lot of opposing views are also valid. you dont want to stress yourself with this plus extra added days to your application timeline. i wasn't even aware of the possibility of ing the money coming into my . if i was aware i would just have kept it at the required amount and left the

no I was never asked for additional document. Even with my current application. haven't even gotten an NSF email

Omo i had a similar issue with my Uni, the deadline for cas was before my POF mature date. They didn't move an inch and even refunded my money I'd advice you let them know, so you are sure aoout your options

Hello Justwise, Please I need urgent advise regarding bank statement for UK Student Visa application.

The story is that I opened a new Domiciliary Pounds just for this purpose and I put money into the in 2 deposits, 1 10k pounds and another 8k pounds. The funds in there have matured beyond 28 days, I've printed my bank statement and it only shows opening balance and closing balance but doesn't show any other transaction within the 28 days.

Someone told me I might be rejected because the wasn't active during those days as per there's no transaction on the statement.

I need to know, can I use that statement? or will it be a red flag and will jeopardise my chances. Please help me out on the best route to take.

My appointment is this Friday.

That's not an issue at all and you can never be rejected for that, what if that is the money you saved ? Uk has never stated that there most be transactions in the statement
