thanks. I went on their (Aims) Australian Institute of Medical Scientist and saw my occupation listed.

1) you submit your documents for assessment

2) if you are eligible you write an exam in SouthAfrica( it is the only African country with a venue for the exam) this qualifies you to practice in Australia.

I didn't know there would be professional exams required. Pls is that the same for other professions?

The exam is by September, and you must have ed by 1st of June. I am not sure AIMS will finish my assessment(since it takes 10weeks) before then. June is by the corner. @mamatwiny

If you want to migrate as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, the exam is compulsory. Only MLS, medical professionals and some trade occupations write assessments, others don't.

Hello guys, my occupation Embryologist (IVF treatment. sperm, egg, testube babies, blah blsh) I can't find it under the shortage list. What I can find are1)

medical laboratory scientist

2Medical practitioner

3) biochemist under the CSLO list(which is what I studied)

I really have a problem knowing which I fall under.

Don't complicate issues . You can always link embryologist to biochemist.

As per embryologist, there is no defined occupation for it on the list.

Thank you so much! God bless you! Will I be accepted if I put in my msc with no employment experience at all? All my 3yrs experience is before Msc

As to state that offers nomination Victoria is one of them... Checked and there seems to be a rise for need for teachers in Victoria too.

If Victoria has no experience requirement for the occupation, you will be fine. AITSL may likely award you the experience anyway. Key is sorting the IELTS requirement.

Yes, teachers are in demand across the states especially science and language teachers.

Good morning everyone.
Please I have calculated my points and I can see I have a score of 85 for subclass visa 190 if msc is removed and double honors degree is approved. If msc is added I have 80 points as my three years job experience becomes null. I studied English Education, a four year course at Tai Solarin University of Education(4yrs course with certificate of B.A and B.ed and yes we did 7months of teaching practice). I have a masters in English and Literature studies(from Univeraity of Ibadan). And 3 years of work experience as an English secondary schoolteacher. I've written CELTA (which makes me a specialist in ESL) and have academic IELTS results.
Aim is to teach english at ESL level or as a Secondary school teacher till I do my phd. All my experience is before masters. Will they be accepted by AITLS? Destination is Melbourne.

I need to know before proceeding to pay for assessment with AITLS if my degrees are acceptable by AQF. And do you think I can get the 190 visa with my 85 or 80 points? I am single and unmarried.

P.S I also have a vocational result in fashion design from my university and an additional one year training with certification.

Thank you..

Attached are the certificate requirements Aitsl asked for

If it were to be VETASSES, I would have told you to add your MSc but I don't know how AITSL assesses the degree for TASUED. However, what I am sure of is that they are particular about teaching practice which every department of education does in Nigeria.

You should be able to get a positive assessment with your qualification. If you want peace of mind, you can add your Msc.

I don't think you should be fixated on a state at this stage. You should be concerned with state that offers nomination for your occupation.

Okay thanks alot will do asap. Ì am applying for a student visa at the University of Melbourne with fully funded scholarship please do I need to have funds in my if granted the scholarship?

This is my last question I pronise. God bless you

If it is an AL1 university, you don't need to provide a bank statement. However, the case officer may choose to ask for it. Not compulsory to include in your application except asked.

However, it is important you have the minimum fund required in case it is asked.

Thank you for the swift response. I am going for MPhil in Civil Engineering and its fully funded scholarship.

If you have experience in civil engineering and closely related occupations, you can start the process now. Check the PR thread as we are already derailing this thread.

I have dropped the question but no one is replying and Im in the middle of an application.

I want to be sure how seamless it is to get a PR as a student in Aussie and how many years of post graduate work permit you can get.

It is easy and not easy at the same time. It is dependent on a number of factors including your course of study which is very important and crucial to qualifying for the process. Your occupation must be on the occupation list and also must meet other points requirements.

Your first step should be to check the PR thread and read about the process and requirements. Studying in Australia will not automatically grant you PR except you meet the requirements.

Goodluck.

I'll get back to you when he is found, I hope he can still be treated at 70.....he was 70 in March.

The description of your dad's current presentation does not fit the characteristics of a bipolar disorder. He is not showing maniac symptoms, although there may be a depressive phase but the current information does not bipolar characteristics.

My guess will be early onset of dementia. You should take him for proper diagnosis at the hospital. If it is what I suspect, he is at high risk of absconding from the home and may find it difficult ing route back home which is likely why he got missing.

He will possibly require 24/7 which unfortunately your mum cannot provide. A lot of patients with dementia, especially the old women are generally classified as witches and wizards due to ignorance of the Nigerian society.

Please look after the man. Unfortunately, your mum represents typical behaviour of religious zealots who forsook the sound doctrines of righteousness and love to champion hatred and denominationalism. Such people are none of Christ except they repent.

Your brother grew up with poor foundation and will take the grace of God, committed person to help him realise his path will end in destruction.

I pray you all find peace and rest from this. This phase shall .

Driving on the freeway is fine, roads are good and sometimes I wonder, why limit the speed so much? 110km max, I think only NT allows 130km.
Like why?

I usually do 140km on free way. From Sydney - Adelaide, I did between 160 - 180 on one very long but lonely road. My GPS lost signal and I missed the right way...
I get over excited on long drive and i sometimes unintentionally do over the limit. I copped three tickets from Adelaide to Melbourne in 2017 I think, 9 demerit points with some painful AUD.

NT has a long stretch of road on SA border that has no speed limit previously. That is where car manufacturers used to test cars as I was told back in the days.

On the 17 hour drive, how many times did you stop to fill up your tank? Lol. Or do you put extra fuel in jerry cans?

I think I filled about three times, the tank last up to 850KM on freeway...

Ballina to GC, now that's a very short interstate drive but 10-13 drive ain't short at all.
But man, you did 28 hrs from Adelaide to Perth? That means you didn't stop at all? That's just not realistic. cheesy

No, not a straight drive. It was 16 hours and 14 hours (including getting to final destination) it was about 30 hours altogether.

I did Sydney to Adelaide in 17 hours one way too. Driving on the freeway is fun. Only be careful of the ferals especially the Roos.

Thanks. I will talk to him about it and observe him too.

There is no need for any talk. He has shown you in clear picture the content of his character. Your talk will not change his belief, disposition and views about the position of a woman in marriage.

The options you have is either take a walk now or learn to live like a maid if and/or when you marry.

You don't marry someone with the intention that he or she will change. That will be an injustice you do to yourself and unborn children.

Good day.. Please, I'm new here and I need help...
I studied Physics Education, graduated 2017 ... And I have the intentions of studying Medical Physics for Masters.
I was advised not to spend Millions on Fees and the likes but to go for PR since that's what I want to end up with.

But I really don't know how to go about it... the application and the rest... I need a guide please

The first step is to read the thread from the beginning, you will then know how to go about it.

Please what does Australia mean by *Pro rata Occupation*?

This mean that highly popular skills or occupations will be restricted and the invitations are sent pro-rata (limited number of invites in that skill category).

Summary is that those occupations have defined number of invitation to give other occupations a shot.

@corjay,

Both of you can still be primary applicant. You can both submit EOI and whoever gets the invitation first becomes the principal applicant.

That being said, have you checked the conditions for nomination from Victoria or New South Wales? Other option is customer service manager for your occupation.

Your husband can go through the RPL route (recognition of prior learning) for ACS assessment.

How about going through school, will it be easier getting papers that way?

There is definite response to your question. It may or may not depending on your course of study and state of study.
And of course, migration policy is dynamic.

Please am new to this group and I know nothing about Australia PR. I will be 31 by July, am married, am a medical doctor and I have up to 3 years experience working as a doctor. I have written General Ielts with scores LRWS-7.5,8.5,7,7. I filled in the eligibility for visa 189 and am getting 70 points. Please I got an info from a telegram group that I can assess my skill under a health related skilled occupation as going through Australian Medical Board would require me writing AMC. Please house, which health related occupations can I assess my skill under and how do I go about it?

Why not write PLAB for the UK and practise there for at least a year and then consider relocation to Australia. It will be easier that way.

Ohh... thanks sir...

The thing is that.. I'm planning to go to Australia by 2022..ie my final year...
I'm currently saving my money and I intend to learn a new skill in IT maybe software development and plumbing because I heard law can't Grant u PR there

I'm just confused as to how to migrate especially due to the fact that I might not have up to the 3yrs and above experience needed for the 189 visa

What are you studying?

Learning IT may not improve your chance except you get a quslification in the IT or plumbing. Qualification is an important requirement for the process.

189 is not the only subclass available. Have you read the thread?

Please, I studied Physics Education Bsc Ed. and I'll love to have my masters in Medical Physics and also love to have it in Aussie.. I actually finished with a CGPA of 2.75 thereabout... What's my chances of ission, what's the application procedure.
And what are the possible school suggestions for me...
And How marketable is the course over there?

When did you graduate? Do you have experience as a teacher?

You are a science teacher if you have experience. You will be better off starting the PR process than committing millions to school when your end game is PR. It is easier from the outside most of the times than applying onshore because you have all the states to apply for nomination. People onshore can only get nomination in state of residence except they have a job offer in another state or relocate.

Check the PR thread and read the process.

Good day House,

I’m interested in masters in law, i want to know the prospective with such masters as (it’s 1year) and i intends to stay back after study. Will it be possible?

Also as a lawyer in Nigeria if masters in law won’t work out for me or is not lucrative, what other masters are good and that can help one get post study visa, or apply for pr

Go through the course or department's website to identify which of the courses will qualify you to be ed with the Law society of that state post study. If the course can give you opportunity to be ed and called to the bar in the state, you are on the pathway to PR as a solicitor or Barrister.

If the course or program will not give you hip of the Law society, it is a waste of resources. If your aim is to stay post study, you must have a plan from now.

A lot of people grab any course just to get to Australia and then take many years to find directions while some end up being sent back home.

Don't let any agent deceive you into study any course to get the visa. Most of the time it ends in tears.

Goodluck

Happy new years Uncle B.

You keep sneaking in and out tongue

Some people do not know how to thrive for balance.

So if they want to place something above their family, it better be their calling e.g. Apostle Paul them them and not a job/living.

Unfortunately, only a minute few will ever fulfill their calling or purpose. Most are just chasing the wind under the guise of 'working, earning a living or becoming independent'.

I still think the family is the first ministry sha.

I don't sneak. It is you that disappeared cool angry

The family is the basic unit of life if I may put it that way. When an assignment is committed to a person, it is not to put the family unit in jeopardy under any circumstance. Anyone that chooses to have a biological family cannot put his calling above his or her family as it is a recipe for disaster. Like you put it, the balance is the key and I do know that grace is always available in abundance for it.

There is no evidence that Paul had a nuclear family unit of his own. Most information available are speculations. Paul has always been a journeyman even before his conversion..

I will send you a mail if you have not changed your email.
