My wife has gotten ission for Masters and she is the sponsor. The documents she has is carrying her surname same with SOA. The only documents that bear her husband name is marriage certificate.
As a dependent will that b ok.

Please how do we go about it. I have ed the app and i cant find how to pay

Both are mega cities. I would choose Birmingham because rent is more affordable compared to Manchester . If you are Looking at course and school rating it's upto you to chose.

I was having a random chat with a friend today on things to be careful of when packaging applications and he said "once you start counting your 28-days PoF maturity, ensure you don't receive a substantial amount of money in the same , else you'll have to explain the source of the money". So in context, if you need 5m for PoF and you already have 5m+ in the , ensure any deposit coming to the within the maturity period is something below say, 50k per transaction. if you drop say like 500k or 1m in the , you'll have to explain the source of the money.

I kind of disagree with him, I believe the concern should be the money not going below the required amount. In the case where 5m PoF is required, and the opening balance is 5m, even if the closing balance is 7m, it shouldn't be an issue.

Please am I right or he is?

The name she use on the marriage certificate should be her official name going forward but all other names should be on the affidavit.

And note that it does not matter what name she use as far as during her filling of visa form she put ur information as her married partner.

To be honest I don't know. For instance, I received a nsf mail last week to show evidence of deposit into my above 1m. I had to scan deposit tellers of these payments to ukvi. U can imagine if I dint have these tellers.
So it is best not to show money above 1m in ur soa.
Just avoid the stress.
Am waiting for a favorable response from them this coming week.

Please If you are studying in Staffordshire University, I'd like some information on Trent-on-stoke.
What I am seeing from google search is not encouraging (High crime rate & lowly developed).
