Please will VITASSESS assess an MSc and PhD from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, equivalent to that obtained from Australia?
PhD should be able to get equivalent depending on the content of your program. Years of completion and the course work before thesis.

I have with both Lagos and Ogun state. In Lagos they said it would appear as self employment because the business isn't in their database, while in Ogun state they said it has to appear as self employment or they'd have to audit the business, and they'd have to fine them like half a million for each year my tax wasn't filed.
Tax clearance is not a compulsory requirement though. A third party evidence of salary payment is important. So you can provide your bank statement showing salary payment and your pension statement.

Good evening Chief, I have tried over the past couple of weeks to solve the tax issues to no avail, they keep saying if I want to file it myself, it would be tagged self employed. I really don't know how to go about this.
I'll appreciate suggestions on how to deal with this.
Which state are you doing it from?
Usually the State Internal revenue allows you to remit the tax if your employer hasn't done so.
Alternatively, you can ask your employer to give you your tax remittance or deduction value and use it to pay at the internal revenue service.

This is just to encourage someone here and also to thank the pioneer of this group, Mr Bellong. I stumbled on this group as at late 2016 and I followed it diligently. It took me time and I overcame different obstacles with time. Today, I am an Australian citizen, something I didn’t have in mind as at early 2016. If you have what it takes, go the skilled visa route. You will be happy you did at the end.✌️
Congratulations bro

You have qualification and experience as a fitter mechanic ? Mate, that is a gold mine you are sitting on.
Read the thread, do you assessment with TRA and get the Australia migration going.
Once you have positive assessment from TRA, you can check www.seek.com.au to apply for fitter mechanic position. You may get company that will sponsor you.

@tunlex01 and @Bellong
I hope you are all well.
I have booked my PTE for this week.
Could you please assist with a sample or template EOI for ICT-related fields(ICT Customer Officer/System or Network Engineer)
You are much appreciated. my email is [email protected] for reference
@tunlex01
Can you please assist me with the above.
Thank you
EOI or job descriptions?
If it is EOI, you will have to create one yourself on skillselect after you have done skill assessment and English test. It is like filling a form.
If it is job descriptions, Google ANZSCO job descriptions for the occupation to give you guidance on writing yours.

We all cannot share the same opinion about a matter. We should all learn to agree to disagree with one another. We view things differently.
We can engage respectfully and still disagree on issue. Please let us be guided.

Boss, please I need your opinion here.
I'm 42, and my wife turned 31 this week Monday. We also have 7 months old baby.
Cos of her age, I feel she should be the primary applicant. She has upper credit HND in Industrial Safety Technology from Petroleum Training Institute Nigeria (2016), and 2nd class upper degree in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment from Middlesex University, London (2018).
Problem is she's working as a data analyst in one foreign organisation in Nigeria after finishing a program in data analysis since safety work wasn't forthcoming.
From the skill occupation list, I saw 'Occupational health and safety Adviser". And she meets the requirements except for work experience in that field.
Here is my question specifically: An uncle of hers who has a dredging license is willing to issue her a backdated job offer letter with payslip (note that his company is not really functional for some 3 years now). Another friend of mine who is into real estate is also willing to offer the same favour. Please, do you think it will scale through or what do you advise, my boss?
Also, her professional hip certification like NEBOSH Int'l general certificate do you think it will increase her chances?
It's stated in the anzsco that registration or licensing may be required. What do they mean by that, please?
Thanks
Cc: tunlex01
What is your own occupation?
I wouldn't advice you do an arrangee experience. It is not right.
Secondly, a thorough CO will surely find out.

Good day House,
Please, I need your direction on the best pathway and assessing body I can choose.
I am 41years and i have my masters degree in process engineering and degree in chemical engineering.
I have over 7years work experience as a maintenance planner.
I am married and my wife is 33years has a degree in library and information science and and over 5years experience in istrative operations with a Nigeria company with no proof of payslips and tax details.
But, I can show all my documents.
Please, which is the best pathway and assessing body for me?
I will be glad to hear from our experts.
Thank you
Your wife would have been the better applicant based on her age. Unfortunately, she doesn't have the requisite documents and experience to push through.
For you, check the occupation list to find one that aligns with your experience.

Hello guys @tunlex01 @bellong
Following the advise from this platform. I have applied for assessment and it came back positive.
My total score From calculations at this point include assement and current English test which should expire 2025 February equals 75points and if I get nominated by a state, that’s should bring total score to 80points.
However I am stuck between applying for EOI or applying for another English test and aim for superior points to bring my total score including nomination to 90points. As my previous English score of proficient.
Please advise on this.
Please note that I am onshore studying in Sydney.
Also let’s assume I express with what I have currently, can I Update the results when I get a better English score?
Also can I apply for multiple states at thesame time?
You can fill EOI while still preparing for another English test. You can update your EOI with the new result if you have not received an invitation.
Yes, you can apply for multiple states. However, States may overlook you if they noticed you are choosing other states too. What you can do is create different EOI for the states of your interest.

When I set up a company, I will have a room set up specifically for power nap. I discussed this sometimes ago with my colleagues. I told them that I will ensure every employee gets a 15 - 20 minutes nap when required daily.
There is magic in a short nap, makes you feel very refreshed and ready for another task.
HR should be the one to champion it.

Hello learned colleagues,
Please i have a question; Kindly respond if you have knowledge on it.
Can one claim employment points at the point of EOI;
1- He didn't assess employment with EA
2- The years of experience are in a different aspect other than the assessed occupation(for instance, assessed metallurgist and has sales engineering experience)
Please engineers, respond
No, you can only claim experience points for the assessed occupation not for a different occupation.

The whole Sydney and Washignton Accord debacle.
Then some one goes,, ohhh now you are in australia, all you need do is enrol for a course , then this will make your program be quiavlent to the washington accord ( 4 years degre program) ..etc . i think you get the point.
They do not tell you the huge cost implications of enroling in another program.
I reckon this is peculiar to you. A lot of engineers I know didn't have to upgrade with any programs before getting a job.
Of course, getting the first job may be challenging and it is not peculiar to engineers.

Flattery will get you everywhere, they say, but unfortunately, "everywhere" in this case doesn't include my dating pool. As much as I appreciate the offer to "mingle" and become a "useful" duo, your emoji game is a little strong for my current emotional bandwidth. It's like staring into the sun of romance, and frankly, my retinas can only handle so much sparkle.
Now, if you're offering to be my wingman and point me towards someone with a more subtle emoji vocabulary, then we might be cookin' with gas (or should I say, "fire" with the appropriate emoji?). But otherwise, I'm afraid I'll have to politely decline your invitation to become the next Bonnie and Clyde... of awkward online flirting.
But hey, don't let me discourage you! There's a whole world of potential partners out there, each with their own unique emoji style. Just , sometimes less is more, and a well-placed wink can be far more effective than a double chin emoji.
Good luck on your quest for love, emoji warrior! ⚔️
In summary, his choice of emoji gave you insight to his personality right? I am interested to know the psychology tool you used to understand his personality.
You write well though with a subtle dose of good humour.

That's a lie
I know a guy with schizophrenia that's doing well more than the average dude
I think your opinion stems from the believe that people living with mental illness cannot live a normal life. It is ignorance to believe the lie.
DSM-V classified schizophrenia as a serious mental illness. People with mental illness can still live a normal life with from behavioural therapy, anti-psychotic medications and other therapy methods.
Yes, people with schizophrenia can live well and still contribute to the society. Professor John Nash, a Nobel laurette in Mathematics is a classic example.
@OP, the loss of loved ones is very painful particularly those who have made significant impact in our lives. The good memories we have of them and the great life they lived help to alleviate the pain.
Happy to hear that your brother got the help he needed and didn't develop a treatment resistant schizophrenia.
It is well with you all.
